WORST customer service ever! Trying to solve a a problem over the phone concerning insurance and a mistake THEY made. Got LOTS of attitude, not listening and I was hung up on twice. Though the vets and vet techs at this facility are excellent, based on the poor customer service I Would NOT recommend this place of business especially if customer service is important to you!

Used to bd my regular vet but if they can't fit you in when the there is an emergency- what's the point? The drs are good but did not care for the receptionist. She is more concerned with getting off on time than helping long time patients. I am so fortunate to have called Dr Daniels at Pet Hospital of Tierra Santa- wow! What a difference! I left work early snd she saw my girl there. I won't be taking my pets back to Mast even though they are nearby.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank the team at Mast Blvd. They always provided my beloved dog Rosie with great services, prompt response times, affordability, and a sincere caring staff. They were great at helping me navigate to get my dog a timely blood transfusion at another pet ER. Thanks to Dr Thomas for being extremely through in his findings and additional testing. Sadly, my Dog Rosie was euthanized this weekend due to everything Dr Thomas found.

Unfortunately she did have an autoimmune disease and was unable to show improvement with the transfusion and ran into more issues with her lungs and was suffering. I do highly recommend Dr. Thomas and his team in Santee. We had a few prior visits that always exceeded my expectations. Thanks again.

I can't say enough about Dr. Singh and his team (special shout-out to Christine and Tori). After our dog stopped eating, had muscle weakness, and multiple other symptoms, we took him to another local vet in the area. They ran some tests on him and saw that his kidney/liver numbers were off, and basically went with the approach of "treat everything and hope it's nothing." They sent us home with a bunch of medication and we just had to hope for the best.

This really didn't sit right in my gut and I knew that I wanted to get a second opinion. I called Mast Blvd and explained the situation, and they told us we could absolutely bring him in the next day. They were so comforting over the phone and already made me feel better about bringing our boy in. Dr. Singh reviewed all of the testing and blood work done by the previous vet, and immediately noticed MULTIPLE and SERIOUS issues that were previously missed and not brought to our attention.

He told us his suspicions and what he wanted to test for. While we waited for the tests to come back to confirm, they were able to keep our boy comfortable, and from what we saw, he was VERY loved on. Within 24 hours, Dr. Singh was able to diagnose and treat our sweet Charlie. Had we not brought him in, we probably would have lost him within 24 hours.

We will now be forever customers of Dr. Singh and his team. We are SO grateful that Charlie will be loved and very well cared for when we bring him in for his monthly treatments. THANK YOU MAST BLVD!

I went in 6/13/22 around 7PM and asked if there was anyone available to check my dog, they said not until Thursday so I left to other places who were also unavailable but recommended an e collar (cone) for my dog. I recalled upon walking into this location the lady in front of me was given an e collar. I called around 7:45 asking if I can go back and get one, she put me on hold twice just to say no I couldn't have one.

I was desperately seeking aid for my dog who was in such bad shape, driving from place to place. Really unhelpful place, I understand medical attention wasn't an option but at least an e collar which was given to someone else but refused to me. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

They are the best bet in town. They are fair and good to our fur babies. We were told at my dog "regular" to get them to recheck out German Sheppard who was not getting better after they looked at her they told me no openings till 6/10 that was over two weeks from that date and our baby was getting sicker so I called the vet I use for our Pomeranian and not only did the make a baby all better they did not try to up sell us ton of others things like other vet did. I love this vet

They took very good care of my dogs.the dr and staff did an excellent job, especially when having to deal with my toothie little dog.this place is well kept and had no problem getting last minute late appointments

Went here because most of the reviews are good and most importantly pricing and care where at my upmost consideration. My cat had a tooth removed and was told the swelling that was there prior to the tooth removal would go down but never did. I also thought it was a tooth removal but after asking for the tooth that was removed apparently it broke into pieces.

