I found Dr. Tom and her staff a few years ago when I was looking for rattlesnake avoidance training for my Lab and it was being held at their site. I started taking my dogs (and then our cat) to her and have always been very satisfied. She is thorough and caring. She also works with a rescue I volunteer with and always has our dogs' best interest at heart.

Dr Tom and her team are knowledgeable, warm and friendly! We've been going to them for years and will continue to do so with every new four-legged member of our family.

Love Singing Hills and the care they provide! After my previous vet was unable to get my sick and injured dog looked at(over a month wait), Singing Hills was able to get him looked at the next day with open arm's and started on a treatment right away! They treat pets and owners like a family and look out for the best interests for the pet and owner. They will forever be my primary vet for my dog.

My dogs stayed at the resort for about 4 days. They took really great care of them and were very polite. I will leave my dogs there again.

They are amazing and care about their patients, Dr. Tom is the best vet I've ever had. Even though they are short staff they still greet you with a smile. highly recommend

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and confidence inspiring Dr. Hayes. It was definitely worth the extra drive. My equine vet highly recommended this vet practice.

Dr. Tom and the staff always have our best interests at heart. They, like all the rest of us have been through quite a traumatic year. We always know they will give Cruzer and the rest of our pet family great care and all the attention they can. Thanks for all the great service Dr. Tom and staff!

We have used this vet for over 3 years with satisfactory experiences until several issues recently. When trying to book an appointment for our pet for an issue, we were told the first available appointment was 2-3 weeks out. We were forced to call around to different vets to find someone to see our pet as we could not wait that long (but the issue was not severe enough to warrant an emergency vet).

Most recently, we had boarding scheduled over Christmas and we got a call 2 WEEKS before the holiday (only 1 week before the reservation began) that they were cancelling and did not provide any solution other than giving us a number of another facility (that was, not surprisingly, already fully booked). I would NOT recommend this vet to anyone at this time due to their poor service and severe unreliability. We are not going back.

I have had a wonderful experience with this vet. We got a new puppy and wanted to try out a new vet. Singing Hills provides a great puppy package. The staff was so friendly and professional that I decided to bring my older dog in as well for help with her allergies. Dr Ralph has been able to suggest new allergy treatments that other doctors haven't tried. He also always offers to see my dogs at my car. I am so happy that I gave this vet a try!

I've been seeing Dr. Tom at Singing Hills Animal Hospital for a few months now and I can say with confidence she is the best vet I've ever had. She is SO kind, knowledgeable, and filled with genuine concern about her patients and their owners. I first came upon them through great word of mouth and also because our usual vet (VCA) was unable to take our pup in for an emergency visit.

I was so impressed with the quality of care at that one visit that I immediately switched all of our animals care over to Dr. Tom, and I have seen SIGNIFICANT improvement with many of our animals' chronic conditions. I will say they are a little pricy compared to some vets out there, but the quality of care is 100% worth it. I love having a vet who actually explains to me WHY she is performing certain tests or procedures instead of throwing words around and expecting us to front the bill.

It makes me feel involved in the care which I really value from a health provider. Honestly I wish she saw human patients because I would love to have her as my doctor! The rest of the staff are also wonderful and so so kind. Once I was overlooked for an appointment and ended up waiting around for a bit (totally fine as we had to reschedule last minute) but once one of the staff realized, she was so apologetic and sweet about it. 15/10!!

Dr. Tom is very thorough in her exams, and the animals sure like her. She is a great vet, and the clinic gets me in within a day almost every time. Close to home got me too. Great place!

My vet of 20 years moved to Northern California. I followed him wherever he set up practice in San Diego County even if it meant I had to drive an hour. Sadly, northern CA was obviously out of question. I had taken my newly adopted shelter cat to Singing Hills Animal Hospital as part of the free vet follow up after adoption. Dr. Tom was great...took her time with us and educated me on the care my new carpet would need.

After my vet moved, I decided rather than drive the 45 minutes to his clinic to see his partner, I decided to establish a relationship Singing Hills Animal Hospital. Dr. Appel became our vet. He knew my old vet and said, “I have some big shoes to fill.”
My dog and cat have been going to Singing Hills Animal Hospital for 3 years and I would have to give Dr. Appel and his team 5 stars.

