Highly recommend. They aren't over priced and all of the staff is very friendly. Their sister location in Bedford is also great.

They were empathetic when we had to put our 20 year old cat down. But they did not give us ink impressions of her paws, and her name was not put on the urn. Instead of fixing this, they just wanted to pass me off to the company who did the service. Not happy.

In comparison to other local vets this office is much more affordable, they do not nickel and dime you, and most importantly they are completely honest. What I like most about this office is that they do not make you come in for unnecessary visits just to make a charge! Dr. Komma's compassion and expertise goes unmatched! I would highly recommend this veterinarian office for all of your loved animals. As an extra benefit this is a beautiful facility.

My poor beagle had a double ear infection, and his current vet wouldn't see him because its been over a year. Anyhow. I called them on a Monday morning and had him in by Wednesday, with him being a new patient. The staff was wonderful, and they beared with the loud howling that my dog wouldn't stop doing. They were all great, from checking to checking out.

Terrible staff. Terrible doctors. Terrible customer service. Stay far far away. All this place he cares about is the money. They won't service my pet anymore because I get frustrated with them because everything is always talk to our management and then nothing gets done. Nobody ever calls you back and they take forever to submit any records. They're lazy, useless, typical inbred New Englanders. Go across the street to Hudson animal hospital. They'll serve Your needs much better. And they have a genuine attitude towards actually wanting to help animals.

In February of 2021, we took our five-year-old Golden Retriever, Lily, to get a TPLO surgery by Dr. Powers. We were originally scheduled to get it done at our primary vet but because of COVID/scheduling delays, we had to go here (which we later realized was the worst decision we could have made). Lily received her surgery but was not healing properly although she had very limited activity for over 5 months.

Full recovery for a TPLO is typically 6 months, and you should see noticeable differences month over month as we were told, which we did not. In June of 2021, after telling Dr. Komma we have not seen any progress, we were told to bring Lily to physical therapy. We did 10 sessions initially and once that was complete, they had mentioned that Lily could go back to normal life. However, every time Lily would run/walk more than 30 minutes a day, she would start limping again.

They recommended another round of physical therapy so we did another 10 sessions. Again, we did not see any improvement. In January of 2022, we took her in for another appointment because after 20 sessions of physical therapy and almost a year later, she wasn't doing any better than when she tore her ACL initially. Dr. Komma said that Lily had "extreme arthritis, " which was the cause of her lameness and limping (and never once mentioned that her meniscus was torn, there could be an issue with her surgery, etc.). Dr. Thibodeau also recommended acupuncture, which could help her issues because she has "back pain." They also mentioned that she should be treated as a new client since it had been a year, and this was no longer related to her TPLO surgery.

After hearing this and following their directions for over a year with no results, we decided to get another opinion at CAVES. After speaking to the doctor at CAVES, we found out that Lily had a completely torn meniscus (which Dr. Komma later told us that Dr. Powers repaired her meniscus instead of removing it initially), and that she still had 25% of her ACL still intact, which was shocking and disturbing to hear. Lily had been going to physical therapy and walking on the treadmill/performing numerous exercises with a fully torn meniscus, which is extremely painful and also what they contributed to just being arthritis.

I had reached out to Dr. Komma to tell her our concerns, given that we were given completely false information, and it ultimately resulted into her doing nothing. Our dog was not in the best care even after spending thousands of dollars here, and we would never recommend this vet, especially for TPLO surgery. Do not buy into their gimmicks of special treatments like we did, as there is most likely a different underlying issue.

Our dog got the remaining 25% of her ACL and meniscus removed at CAVES and even after 5 weeks post-recovery, she is doing better than ever. She is back to running, walking daily, and does not have any lameness. I have never written a negative review but feel obligated to because of the lack of care my dog received and hope that others think twice before coming here.

My 5 yr female dog was lethargic and staggering yesterday in the morning which terrified me. I called my usual vet and was told they were too short staffed to see her! They advised me to take her to Manchester. I was getting ready to run her to Manchester when I thought of the beautiful new Veterinary office down the street. I called them and the owner/ Veterinarian Dr. Komma answered the phone and even though we were not existing clients she agreed to see my girl immediately. Dr. Komma was professional, compassionate and cared both for my girl and for her nervous owners! This is my vet from now on!

I was referred here by my regular vet when my dog chipped a tooth. My dog was feral as a puppy, so strangers and vets offices are usually meltdown zones for him. They got me in so fast, set his new patient appointment and surgery for the same day so that he didn't have to be sedated twice, and took care of him like one of their own. Plus, they were very transparent and upfront about potential costs, and given the work that went into it, the cost was super reasonable. Thank you Lowell Rd Vet Team!

My poor little girl dog had what sounded like a cough. She isn't exposed to other dogs so kennel cough was almost 100% not it. The vet said she thought maybe the early stages of heart failure. She gave me options. X-rays, blood work, and talked pricing before doing anything. With the results of one test she gave me more options and prices. Unfortunately it is heart failure.

So there isn't all that much we can do for except give her heart meds, keep her calm to keep blood pressure down, diet and make her comfortable until the time comes when she passes or is suffering and she needs to be put down.
