My husband and I recently adopted a puppy, Sadie, and a one year old, Everest from the humane society. Within 3-4 days Sadie was rushed to Creekside with parvo and Everest a couple days later with kennel cough. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the doctors and staff at Creekside. While Sadie was hospitalized the vets contacted me DAILY with updates on my baby.

My husband and I were allowed to see Sadie during her stay and the staff provided such great care for her and Everest. They are so thorough, clean, caring, and just amazing. Honestly, the wait time can suck but what do you expect from a 24/7 emergency care clinic. I would rather wait while other patience receive the top quality care I have witnessed than to receive fast, half hazard care for my dogs. We will be back and can't express how much appreciation we have for this place

I found Creekside several years ago in the mist of an emergency situation with a family member's animal. They were the closest clinic that was open, and we feared something was seriously wrong with our pet. They immediately evaluated the cat (thank you), and said he needed surgery ASAP. I was asked for immediate payment for well over $3k in order for them to take him back.

When I asked to see what the payment entailed, it included aftercare and items that would be needed for the days after surgery. When I asked to pay for only what was needed that night to cover the surgery and immediate care, they refused. I was very fortunate to have a credit card limit that would cover the full estimate. My family member only had a debit card with a $500 transaction limit and all banks were closed, so I am assuming their cat would have been completely out of luck if I had not driven them.

We found out way later that they took Care Credit or equivalent, which was never mentioned. Luckily I was refunded several days later for the extra charges paid that night (what I had asked to be taken off originally). I will never forget how stressful that was and how borderline hostile the staff was about the payment situation. With that being said, the care was excellent and we still have our lovely pet.

I get it, it was late at night and you are going to pay more. I just hope nobody else who desperately loves their pet has such a stressful transaction in an emergency, and that staff is now transparent about all payment options and no longer requires up front payment for things that are not immediately necessary in an emergency.

Our dog Cash woke up on a Friday morning throwing up, we took him to our vet and after X-rays was sent home with nausea medication and a bland diet. Sunday morning Cash wasn't eating or drinking so we took him to Creekside for a second opinion. The ladies at the front desk were amazing getting us checked in, Erica and the other lady listen and truly cared.

The Vet Tech came out and we immediately loved her, Audrey I believe her name was. Dr. Fisher came in and not joking after looking at him for 20 seconds knew his problem. She explained what he needed to see what next steps would be. Cash ended up needing surgery and both of them kept us updated along the way. We felt at ease leaving him, and knew he would be ok. Dr. Fisher saved our puppies life and we will never be able to thank her enough. Cash is home now resting and being his loving puppy self. Thank you Creekside!

When our cat started having an eye problem, we took him to a vet nearer to our home, who suggested an Animal Eye Clinic. They were booked solid for 2 1/2 weeks, but we made an appointment, and hoped for the best. Unfortunately this morning, well before the eye appointment date, I discovered the globe of his eye internally red and bulging a bit. The Animal Eye Clinic could not see him on their "surgery day." BUT the Creekside Pet Center came up as well on Google search of vet eye clinic (later discovered no eye vet there).

They agreed to see him, so I drove 30 minutes to Keller. The vet saw the eye, and laid out a plan. I told him our cat is semi-feral and would require sedation, & I signed a consent form agreeing to all risks for sedation. I went in late to my human hospital job, expecting the phone updates they said would come. They never called. At 4:30 PM, I inquired about the status of our cat, and was told that he could not be examined without sedation.

I reminded them that I had already consented to sedation. They said someone would call me. No one ever did. At 8:40 PM, 12 hours after I checked him in, I retrieved my frightened cat to find that they had left him unattended all day, probably without even water, and had done absolutely no examination or therapy. There was no charge, because they left him to suffer, while his eye worsened.

Now it is 11 PM, & I am in another Emergency Clinic, awaiting the vet, who will likely tell me the eye is no longer salvageable. I feel this is a case of overt cruelty and neglect from Creekside. And as a lesson to staff, from the slight scoffing when someone answers, "This IS an emergency" to the repetitive phone disconnects, you also have a role in the traumatic experience. Update: At 11:15 PM, the Airport Freeway Emergency Hospital has determined the this is a real emergency with a ruptured ocular globe, and are planning enucleation tonight.

