SAF has been our vet for many, many years. They are extremely attentive to our needs, knowledgable, and supportive. Our dogs actually get excited when we pull the car up to the building. We have adopted a rescue from them and entrusted them with the care of our canine babies. How lucky we are to have them!

Just dropping in to say how amazing the team at SAF is! We moved away from New Orleans about 18 months ago, and still have yet to find a vet that is as caring and dedicated to our pets as SAF was for us. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog, Lyanna, while we lived in New Orleans!

The people & doctor are awesome and loving and I am glad my pet was In there care I recommended any and everyone to bring there pet there.

I have finally had with this company charging my card without authorization. They are not communicative and then charge you without your permission. They told me to "drop my dog off in the morning if I wanted her to be seen by the vet" and that you would "get her to the vet when they had time." This is after they left me on hold for 10 minutes after telling them my dog had her first seizure and I thought she was dying.

They didn't make me an appointment or tell me a time. I have never missed an appointment, hence why I didn't know their policy was to charge you if you don't choose to come in with no appointment because your dog has been seen by a vet that actually cares. You cannot charge people without telling them the policy. Plain and simple. They have done this to me SEVERAL times.

I have gotten nothing but discourteousness and disrespect from these people who have no regard for the people that are their customers. They are only in it for the money. Beware.

I have been bringing my dog Mardi to SAF for about a year. Dr. LaMarsh has provided excellent and caring treatment to my senior boy. Everyone that I have met there has been very nice, and because of these good experiences, my other pup Jakamo is also now a client.

Made the switch to SAF years ago, when I got tired of paying for my then-vet's new bldg. I have not regretted it once. SAF veterinarians have been nothing short of well-informed, professional, and gentle with my dog. PLUS, and this is a big, barking plus, SAF costs about half of what I was paying previously for his annual shots/checkup. Sick visits are also less expensive. I don't play around with my boy's care, and SAF has always taken great care of him.

Had great care for an ageing community cat. Great staff and vet. Takes a lot of precautions for Covid.

I really like the vets here, my cats have always gotten great care, and they make cost part of the care conversation so I never get surprise bills. I think their prices are pretty reasonable anyway. My only complaint is that they stopped having a separate waiting room for cats and dogs, which I really appreciated because there's no need to frighten or stress out an already unwell cat.

I passionately recommend this place! They really care, they are affordable, and quick, . They seem to love their jobs, and look out for your pets best interest. Love this place.

Absolutely terrible service! No care and compassion, more worried about complaining about their day then helping caring for your pet. Your pet deserves better.

They are amazing! When my baby Shih Tzu "Rock" got attacked by a pitbull they were on it and helped me get him the help he needed thankfully he survived but by just a milli inch he wouldve blead to death! Thank you SAF!

Dr Lamarsh is AMAZING! He did an emergency surgery on my dog for pyrometra, and did a GREAT JOB!! Can not thank him and his staff enough for treating my girl so well and getting her infection out in a super timely matter. Most definitely recommend

SAF was so helpful and went beyond expectations to help me with our workplace cat Houdini . The doctor was very nice and so was the staff. They went above and beyond and worked with me ! I couldn’t have chosen a better place to bring Houdini! Thanks again for everything!!

All the staff is friendly & empathetic. We Southern Animal Foundation! For the last 3 years they have been my ONLY choice for my furbabies care, now my fur niece & nephews go the too! This morning I called with an ear infection for my Sasha and when I told them we had a pack of 5 with unknown exact details on medical status they were more than helpful by getting ALL 5 furbabies in TODAY! THANK YOU so much for taking such great care of us MS Ann!

Never in my life have I met such an amazing team that is genuinely there for the best of my animals. Ms. Ann is an angel and the world needs more humans like her. I am so lucky and so grateful to have found them. I brought My kitten to them and found out she was in kidney failure after being told she “was fine” from another vet. The only reason she made it was due to the kindness and thoroughness of the vets here. I will forever be grateful to them and will never take my pets anywhere else. Ever. Thank you so much all of you at SAF. You are forever in my heart.

I cannot say in words how impressed i am with S.A.F. I did not have an appointment but they managed to squeeze me in. The outcome was not so good for my cat. They were extremely compassionate and let me spend a few last minutes ( as much time as I wanted ) with my little buddy. I would highly recommend them to any one that is in need of a veterinarian. We adopted the sweetest pup from Southern Animal Foundation. From the sleepover, to adoption process and now continued vet care, the staff has been absolutely wonderful! Everyone in the office came out to say good-bye on adoption day. You know you're at the right place when your pup is not afraid, but excited to see the staff when going for a vet visit!

If looking for a pet or to donate to a pet friendly cause look no further than SAF! The work these people do is life changing and The love they have for animals is so genuine and positive!

We are from SC visiting New Orleans and our pet stated an eye infection, we called for an appointment and the staff was able see us the same day. Very professional and very friendly and they resolved our pet problem.
