Services
Since we opened in 1985, our goal has been to provide the highest quality full service veterinary facility available for your pets at a reasonable cost to you. When you call with a problem you will find our staff knowledgeable and caring. If you need an appointment you can choose from our convenient morning, late afternoon, evening, and Saturday hours.
Here at Runaway Farm Pet Hospital, we are pleased to have a large number of veterinary services available for our patients. As the pet hospital Quakertown, PA and surrounding communities can rely on, trust our veterinary providers with your pet's health and wellbeing. Our practice has been serving Pennsylvania pet owners for decades, and we are passionate about veterinary care. If you have a question about one of the veterinary services we offer or your pet's health, please feel free to give us a call.
We recommend year-round prevention because fleas can survive indoors throughout the winter months and ticks will be seen on any warm day in winter. When you need a quality vet, be sure to stop by our office. Heartworm prevention is one of the easiest and most preventable diseases. If gone unnoticed or untreated, it can kill your dog.
At Runaway Farm Pet Hospital, you can expect state-of-the-art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.

I love Runaway Farms! The staff is very friendly and they take excellent care of my dogs and cats. Dr. Dave is an excellent vet and we trust his judgement completely. We also love using the barn bucks earned during our visit for other services like the on-site groomer. I would recommend Runaway Farms to any pet owner.

I've been taking my cat here for the past five years but after my experience last Monday and the neglect of not treating my animal, literally at all we will not be returning. My poor cat has gone over a week with an apparent hematoma on his ear which they didn't drain nor look at it for more than ten seconds and sent us on our way with a hefty bill for nothing other than meds that didn't work.
Fast forward to a week later and I schedule him with a new vet and because they actually took the time to look at his ears they found that he has a horrible infection in BOTH ears, drained the hematoma, injected antibiotics into the ears and flushed both ears. Thanks to runaway my cat now has scar tissue on his ear from not being treated, something that could've been prevented if he was actually treated.

I was looking for a new veterinarian for my puppy. Dr. Dave and the staff at Runaway Farm Pet Hospital was highly recommended. I was very happy with our first visit with Dr. Dave. He took his time with our puppy and answered all my questions. He was patient, caring and very personable. I am so happy that we found a trustworthy veterinarian.

I have had only great experiences thus far with runaway. Recently, I woke up to my one year old golden retriever drooling uncontrollably and acting lethargic (both of which are signed of poisoning). I was worried so I called runaway and they squeezed me in for an appointment time to take a look at her. When I mentioned that I had to leave for work shortly after the appointment and wasn't comfortable leaving her alone at home they offered to hold her at the vet to monitor her in case anything were to happen! Everyone is very nice!

Very kind & caring staff. Services are definitely a bit pricey but it's worth it if it means he is healthy and happy & in the proper care. You can tell the staff cares about your pet a lot too, the one lady even got down on the floor with him. It makes me happy knowing he was comfortable & feeling loved, whereas a past experience elsewhere, he was a bit rough handled and not happy at all during/afterwards. Was glad to see he was comfortable and even slept the whole way home (not normal for him)

This place is great! Dr. Dave is professional yet down to earth. His staff is also friendly and dedicated to animals well being. Theres a store attached to the vet. This place offers Barn Bucks which accrue and offer discounts for a variety of things. Amaya gives this place, two enthusiastic paws up!

BEWARE- They mistreated me and my dog. My pomeranian, who had her annual checkup last month, was scheduled for grooming today. I picked her up from the "grooming" with cuts in her skin and a choppy groom job. The staff didn't charge me for the grooming but DID charge me for ANOTHER physical exam and rabies which I said she does not need when I dropped her off-- again, I was there a month ago and according to their sheet said she is scheduled in 2020 to get her rabies. They refused to remove the charges that I did not agree to. I will never go there again!

I love this place! Dr. Kistler is so helpful and patient with my dogs. He helped me with my new rescue in so many ways and Cooper has turned out great! As for my other dog who has an injury that is permanent he has helped immensely with helping ease some of her chronic pain. This place is great and they really take the time to help you out. I couldn't dream of a better vet. Also, the price is extremely reasonable and they don't nickel and dime you for everything.

Love this vet hospital. We have been using their services for over 20 years. Our pets have used surgical services, routine checkups. emergency services and boarding. Always professional and caring. The prices are reasonable and they don't try and sell you everything they offer! Love the family feel.

Runaway Farm is a great place to take your animals. I have been going there for a couple years with both my cats and dogs. Most recently my dog had to have acl surgery and they did a great job and have always provided excellent service. Dr Kistler and the other vets have always been very gentle and good with my animals! Everyone else who works there is also very helpful and provides good service as well. If your looking for a great place to take your animals defintly choose Runaway Farm!

We will NEVER return to this horrible vet again! First off, this place is filthy. There is hair covering everything in the room, it smelled terrible, and honestly looked like it had never been cleaned. Second, dr kistler also pinned our dog on the floor! He put her in a headlock to the point where her poor eyes we're bulging out of her head. They were doing a lymes test on her and the vet tech stuck her about 18 TIMES and barely got enough blood for the test.
She had NO clue what she was doing. He then went on telling us that we need to teach our dog to be submissive. When you're being stuck 18 times in a row, would you be submissive? This place is just horrid. I can't express that enough. Please, save your animal and take them somewhere clean and professional.
