Westview Animal Hospital has always been my choice for my fur babies. My chihuahua now my new fur baby (Zane) who I adopted from BARCS. He was having some issues Westview scheduled him immediately. Dr. Stephan was very patient and professional. Her assistant was caring and understanding. They both were detailed and very very caring. Thank you always. We appreciate you.

I've had only positive experiences with this clinic over the past 9 years. I've been taking my dog Prince here since we moved to Maryland and we've always felt welcomed and supported. Prince was laid to rest here at age 16 and the staff was so kind and compassionate that it made a very difficult time a little easier to manage. Had my first visit with my new puppy Noah last week and I'm very satisfied with the service we're receiving now as well. Even after moving to Owings Mills I still travel here because of their outstanding service, I highly recommend them!

By far the best animal hospital I've been to. The staff are welcoming, professional, diverse and truly care about your fur baby. In these pandemic times it's been hard to schedule appointments at other animal hospitals, with many not available for weeks and months ahead. Not the case with Westview. Plus it is conveniently located off Route 40 & Dr. D is a USDA certified veterinarian for those who need international travel certificates for their pets. Thank you all for your excellent service!

I have been going to Westview Animal Hospital for many years. I have had nothing but positive experiences there. The staff is amazing and very nice. I've seen every doctor there and they are all great. They know what they are doing and they are kind and informative. Based on my experiences over the years, I would highly recommend Westview Animal Hospital.

Here's my experience with Westview.
We've taken our dog and cats here for their entire lives. Mistakes have happened over the years, screwing up de-worming medicine, etc. I get it, mistakes happen. That being said, we'll be finding a new vet after our recent experience.
Our pup ripped a nail out of his back paw. Couple days went buy, and I called Westview because I was concerned. We had kept it clean and covered, but noticed that it had started to swell and redden. We called Westview 4 hours before they closed. The first person on the phone told us that it sounded serious and we needed to get him in as soon as possible. I told her that I needed to check to verify that we could do that, and I would call her right back.
5 minutes later I called back, a different person told me that they didn't have anything. They were completely booked. I called back again, incredulous, and asked if they could squeeze him in for ten minutes, that we were very concerned. She told me it didn't sound like a big deal, and we could make an appointment in two days. I expressed my displeasure and was assured that the office manager would call me back on Monday. It's Wednesday, still no phone call.
The following evening, we ended up at the Emergency vet. $698 later, with a very sad, very drugged up puppy dog, I really wish that Westview would have cared about our concerns, our dog, and helped us out.
I've never had an experience like that. My parent's vet goes above and beyond for them. My old vet in Salisbury had me bring my cat in when I was the least bit concerned. I get that people get busy and things get crazy, but a ten minute check could have saved us a lot of time, pain, and money. Based on that experience, I would not recommend Westview for primary veterinary care and definitely not for last minute care.