After that she seemed in great shape but the swelling never went down. I took her back for an annual visit, she was 15. All was good by the test results but she slowed down her eating, they didn't seem as concerned as I was. I asked again for a recommendation for increasing her appetite and was given something but it did not help. Her legs gave out one night and by the next day at 11am she passed, October 26th 2020.

I called Mast the night her legs gave out and they said to bring her to the closest hospital but did not say with urgency. I should've just taken her, asap. After doing my own research I found that when this happens to your kitty you can only prolong the situation. Just remember to give her your love as much as possible because others won't care as much as you do.

I recached out to them again and about what could've caused such a quick turn of events after a "healthy checkup" from the doctor and was finally given a response 2 weeks after from a vet assistant then the doctor but it did not explain why, only what it could've been. Then got sent a condolence card with a bunch of signatures and responses from people who did not interact with Cleo or myself.

Only one I saw was sincere since she was the person who I met and spoke to. I found it difficult to trust a place that you never see the main Vet and half hearted responses are worst than just not saying anything.

I cannot put in words how much we appreciate all the love and care all the drs and staff have shown to our beautiful Honu. When our regular nearby vet couldn't see her for what was obviously an urgent matter, Mast Blvd Pet got her in right away. They've continued to help us problem solve and they accommodate all her special needs.

The doctors are amazing, they work with you, teach you how to care for your unwell pet, the nurses are all very good and very caring, they don't charge for unnecessary things and they really do care about your pets. Recently we delt with Dr Thomas and he was a very caring Vet and did all he could fit my mom's dog, if you need a great veterinarian then go here

So helpful! My pup had hurt her paw and I had bought an e-collar from petsmart but she tore that one apart. i needed a new e-collar for my dog and called to ask for a one and they were able to provide me one and helped me also put it on my pup.

First appointment with a couple of cats that Inherited from my best friend. Clean bill of health, some vaccines to be sure because I didn't get any documentation with the cats. They staff took great care with Moonshine and Martini. While it may take Martini longer to forgive me than Moonshine, everyone is back home, safe and sound.

I had an appointment for a basic check up and am still waiting to check out an hour and a half later. A couple folks that came in after us (one without an appointment) have already come and gone. The vet was "in surgery" yet managed to see the other folks. Nice tech & vet but the wait is too much.

The Staff are friendly and great with our fur babies. The Vet is very knowledgeable and open to questions and concerns of all kinds. If ur fur baby needs special food like our pug they got it stock 90% even during the supply chain shortages. I take all 5 of our fur babies here moderately priced with great care and professionalism.

This place SUCKS. They let me down in the worse way, at the expense of my soul-pup. When I say "they" It is in regards to the doctors. This hospital is growing, which is great, but they're losing the relationship aspect with clients/pets. It's all about the turn around and not the pet, in my opinion. I'd like to also state the day before my pet passed, the vet OD my pet with hydrocodone syrup, they marked it 1.2mg instead of.5mg, the doctor never got on the phone to apologize for this mistake just had the receptionist apologize for his mistake. With that said, myself and my family will be finding another veterinarian. Bye.

Terrible and rude staff. They purposely with holding my pets records and will not transfer them to my new pet hospital. They do not care about the animals and are unprofessional. One of their doctors came out and recommended medicine for my dog and gave me an obscene recommendation that could have seriously hurt my dog and I refused to pay for the bad advice and since then they have been purposely withholding my dogs vet xrays for her to get her heart medication.

I recommend no one come to this place they dont care about the fact that it's a life and death situation the manager is more concerned about "sticking it to me" than the health of my dog who been a regular for years. I will be reporting the management and staff to the owner and anyone else I can report this mistreatment of my animals and myself for their unprofessional behavior.

Love this vet! They're all so kind and sweet! I love taking all my dachshunds here! So grateful for an amazing team!

