If you are in Brockton or the Boston area and need dental cleaning or care for your dog or cat, please contact us. As in humans, pets' teeth need regular care. Dogs and cats require similar teeth cleaning to us, except that sedation is required. Because of this we tend to wait longer than the six-month interval that is common in people.
If you are in Brockton or the Boston area and need diagnostic ultrasound for your dog or cat, please contact us. Ultrasound of a dog or cat's abdomen is very valuable in diagnosing a variety of conditions. It is one of the most accurate ways to find the presence of a growth or tumor in the abdomen, even at an early stage.

The worst experience I've ever had. My dog Sophie went here for 18 years. Service was poor and didn't have the courtesy to even send a card after we put her down recently. Will never be using them again. Extremely unprofessional not engaging to my dog or myself. Will be finding new vet for our new dog.

The best vets I've met in my life! Professionals and still friendly with us and our pets! Most important my dog was always happy after visiting them.

Twenty years and two dogs later, there is no where else that I would bring my pets (family members). Not only are they are the most knowledgeable to care for my dogs, but they are very kind and compassionate. Both my dogs needed surgery through the years, I was always called back the same day after the surgery and the next to see how my Sweetie and Lipton were fairing post surgery. The round trip from my home to Brockton is at least an hour or more, on a good day, but there is no where else that I would bring my family members.

I had to take our dog for his annual exam a few weeks ago and had a great experience. I called when I arrived to the office. A tech who was wearing a mask came out and took my dog in for the visit, and brought him back out after the visit. Dr. Huffenus came out (also with a mask) and explained what had transpired during his visit and asked if I had any questions, and answered all my concerns.

After that, payment was taken by another tech who came out and I was on my way. The experience was smooth and uncomplicated. The entire office has worked very diligently to keep their staff, the clients and our fur babies safe and healthy. Kudos Brockton Animal Hospital....u rock as always. Thank u for everything u do now during this pandemic and always.

Not as great as the news portrayed them to be. It's money over people at this place. We're told we can't go inside with our pets which I get at this time but I guess the boss makes an exception if you throw a fit. It's a small place and I pray for the staff members who are being put at risk. Better off going to a larger veterinary hospital that is better equipped and quite frankly better managed to safely care for their own workers as well as you and your pets.

Best Vet around! Our dog Bailey passed about a year ago. She had been sick for sometime but the great care she received from Brockton Animal Hospital gave our family a few more years with Bailey. I have no doubt we would have lost her several years earlier with out BAH.

Brockton Animal Hospital is awesome. They care about their patients and their owners. I recently had occasion to need help making a difficult decision in an emergency situation and they were there for me. That doesn't happen as often as it should in this world. I am grateful for the great treatment, the time taken to give me information to treat my dog, the care and concern and the truly nice people who work there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of it.

I have been going to BAH for probably over 30 years now. Even though I don't live as close as I used to - I continue to bring my dogs there. The Vets & staff are always professional, knowledgeable & so caring. I have utmost confidence in the treatment my dogs get there. They are like my children & i would not want to entrust their care to anyone else.

My family has been taking our pets to Brockton Animal Hospital for years, and despite being closer to other animal clinics, I choose to continue to get care for my pets at BAH. They've always shown exemplary care and have helped me work through and manage a myriad of illnesses my cats have suffered from. I appreciate their concise and clear communication, and most of all, their patience.

I'll never forget how they took the time to talk with me when I called them a few days after having to put my cat to sleep! I always feel like they are working in the best interest of their furry clients, and I have complete confidence in the care we get from the amazing staff at BAH!

Dr. Hirschberg has been treating my cats since around 1982. There's no place better. The entire staff is kind and concerned. The medical care is state of the art.

My parents took our German shepherd Athena here and I know take my Manchester Terrier Jasper. They are great with the animals very patient, kind and understand to both the pets and their owners. They take the time to listen to you and thoroughly explain everything from what they think the diagnoses is to what it could be. They also give you lots of info on things your pet may need and things to help you better afford to take care of your pet.

They don't force anything on you just simply explain your options and their opinion of it. When we put Athena down they were very gentle with her and us. They gave us the time to say goodbye and to grieve once it was done. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

All the doctors, vet techs and support people are great. They are so patient and understanding and go to great lengths to answer all your questions, address your concerns and explain everything they are doing no matter how much time it takes. We have been bringing our pets to Brockton Animal Hospital for 35 years. I highly recommend it.

I have brought my animals to Brockton Animal Hospital for over 28 years now. I appreciate the vast knowledge that the veterinarians have and their ability to diagnose what illness, disease or medical issue my pet is having usually without a lot of expensive testing. I have had many pets that have had complicated surgical or medicall issues the kinds of issues that are not common.

These veterinarians have performed miracles surgically for my animals on more than one occassion. They are knowledgeable and up to date on current treatments and protocols and have modern equipment including laser therapy that has helped many animals. The staff is alway professional and friendly. I have never had a bad experience. They answer their phones and get back to you in a timely manner if necessary.

I have always been very impressed with the way they treat my animals. I did move further away from their office but I continue to commute as I trust them with the care of my animals. When you find a great doctor with a great staff you stick with them because exceptional service and trust is hard to find these days. They really care about their clients and it shows.

Recently my first visit was with my 15 year cat Romeo who was very ill. Everyone was so kind to us. I had to make the difficult decision to have my cat euthanized and all of the staff treated my cat like royalty. Even though my heart was broken they all made me feel that I had made the right decision. A few days later I received a sympathy card in the mail from Brockton Animal Hospital! I would highly recommend this office
Thank you to all of the staff for recognizing we were losing a part of our hearts!

My dog was limping for longer than I thought for just a minor bruise or strain. Brought him to the vet we always used, the VCA in Weymouth. We weren't big fans of the place because we know they are over priced but it's so close to our house. They took him for the day and examined and X rayed him. They called my wife later in the day and told her he tore his ACL in both of his hind legs. Said the surgeries would be at least $2400 per leg.

They tried to get her to schedule them right then but she was freaked out and called me. I picked up our pup and told them I'm getting a second opinion. I brought him to Brockton Animal because I lived in Brockton and had brought pets here in the past and knew they were very reasonable and honest. After examining him the doctor said it's only his back left leg and the procedure was almost half the cost. Needless to say I was pretty upset.

We only go to Brockton now regardless of travel. Our dogs are much more comfortable there there and you can tell the Vets really love animals. I can only imagine what the VCA would have done if we booked the surgeries with them...would they cut open his good leg and sew it up to make it look like they did something? These places are operating unchecked and are getting away with it. We need accountability in this field as it is getting more and more expensive and out of hand. I'm thankful I found Brockton Animal Hospital.
