We have a full range of options to help, should your pet become ill. We have a full in-house laboratory that allows us to run about 90% of any needed bloodwork here. Our radiology department includes a digital table top x-ray machine as well as a dental x-ray machine. These machines give us the ability to take high quality radiographs of.

Mike grew up in a small farming town in Oklahoma. He attended college at the University of Kansas and Oklahoma State University where he graduated in 2003 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Mike worked in a mixed animal practice for 3 years and then he decided to open Arbor Creek Animal Hospital in 2006.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Specifically Dr. Matt Mayerske, the vet techs and front desk staff. We rescued our 1.5 yr old puppy and found out that he had pneumonia and tapeworm! Scared and upset, I called Arbor Creek and they were happy to squeeze me into their schedule early. My pup had to be hospitalized for 2 nights and Dr. Matt was so kind and communicative with me throughout the entire process.
He even went in during off hours to check on my dog over night. Arbor creek is not only AMAZING at treating and caring for pets but they are AMAZING at taking care of their human clients as well. During the entire process I felt so comforted knowing that my dog was in great care. I will never be going to another vet again! Dr. Matt and staff, I cannot thank you enough.

Dr. Tarrant is the only vet I have met that will take as much time as needed to answer any and all questions. He has never rushed us, he has never come across as in a hurry, he patiently explains everything and in a way that folks without a medical degree will understand. He doesn't use jargon, big lingo, he simplify all issues, procedures and explanations.
Every time my husband & I leave any appointment ( regular checkups, shots, or otherwise ) we say to each other on the way home.... Love love love Dr Tarrant, such an amazing guy and incredible vet❣ IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR OR NEEDS A NEW VET, go see Dr. Tarrant at Arbor Creek Animal Hospital in Olathe 913-764-9000 HE is who you want to go see and have caring for your dog, cat, mouse, bird, rabbit, snake, guinea pig, etc. etc. etc.😊

A huge shoutout to Dr Tarrant and staff who operated on our golden retriever on Christmas Eve. Dr Tarrant wasn’t even scheduled to work that day but came in to take care of Lexy. What was expected to be a 1.5 hour surgery ended up being 4 hours with part of her intestines being removed as well as large chunks of a towel. I’m happy to report she is now doing amazing thanks to the wonderful care she received from Dr Tarrant and his team. We’ve been taking our pups there for 8 years and will be for many more. So grateful for this amazing team of veterinary professionals!

Casey our groomer with Arbor Creek Animal Hospital is the absolute best! We have known her for several years and have so much trust and faith in her each time we leave our pups with her for grooming. Our dogs are rescues and come with their anxieties and are not always the best behaved. Casey shows them nothing but love and patience, offers advice to help eases their stresses and they always come out at the end of their groom wagging their tails looking amazing and perfect! I would never consider another groomer than Casey, she definitely has a special gift in what she does!!

I just want to take a quick minute and share my experience with Arbor Creek AH. I have had the hardest time finding veterinary care that I love and feel comfortable leaving my fur babies with. They all seem fine at first but then... true colors come out. First Arbor Creek was recommended to me. My 13 yr old kitty got sick, I thought it was a cold.
I got to know Arbor Creek pretty quickly. It ended up my beloved kitty had bone cancer and had to be put down. I’m still heart broken but Dr Tarrant was awesome and patient and caring, and Dr Smith returned my call to help me when Dr Tarrant was out of town. If you’re looking for a caring clinic, please don’t hesitate to give them a call.