Response to owner response: Words like "We're sorry to hear that you were less than satisfied" and "We can understand how a lack of communication could take away from your experience" are such a downplay of what actually happened, as to sound dismissive. Not to mention that the first statement is repeated over and over in these reviews for simple issues of people not wanting to wait around and for staff rudeness.

Up until about the end of my "experience, " I was extremely polite and patient.until (after 12 hours of radio silence about a painful ocular emergency) discovering that no one seemed to know that my suffering cat was even there! And the phone staff fell back on "I just came on shift at 5 PM." 5 PM? I was calling at 8:30 PM, after first inquiring at 4:30 PM! Is there not a process of handoff, so everyone knows what is going on? Is 3.5 hours not sufficient time to make the rounds and figure out what animals are in your care?

For all the complaints about human medicine, there are state boards to report to, a National Practitioner Database, and federal requirements that all medical hospitals that receive Medicare patients must perform routine peer review and quality improvement. Physicians and hospitals get scorecards for quality and patient satisfaction. In comparison, what I experienced with my cat felt like the wild west or a 3rd world effort.

The staff went above and beyond for our precious Minnie. I can't say enough good things. The compassion and patience they showed my family as we had to say goodbye to our baby will always be remembered. I would recommend Creekside to anyone. They rushed to help Minnie right away and never kept us in the dark about what was going on. Even though it is considered "after hours" the prices are very fair. This was a very hard time for us, but the care they showed helped make it just a little easier. Thank you so much Creekside. In loving memory of Minnie 7/18/16-5/5/22

Called several clinics for help after another clinic's mistakes, and Creekside was the only one trying their best to troubleshoot and accommodate with my pet's best interest at heart. We've been there twice now, and have been very impressed with both vets, assistants and staff. Today, I want to thank Dr Fischer and her assistant Karen was tremendous, calm and so kind. They are knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful, prompt (we were a walk-in) and so caring! New, beautiful, clean facility also!

I absolutely LOVED working at Creekside for the past 3 years! I was given the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the company and grow personally and professionally. It was such an honor and a privilege to be trained by the most knowledgeable and empathetic team managers I have ever known. From a long-term employee perspective, I know that I was respected, loved and appreciated every day at Creekside.

It was a blast to see the company grow and open their brand new hospital. Having experienced how each department of Creekside functions, I am so proud to say that is where I come from professionally. I owe a huge 'thank you' to the team members, clients and fur babies that made each day of work so meaningful and fulfilling. If I could go back and do it all again, I absolutely would! Moving forward, I am so thankful for all the resources Creekside gave me to be successful wherever I go. I have nothing but love for this wonderful establishment filled with wonderful people.

My dog started showing signs of conjunctivitis in his eyes on a Saturday night, so I called Creekside around midnight on a Sunday and the employee who answered the phone was extremely helpful. She sent me the new patient form in a text message, so I filled it out, and then she told me which times would be best that Sunday (though they did not take appointments as it is walk in only).

They also let me know that the fee for my dog to be seen would be around $60 (which is quite reasonable for not having an appointment!) I brought my dog early that Sunday morning and they had great curbside service. They took my dog in after less than 5 minutes of waiting in the car, and they said it might be an hour before he's ready to be picked up, but in reality it was only about half an hour. Dr. Fisher let me know he would need some eye ointment and they tested for scratches on his eye and they fortunately didn't see any.

I was out in less than an hour and the bill was around $150 which was less than expected. The employee that brought my dog out gave me very detailed instructions for how to apply his eye ointment and I appreciate their attention to detail. My dog's eyes are already clearing up just a few days later and I'm grateful for the professional service for such a reasonable price! Here's a picture of my happy boy

Tried twice. First appointment we were told there were emergencies and our wait would likely be more than an hour. We were also quoted a price to biopsy of a lump on the cat, but that the price didn't include pathology. When I asked howuch the pathology would be, she shrugged and said she didn't know. Anyway, we left because we didn't want to wait over an hour even though we had a scheduled appointment.

