These guys took very good care of my cat. While she was unable to recover, they showed not only her but love, compassion, and support to me as well. I will echo what others are saying with needing to pay upfront before any treatment is kinda whack, though I have to imagine there's a valid reason for this. Overall I got in at a reasonable time despite it seemingly being short staffed.

I feel really bad writing this but we just spent 3 hours in the waiting room with an untreated open wound that I'm now taking care of at home. Called ahead for the wait time and it was an hour. Ended up leaving since other higher priority cases kept coming in and they're so short staffed that we would probably have never been handled. Sorry for whoever has to clean up the blood in the lobby but more sorry that there are no other facilities open in the area on weekends.

I don't usually write these kind of reviews but if you can't spend more than $800 for routine x rays, bloodwork and examination (no treatment) don't go here. We took our cat who was in a lot of discomfort here for an emergency analysis and they charged us $131 for the vet to touch his stomach and then tell us that they can't treat him because we can't pay $800 for his analysis only.
The nurse tried to be nice and recommend us other locations to take him to that wouldn't turn us away but it just felt like they didn't even want to work with us. I know vet stuff can be pricey and we would pay for our cat to be seen, but we called another emergency clinic and they gave us half the price for treatment and analysis. Case and point, don't go here unless you have the funds they flat out won't consider you and charge you to say "sorry bye" instead. I can't personally speak for their medical performance, This is just so you will be warned going in.

Tried to take my very very sick cat here today. They wanted over 800$ up front for x rays, blood work, Exams. And this does not include further treatment. If you do not have 800+ dollars they will turn you away and still charge you 140$ for the visit. The staff told us there was a place in mass that was cheaper but that was an hour away. Its like she knew they were outragiously expensive and tried to offer us cheaper options.
When we denied further treatment and said we were going to take our cat elswhere the vet seemed offended that we wouldnt continue the 800 plus dollars treatment. You should be offended with the pandemic being hard enough NO ONE has 800$ to just throw around. Will not be coming back here even if they are close by.

I have been taking my dogs here for urgent care for many years even when I lived in Lowell. They are one of the few Urgent Care Vet facilities opened 24/7 and on a Sunday in the area. My dog Cooper recently had leg surgery there and Dr. Zitz could not have been better. Very caring (both Dr. and Staff) willing to spend time to fully explain your pets situtation/options. I have had to wait for long periods of time (at times) however this is during a pandemic so lets not confuse an overwhelming influx of patients with lack of caring.

Great team! Knew Scooby was in good hands! It was tough with Covid 19, but even thou I could not visit Scooby (who had his front leg amputated), I felt like I was with the pictures and videos the staff sent me. I highly recommend Dr. Zitz and her team! @bawstondawg on IG Update 10/12/21 : 18 months later and Scooby is still going strong with Osteosarcoma!

I cannot say enough about the compassion and care provided here to my dog Shadow. Every team member I met or spoke with was exceptional. Dr. Bishop is the best and the other vets I have seen for him (and my other pets) here have been wonderful as well. They have always been there for me and I cannot say thank you enough. Shadow woke up a new dog today and I'm thankful for him to now be comfortable in whatever amount of days I have left with him. Thank you all!

We had to drop off our sweet new puppy here to be evaluated for a stomach issue. The staff was SO genuine, kind, and we knew our Charlie was in great hands! There was a shift change while he was there getting evaluated and both vets that worked with Charlie were so communicative, honest, and loving when discussing tests and treatment options. We knew he was in great hands and in the future plan to make this vet campus our home for all of Charlie's needs. Thank you so much AMCNE!

My dog, who is a 100lb+ Lab, Rottweiler and German Shepherd mix, has needed to have 2 separate surgeries to repair torn tendons in his right and left rear legs. The surgeries were a year apart, and each time the professionalism, and work that was provided at AMCONE was exceptional. Dr. Zitz performed both surgeries, and she is friendly, caring, and perfecting in her surgeries.
I cannot speak highly enough about her. My dog is not welcoming to other people, and yet the staff were able to bond with him, and provide care and comfort he accepted after both surgeries. I have used the services of AMCONE for over 10 years now, with all of my dogs, and not once have I ever been dissatisfied.

My 6 1/2 year old flat-coated retriever, Ruby, had a partial ACL tear. Dr. Zitz and the staff at AMCNE had Ruby evaluated quickly, spent the time with me that I needed to make the right decisions for her care and scheduled her quickly for her ACL repair. The care she got there was awesome and the hand-holding that I received to help manage her post-operative care and rehabilitation is so greatly appreciated. Ruby and I are so appreciative. She has had an uneventful recovery and we look forward to her upcoming summer beach walks.
