Without a doubt, the hardest part of owning a pet is knowing when it is time to say goodbye. My Siamese cat’s (The Big Dummy), overall health was deteriorating rapidly, and we knew the end time was near. As with most pet owner’s, we went back and forth about this decision. Were we moving too quickly with our decision or were we just prolonging the suffering.
What we came to realize was, there is no perfect time in this process to end the pain.
Late in the afternoon we carried him for one last time into Trinity Pet Hospital. My wife and I met with Dr. Salton, who has been all my animal’s doctor for almost 30 years. Together we discussed what was going to happen while my Siamese curled up on my wife’s lap. It was comforting to see him relaxed and at peace in a place he was familiar with.
All questions and paperwork were completed before the procedure so that the office did not unnecessarily intrude on the grief we were feeling at the end. We were given the option to stay with him during his last few minutes which was good for both him and us also.
We held him while he passed and knew that he felt no pain and had no awareness of what was happening. Both Dr. Salton and her technician stayed with all of us during the entire procedure until it was complete.
All of us have lived together during his 18 years of life. We have been through the good times and the bad, and we had to be by his side through this. It was the least we could do for one great pet, in his last minutes.
I highly recommend this office for anyone in the Tampa Bay area needing a quality and caring facility for all their pet’s needs.

Love love love Dr. Salton, not only as a vet but as a person. So caring and also what a great personality! Wasn't happy with my first vet pick upon moving to Florida but so glad a friend recommended her. My 11-year-old lab is now thriving after having a few issues. The office staff and the vet techs are all super pleasant! Don't hesitate to see this practice!

Great staff; love-love the vet! My dog suffers anxiety, but the vet assistant was splendid, adorable with my lil princess, which made her feel more relaxed.

I recent moved to NPR and switched vets. I had my dogs teeth cleaned there and they did a wonderful job. I made his annual appointment there (to get shots, heat guard ).As you pull up they still have you call and come to get your dog ( Covid rules ).I did / do not like this. He is at a new vet around new people and I wanted to accompany my dog to his vet appointment.

The same same as I did at my prior vet ( even during the height of Covid ).The same as I accompanied my children to there doctors appointments when they were children. I made a promise to my dog that I would provide him with the best possible care / life possible. If I am unable to accompany him for shots and check ups then we will gladly go elsewhere. I did not know transparency was a bad thing.

All they care about is money. They DO NOT care about your dog. They sent some pills for my dog's allergies which of course didn't work so I had to go back for another appointment to get other pills. When I went back, they gave me a shampoo for allergies that almost killed my dog since it got a really bad reaction on the skin, allergies got worse, and now my dog has also hard time breathing due to the same reaction. Their only response was to take her back as an emergency (Of course it is more expensive) so they could see her again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN THIS PLACE.

My pup was dealing with some serious skin issues we didn't know for so long how to control it. I brought my very uncomfortable doggo in and the staff lit up saying how pretty she was and although she was terrified of the masks and scrubs they welcomed her and made her feel safe as the visit went on. She was too scared to walk to the back without her owner so the vet carried my big dog to the back. Luna is doing great just a few days into her medication her skin has never looked so clear and the uncomfortable itching has stopped and her hair that was missing from licking has started growing back already.

They gave me coupons to better afford her medication and they work with you on the price my mom has also had a great experience bringing her two Great Danes in before she moved out of state. Highly recommend thank you guys for the help Luna and I appreciate it!

I am back and forth to Trinity often and now I have had my 6-year-old lab mix there for emergencies twice over the last year. I can't say enough for the friendliness and true concern they have for you and your relationship with your pet. Tucher and I thank you guys again. Here we are about a week later.

I took our cat in for an urgent visit. The tech and vet were very patient in giving her time to calm down before examining her. The vet delivered the bad news with empathy and allowed me time to process. The cost was reasonable for the services performed. The vet asked consent before proceeding with additional cost diagnostics, and before administering any medication.

I will NEVER take my dogs here ever again! They like to do things without your consent and give you a huge bill with things on it that you weren't even aware of! Ridiculous! Kim, the vet tech and Owner/Manager loves to take people's money for services they wasn't even aware of! I called and her answer was " You we're there when we were speaking about it.well the x-ray was done and that's it.".

Yes I was there when you and the other nurse were speaking amongst each other BUT nobody asked ME if I wanted and X-ray to be done! I NEVER gave my consent and was NEVER asked personally for you guys to take her or do an X-ray. You guys just took her to the back quicker than quick just to put it in the bill. I repeat, I will involve my lawyers and make sure people and the neighborhoods around there, never go to you ever again! That's robbery!

True professional treatment for my dogs. Also not corporate so the staff at the hospital treats us pet owners like people not walking $$$ machines.

By far the best bet that I've been to! My cat, Sushi Roll, needed an emergency appointment and they were able to get her in the same day. The office staff was very kind and considerate. Dr. Salton genuinely cares about the health of my cat and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that they had planned to do. I highly recommend this vet clinic! Very happy with the care provided to my cat.
