Since 1990, as a dedicated group of volunteers, it has been our mission to rescue and re-home Persian cats from shelters, vets and owners who need help re-homing their pets. Adopted cats must be indoors only, and no de-clawing! Contact us if you need to re-home your cat or if a cat outside of Northern California needs help.

We will then make a time for a phone interview, application review, and will check your references. Prior experience caring for Persians/Himalayans is preferred but not required in all cases. An adoption fee of $200-$450, depending on the extent of pre-adoption medical expenses incurred. Please be patient with us.
In 2009, we adopted a cat from you named Mighty Mouse. He is now known as Kirby and I realized it has been a very long time since I updated you on him. He is now 14 and has been a joy in our lives. He spends his days running around like a maniac, eating a lot of food and then sleeping only to wake up and start it again.
We were founded in 1990 to help with placement and care of unwanted and abused Persian cats. In 1990, a Persian cat named "Rudy" was left at the cat grooming shop of Wanda Roe. The caregiver did not return for Rudy. So, Wanda found a new home for Rudy with one of her grooming clients. Having been able to place Rudy so quickly, Wanda thought of Maureen Munns, who ran Persian Rescue in Livermore, and offered to place some of her Persian Rescues.
