Dr. Wright is hands down the best! She sees both of my dogs and she always takes the time to explain to us what they will be doing and always makes sure to ask us if we have any questions or concerns! and all of their staff members are chill and friendly! We recently moved to SF & we will continue to make the drive to bring our dogs to see Dr. Wright.

Times change. And so does ownership, and staff. We finally changed vets after a series of incidents - misdiagnoses - alarmist treatment plans that involved buying prescription products from them - drugging our cat so heavily that we needed to take her to an emergency vet for breathing issues Original Competent, friendly, and good with animals. and they really do seem to care.
No high pressure upsell, and they have gone above and beyond helping us through the issues in preparing for an extended stay abroad - because we're not leaving our cats behind.

Dr. Gonsier saved my cat's life. She needed to have femoral head surgery on her back left leg after being hit by some sort of vehicle. She had spent three-four days at the 24 hour emergency clinic until I could find an appointment to have surgery performed. When I brought my cat in Dr. Gonsier looked at her and said "I don't feel comfortable performing the surgery on her" and recommended more care at his clinic.
My cat spent the day at the clinic and I took her home that night and it was night and day difference. I truly believed he saved her life by suggesting another day of recovery before he performed the surgery at a later date. Dr. Gonsier performed the surgery and it went smoothly and Keira is now fully recovered. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gonsier and the hospital.

This is relating to the pet resort side of this business: I spent the better part of 2 months (since late January) playing phone tag with the pet resort side. It appears that they do not take calls actively, and return calls at unvalidated hours only leaving voicemails asking for a call back. After 7 calls from my end, I received a call back 1 week prior to the boarding date.
After this tag, I was informed they have been booked for boarding since December. I find it incredibly unreasonable that during one of the voicemails they could not have said "unfortunately we are booked for your requested dates" instead of leading on as if some scheduling maneuverability was available. Perhaps leadership here should validate the use of emails to clients, or at the very least, leaving a voicemail containing actionable information rather than a precanned "please work with us, chat soon". I strongly advise against this facility for any adult that has any symbolance of a schedule.

Howard Schutzman is an amazing Dr. I have been here before years ago and most recently today with my elder moms dog. He was kind, honest and we knew right from the first minute of conversation about my mom's dog that he genuinely cared the his well being. We were happy before at this place and now we are sold. It is hard to find good places and staff like this. We can't thank you enough. Please know it is much appreciated and even from the little guy (Happy) who can't thank you himself.

I have been going to Antioch Vet for years. They have the best staff! The last time I brought my cat in, they were very understanding to the fact that my cat can be moody and nervous, and Michelle the vet tech was very patient with her. Michelle shows love and compassion, and that just warms my heart. With that being said, my cat (Athena) warmed up to her pretty quickly. I also have a dog, and three other cats that go there as well. Thank you Michelle, and Antioch Vet Staff.

I really can't say enough good things about this vets office! They have always been very helpful, courteous and willing to go above and beyond to get you the help you need for your pets. The staff is amazing, and work hard at their jobs. You can tell how much they love animals and what they do, especially Michelle Roy Gabovda. Whenever I have a pet going into surgery or staying for tests, she has taken the time to send me photos of my babies and to reassure me that they are doing well! I always feel better when I know she is working! I highly recommend this vet for your furry babies.

We've been taking our boy Flynn (2 year old Cocker Spaniel) to the groomers - Julie and now Salvador as well--since he was a very extra-floofy 6 months old. He can be a bit touchy sometimes so I was nervous. But, we have been happy with Julie & Salvador's treatment & grooming of Flynn. The whole staff has been professional & attentive even through the challenges of Covid.
We switched from our long-time vet to Antioch vet, too so we could have everything in one spot. No complaints. Very happy. Flynn goes in a filthy, fire sooty/ashy, fluffy, mess and comes out a sparkling white happy boy which makes his mamas happy, too!

I wanted to write this review to let people know the place to take your animals is Antioch Veterinary Hospital. I have been going there for several years. My veterinarian is Ken Gonsier. I could not have asked for a better guy. He has taken impeccable care of my animals for a long time. Recently my cat Munchkin came down with a terrible illness and has required constant care.
In current times as we all know it's much more difficult taking your animals to the vet. But Ken and his excellent lead technician Davina have made it much less stressful for me. Without their care and concern I'm pretty sure Munchkin would not still be with me right now. With the pandemic ongoing it's difficult to get appointments as you need them.
But Ken always accommodated me and Munchkin. There are times when she needs to be seen right away and he makes it happen. When I arrive for my appointment I am always so relieved when I see Davina as my technician. She is so nice and helpful and understanding of the situation. She knows it's a stressful and time consuming endeavor having a sick animal that requires constant care.
She's always cheerful and optimistic. And she knows what she's talking about whenever I ask her questions. I know all my animals are in good hands with Ken and Davina. They are a major reason why I recommend taking your animals to Antioch Veterinary Hospital. One final comment, I did have a new technician the last time I took Munchkin in. A young gentleman named Desmond. He was also a very good technician. He knew his stuff and was a very nice young man. I recommend you take your animals to Antioch Veterinary Hospital.