Great pet hospital! My daughter has bee taking her dog here for a few years now and mine for about a year. For non emergency appointments we can be seen within the week or even a few days. They are quick to retrieve your pet at the outdoor check in. They are not expensive and are very thorough. Staff is friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend

I went to a different pet hospital the night before I took my boy to this hospital. Let me tel you. I was super upset at the other place because they didn't make me feel like my dog was a priority. They let other pets before him w no appointment made or anything. They just simply let us wait for 4 1/2 hours. I called for the last time and they said to walk and I waited again for another hour for the doctor to enter the room.

I decided it can wait another night and I'll take them to mast since I took my cat here before and I figured it would be nice to have familiarity. Not only when I showed up they were perfect with my reactive German pup but they only had me wait 15 and NOTICED it was an emergency to help him. We're stilling training my German so it's a process but he needed it done asap.

Thank you MAST blvd pet hospital for helping my pet and making him a priority when no one else was. He is now healthy and doing so much better than he was when it first happened.

Dunno what happened been going here for 10 years for all my pets and the customer service and waiting has gone down hill

My little dog was in bad shape. They got him in and did tests and diagnosed him and treated his condition quickly. Everyone of the staff and Dr Deep was extremely kind, professional, listened to my every word. I am very thankful for Mast Pet Hospital!

This place is full of wonderful staff who are always super happy to see my and my dog. They take such good care of my dog that she gets excited each time we pull up and isn't hesitant at all to follow the techs inside. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly and courteous. Since I can't be inside with my dog, they call and provide updates whenever there's one to be made. I've been coming here for everything from eye surgery to infection to flea/tick control.

The veterinarians and techs are extremely thorough when going over the discharge paperwork, including what to look for and general at home care instructions. They have the best hours and are open late and I'm able to get an appointment typically within 48 hours for non-urgent issues. For general questions, I know I can count on getting an answer over the phone from an experienced member of the staff. I've had experiences at other vets where a general inquiry results in "Okay, well let's schedule you an appointment to get her checked out".

But not here. they'll exercise the resources that they have at their disposal to prevent you from coming in if they don't see that it's necessary. so basically. they don't try to nickel-and-dime you, and that's such a comforting feeling as well. Overall - 10/10. Love the staff, but more importantly, I love how they love my dog.

Animals care is always a stressful situation. My cat has been on prescription food for nearly 10 yrs. Suddenly, our previous Veterinarian's office refuses to renew the prescription, we are out of Cat food and they don't have an appointment for 5+weeks. My husband immediately called the Mast Blvd Pet Hospital and was greeted with a friendly voice who was extremely helpful.

They had an appointment for us within 9 days and being that we were new patients this had us very relieved. We have decided to permanently transfer all of our pets to Mast Blvd Pet Hospital. As far as cost goes. I think they are fairly reasonable.

I would highly recommend this vets office to anyone seeking medical attention for their pets. They really helped my little dog with the best care. Every person I came in contact with was amazing. I really appreciate the care and concern they had for my dog!

During the pandemic we got a new puppy. Our vet was out due to being sick with covid. We wanted to make sure that we kept our puppy up to date on his shots as well as have him checked out. We chose Mast pet hospital because it was close to where we live and our neighbors go there. We had them check out our puppy and give him his first shot and when the technician came out she recommended the puppy insurance plan.

We went ahead and bought it and signed up then and there. Well it seemed like everytime we took him in for anything other then his vaccines we were charged for something additional. And I completely understand that not everything is not covered but what I hate more than anything is to be quoted a price and then I show up to pick up my dog and they call you in your car to collect payment and it's a completely different amount and when you ask them about it they give you that attitude like ummm do you not care about your pet enough to pay for this.

Like PLEASE! Don't you dare give me that tone. I have the insurance for reason. Quote accurately and you will have people less likely to give you attitude when you finally after 35 minutes of playing put me on hold games and holding my dog hostage games less likely to want to throat punch you!

My last Yelp account got deleted. The hours are great here! They care about your animals. Before covid they were always nice and helpful. During covid you call and wait in your car and they come out to ask what's going on and take your animal inside. Dr calls After and goes into detail about next steps. They do accept CareCredit.