So we rescheduled, showed up 20 minutes early for the appointment, called 3 times. First and second calls, we were put on hold and then routed to voicemail. Third call finally spoke with someone, was told they would send someone right out. 20 minutes later, haven't seen anyone. So we left. Then we receive a call saying we were put on the walk in list even though we had appointments, blah blah, a bunch of excuses, not acceptable.

This is the second time I've brought my Cody here. First time he was having an allergy attack and this time he had hurt his paw. I didn't have a lot of money and I was calling around trying to find somewhere to get him seen. Creekside stepped up and help me get care within my budget. He had broken a nail pretty severely. Dr. Miller explained everything, the tech, Ryan, came out with Cody and explained again what was done and how to administer the med. Gabby dealt with me calling in quite a few times slightly panicked trying to figure out what I could do for my baby.

They even dealt with my stupid jokes as a way to keep from panicking. All in all this is a great vet clinic they really care about the furry ones. I am extremely happy with the level of care my baby got.

The staff is really nice. We unfortunately had to put our dog down out of the blue and are dealing with so much guilt and regret. Our biggest issue is that no options for treatment were given. After researching the 2 conditions that we were told he most likely had and speaking to other veterenians, we now know that there might have been a chance to save him.

It would have taken some work and prayer but there were options and we weren't given any of them. Instead, euthanasia was the only one given and now we're heartbroken. The guilt of not trying is overwhelming our family. He was perfectly fine prior to this and now he's gone yet we're still not entirely sure what was wrong and if we could have done something to save him.

We had taken him 2 times prior within the same week. He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection the first time, got better, and the second time we got some medicine for his eye. The third visit a few days later for breathing problems is when we had to put him down. I'm not sure how his heart rate and lung issues weren't caught earlier.

I came here this evening after being told it would be a $63 pet exam. I called and they said there was no wait. I show up and waited 45min to be seen. After they took my dog, I then proceeded to wait an additional 2 hours for them. 2 hours went by and still didn't hear anything while waiting in my car. I finally called them and they told me they'd be done in a few minutes.

You see where this is going yet? Then 30 minutes later they finally call and tell me it going to be a couple hundred dollars. You're just stringing me along, telling me you're almost done when you're not. I don't mind taking care of something that might need to be done but would it hurt you to give me a call and ask me if I'm okay with you proceeding, instead of you just doing whatever you want.

What if it costed a $1000 for you to do something, you're just going to assume that someone is okay with that? I just think this is unprofessional and inconsiderate. I NEVER write negative reviews because I don't want to smear businesses. This review is simply because you guys should be held accountable for this mismanagement of a situation. I literally came in for the most trivial small thing and it ended with me never wanting to come back and over paying for something.

The only reason I even came here was because the 24hr service but I will being going elsewhere next time. I hope people that come here will tell them they need to ask for permission before proceeding with treatment.

I had to put my 14 year old Yorkie to sleep tonight. The staff was very sweet and sympathetic. I did have a small wait to be seen, but they let me know they were doing my best to get us taken care of as quickly as possible. This is never an easy experience, but the compassion shown helped me through the process.

We rushed our 9 year old terrier there from another animal hospital who could not care for him. They took our dog and gave him great care under the most unknown circumstances. No one knew why he was so sick. His liver panel was over 1700 and should be below 125 No one could even answer the simple question if he would live, but they were all so positive. The doctors called me multiple times a day and the staff was amazing. Truman is now home with us and happy and doing great. This will be our vet for life

After 10 days of boarding, our 1.5 yr old boxer lost over 7lbs (16% of his body weight) and peed in our house several times the day we brought him home. The facility claims he ran out of food on day 7 because he was eating so well so they fed him their food. After being home for 2 days, his weight is already up by 2 lbs. After one of their vets examined our dog and confirmed the weight loss, they are finally taking responsibility. They also admitted that they failed to tell us that our dog had blood in his stool while he was there. No communication and they starved my dog.

Our Bella was in the poorest of health and needed to be put down. As much as it hurts to lose a pet that has been around for many years, Creekside made this a little easier. The staff fully understood our grief and our pets physical condition. We will miss our Bella, but will definitely bring our remaining fur babies here for their continued health care and support. Thank you!