I have referred a few friends to Singing Hills (one sees Dr. Tom and one see. Dr. Appel, and one sees both) and they love the vets. My cat purrs through his whole exam which makes it difficult for Dr. Appel to hear his heartbeat so I think the cat would give 5 stars!

A big thank you to Dr. Appel and all the great care he has taken with our whole brood. We recently had to have our 15 year old kitty euthanized and Singing Hills made the experience less traumatic. Having a separate, comfortable space with it’s own entrance took some of the stress out of it. Having plenty of time with our kitty helped, too. Thanks again to all of you!!

This hospital is the cleanest hospital that I've ever worked! I was welcomed by the staff with open arms! I am very excited about bringing my massage and cold laser therapy skills to help treat the pets. My goal in life is to make our pets feel better. No animal should feel pain!

What an amazing veterinarian and staff! Truly top notch all the way. From routine visits to emergencies, we have always been elated to have our girl in their caring, competent hands. Because of their attention and compassion, our dog survived an emergency recently and is only with us because of the efforts of these fine folks. I would 100% recommend The Singing Hills Animal Hospital for any/all veterinarian needs.

A friend of mine recommended me this place after I told her I was worried about my dog and the vet I took him to said he was fine. This place saved my life... my usual vet kept turning me away when I knew something was up with my dog and on my first visit here (cheapest exam I've ever had and I've had 10 dogs total) the lovely veterinarian knew what was wrong right away and put me on the right track to keep my baby boy Nars happy and healthy. They actually care here and are knowledgeable... 20/10 I recommend this place I wish I knew of it with all my other dogs.

We took our beloved Molly (rotty) to Singing Hills Vet hospital on Saturday afternoon, we felt she might have an infection. I called and was told if I can bring her within 15min they would be able to see her, if not she would be fine until Monday ( which YES she would've, she had been fine that afternoon, morning, days, and weeks prior)
Our dog was so happy, hopping around, "talking" to her dad as to tell him to hurry up and lets go for a ride.

They went and came home with some very expensive medication ( didn't think twice about it, as we trusted that they knew what they were doing and this was going to help our Molly Bear and that's all that mattered to us. My boyfriend gave Molly aka Miss. Magoo the first dose of the medication prescribed. .... Within ONE hour our Molly couldn't walk, couldn't lift her head, her eyes glazed over, and she couldn't hear us, nor see us, I asked my boyfriend" once this medicine wears off, shes going to be ok babe right?" He answered yes, I hope so.

She was panting heavily, then her breathing slowed down too low, I started to cry ( not wanting to see her like that but still thinking she was going to be ok) I came in the house cleaned my face went back out within 1 minute, I then saw my boyfriend giving our MISS. MAGOO CPR, pleading with her to wake up, again let me remind you that our Molly Bear was doing fine.

My boyfriend didn't leave her side, she was more than a dog to us, she was our family, she was my boyfriends best friend, when I was able to compose myself I called Dr. Toms, she was nice over the phone, I asked if our Molly could've had an allergic reaction to this medication and was told absolutely not, nope no way possible, at that moment I thought to myself dogs CAN be allergic to medications just as humans can be.

We are just beside ourselves, in shock and heatbroken to say the least. I then look up the medication and this medication is not recommended for large breeds. Monday morning my boyfriend Shaun goes to Singing Hills to get some answers, he was told there's nothing that they can do ( well no, not now there's nothing you can do, our dog is gone) however, we want answers, compassion, acknowledge that that was the wrong choice of medication.

He left there with no answers, in the mean time I was on the phone calling other local veterinarians, all told me the medication given is not recommended for large breeds and is usually a last choice medication, unless exact illness is known and how to treat. I then call Singing Hills Vet hospital, I told them what I found out and the research I've done, after about 10min of explaining what happened and how we felt, I was then told " if I have BEEF, take it up with the medication company"
I am blown away at how this Veterinary hospital conducts business, how they speak to people, they truly showed no comparison for our loss, nothing at all.

We have 3 little children that are heart broken and missing their sissy, crying their little hearts out.... Our family is heartbroken, we know if we would've never taken our Miss. Magoo to Singing Hills, she would still be with us
We understand that if it was an allergic reaction, how was anyone to know, but we also understand if our Molly was given a medication that is not for large breeds then , YES we want answers.

I did call the medication company, there is an open case and it is being investigated, and the Doctor that works for the medication company said YES, an animal CAN have an allergic reaction, just like a human.
