It's the most wonderful time of the year, however some of our favorite decorations and foods can be not safe for pets.
Sierra was found in the parking lot with a broken leg a little over a year ago. Between the stay at Prospect Animal Hospital and Veterinary Specialty Center I am all better now! I do have a plate in my back leg, but that doesn't slow me down one bit! I am up to date on shots and checked on by my friends here in the hospital every day.
She went missing near McHenry and Whippletree Road in Wheeling, IL. Chikis was wearing a pink collar, but there was no ID tag or microchip. The owner also advised that Chikis does not have teeth. The most recent confirmed sighting we received was back on 11/8 and an unconfirmed sighting on 11/23. Chikis is very shy and skittish, so she may be hunkering down during the day and traveling at night. We're hoping, however, that someone has taken her in to care for her and may not know how to find her owners.

Very kind and gentle with my baby Molly, she has been through so much in her little life and now she is suffering from Lyme disease and a kidney infection and was misdiagnosed, handled very rough, miss treated at a different clinic! They said that they needed to muzzle her because she tried to bite her that's never happened before and to top it all off they told me I had to sedate her and put her on tranquilizers before I brought her in to their vet next time so I called Prospect clinic they were kind to her she let them do what they needed to do without a problem and they got down to the point of exactly what was wrong with her treated it and I'm giving her the medication now I'm very thankful for Prospect Animal Hosp, and their staff

I can't thank the staff, especially Manny for going above and beyond! We were in a difficult family health situation while our dog Murphy needed prompt help. Manny delivered needed medication when we were unable to pick it up. I highly recommend this establishment! Thank you very much for your help!

No doubt Dr. Dodin is the best vet in the area. But what makes her practice the best is not only herself but her TEAM. Dr. Dodin is an amazing vet with her expertise and also for gathering an amazing team around her. Manny, Kristina and Diane, they all KNOW about your pet, they all CARE about your pet, they don't ask you what was reason of your last visit because they already KNOW why you were there!
Our cat, Eagon, he would freak out when we come home after the vet visits, but in the caring hands of this team, he just comes home and acts completely normal. Thank you Dr. Dodin, you changed our perception about vets.

I usually make choices about where to buy service based on Yelp and google ratings. This place is definitely a 5! Most vets I've tried or secret shopped had terrible front desk staff which brings ratings down but truly, this place is the total package. The vet is sensational and very experienced. The pricing is competitive and the actual office ran well with smiling faces to greet us. Great Job!

We were only with Dr. Dodin for a short time. Our dog was sick and we were unhappy with our vet so upon reading reviews, we called and set up an appointment. We were amazed at the service and compassion that the office provides. Dr. Dodin was so knowledgeable and helpful. She takes her time, follows up and responds to calls/emails quickly. We would highly recommend Prospect Animal Hospital.

We love love love Prospect Animal Hospital and Dr. Dodin and her staff! Our lab puppy, Penny, genuinely enjoys going to the vet to see Dr. D--and while some pets may be apprehensive about vets' offices, Dr. Dodin and her staff are always so friendly and you can tell that they are truly passionate about animals. It is this warm and inviting behavior that makes Penny literally pull us into the Prospect Animal office in sheer excitement every time.
We are so grateful for Dr. Dodin's patience with our super energetic girl and all of our questions as first-time dog owners. I am so glad I found Prospect Animal Hospital for our dogs.
Dr. Dodin and her staff are the best!!! They are always happy to see you and your pets no matter what the need is. Dr. Dodin is knowledgeable and compassionate. She and her staff always take the time to greet your pet so they feel comfortable. We have seen her for well and sick visits as well as a big surgery for our golden retriever.
Her follow up care was very thorough and her staff always calls after visits to check on our dogs. She helped us with the loss of our golden with amazing care and has welcomed our new puppy with love. Thank you for all you do
