The bonds we share with our pets are something to be treasured, and while our loyal companions may not stick around for as long as we want them to, we'll never forget all the moments we shared with them. Our full-service animal hospital has been providing pet families in and around Limerick, New Hanover and Royersford with first-rate veterinary care and customer service for decades, and our commitment to excellence remains unchanged.
We firmly believe that pets deserve to be treated like members of the family, and receive the level of care and kindness we would expect for our own four-legged family members.

Do not use this veterinary hospital unless you want to be ripped off. They try to give shots that are unnecessary and take advantage of young people. Our daughter missed an appointment and was charged $50.00 which she paid and then they made her pre-pay her next appointment which is not stated anywhere on their website. Bait and switch practices. When I called for a refund was put on hold for ever while they tried to figure this out.
They are not trustworthy and would never recommend using them to anyone. They told me that the pre-payment after missing an appointment is in their financial policy and told my daughter they just implemented it. Which is it? How can you trust you pet to a business that can't even publish their policy or state when they went into effect.

We have been taking our pets to Limerick Vet for years now. While we have been to other veterinary practices in the past, none have came close to the compassion, expertise and care that Limerick Vet has given us. Limerick's staff is top tier, from the office/reception staff to the technicians (a huge shout out to Katie and Linda!), they truly care and love animals. Dr. Pfluger and Dr. Donahue have been seeing our cats and dogs over the years and we have nothing but the most positive experiences. I always find myself raving about how amazing our Vets are to my animal loving friends/family. Thank you to Limerick for taking such fantastic care of our fur babies.

Yesterday afternoon, my cat unexpectedly passed away. Despite this not being our normal vet, the individuals working there were kind in helping me with the process. We arrived with my little man and despite the 1 person per pet rule, they allowed my boyfriend and I to come in and say goodbye to him one last time. I can't speak to them as a vet per-se, but I can assure you that if half of the compassion I saw yesterday is given to your pet, you will be in good hands. Thank you to everyone at Limerick Veterinary Hospital for the kindness you showed.

Limerick vet is the complete package. Our dog Moose and cat Marji have gone there since we got them and they've been in such good hands. We've been through ringworm and fleas and neutering. All handled with excellent care and tons of compassion. Prices are comparable to what I'd expect to pay for elsewhere and I love that we can take Moose to the daycare (Happy Tails) and not worry if something happens because they handle all his records and care.
He is well loved and has so much fun at daycare and boarding. Also bonus points that they'll work with you if your dog hasn't been fixed yet and they always carefully manage playgroups to prevent incidents. Can't recommend them enough.

Came thru in a pinch at the last minute. I am truly thankful! More importantly, I am extremely happy with the level of care my 10 year old English Lab with hip dysplasia and arthritis received. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Individual & personal status updates when checking on your boarded pup as well. First time needing to medically board our aging English Lab. (11 days) Can be pricey.but family pet had access to care 24/7! Your loved one is in good hands while away! Job well done Limerick Veterinary Hospital!

I've been coming here for my dogs emergency needs for years and I've never had a bad experience. I've unfortunately had heartbreaking situations, but the staff has always been considerate, empathetic, and extremely helpful. From their compassion with Edgar's peaceful crossover, to our newest furbaby Toby, Limerick Very will be our first choice.
