The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Dr Merrill is like no other doctor. She takes all the time necessary to explain what issues need to be addressed and treats our fur babies with the care as if they were her own. Fantastic!

I am so lucky I met Dr. Merrill when she was subbing at another vet years ago. She, and the other vets at the clinic, have taken such good care of my pets over the past 10 years. My former cat had a ton of health issues and I'm convinced the only reason she was able to live and thrive to an old age is because of Abrams Forest. We've experienced everything from everyday checkups to surgeries with them and they've always gone above and beyond in making sure our fur babies are well taken care of. Highly, highly recommend Abrams Forest!

We had our 17 yr old puppy put to sleep. The staff was very kind; making sure we were all comfortable during the process, bringing us water and not rushing us through. I'm glad our daughter chose this clinic to go to.

Dr Merrill at Abrams Forest Vet is literally the best bet I have ever had! She is kind and thoughtful and handles animals wonderfully. She has taken care of all 3 of my dogs and I have always been impressed with her gentle and wise approach to their health and well being. We love Dr Merrill! Best vet in Dallas!

Abrams Forest and Dr. Merrill are simply the best. I've been a patient of hers for years, despite moving and not living close to the clinic. It's worth the drive and she makes me feel comfortable and empowered as a dog owner. She also provides cost estimates routinely, and provides alternatives to procedures that seem particularly invasive. I trust her and have sent others to her.

Updating my review after three years! Dr Stowe is incredible and listens to my concerns intently and makes sure to answer all of my questions. My cat, Sterling's life has improved exponentially since switching to Abrams Forest Vet Clinic. They were able to diagnose her thyroid disease and kidney disease quickly and help get a treatment plan for Sterling to keep her happy and comfortable. Sterling is close to 18 years old and I'm confident, with Dr Stowe and teams care, I'll have a few more years with my baby! Thank you vet and team!

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Dr. Stickney! She is beyond amazing with all of our dogs and really takes the take to get to know them and their individual needs. Cannot recommend her enough!

Don't know y it says I only gave 1 star if I could I'd give 6.thay have been taking care of my furbaby zannie for many years. Dr Taylor is great and seems to understand that most baby's don't like the vet.ouchy

Great clinic, great Doctors, great staff. They have Hill's and Purina Pro Plan prescription diets. All type of dental treats and regular treats and toys for your pets.

We followed Dr. Allison Merrill from Hillside to Abrams Forest several years ago and have never regretted it. She is knowledgeable, professional, and so loving to our pups. Our pups have been long-lived (20.5, 19.5, 18, 16 years) and I believe that's in large part due to Dr. Merrill and her team, including Christie, Doug, Deborah, Latoya, etc. This is an absolutely wonderful clinic.

They actually go the extra mile and take care of your needs. I'm a first time pet owner and it's clear that they actually take pride in their work and value their relationships with owners and pets. My dog loves to go there now, and never has a hard time with the vets.

If I didn't already live my Vet, I would strongly consider this Clinic. The staff is lovely to deal with!

They took care of my 2 senior kitties in their last few years, and made sure they had a easy transition to the other side.dr taylor was very gentle and caring. Its tough enough to have to put down a pet youve had 16 years, they helped make it as easy a process as it could be. Theyre also reasonable $ wise, more concerned with the animals than just making money. Thank you guys! As soon as i can find a new little one, ill be taking them here!

I have been in the veterinary field myself for almost 2 decades (), so when I look for a vet for my own pets, I'm very particular and a helicopter mom, for sure. I had no hesitation with trusting Dr. Stickney or the supportive staff with my "kids." The front staff is very nice and accommodating, and Dr. Stickney and her techs were confident and knowledgeable.

I felt at ease from the moment I walked in. The clinic smells nice and is nicely organized. The first impression matters a lot to me, so I appreciate a clean clinic. I'm happy to have found a great place to get my pets cared for by the best.

We've been taking our dogs here for a few years now. They are quick, efficient, caring and always give you all the information so you know how to proceed. We use to live right down the street but since have moved to mesquite; we didn't think twice about keeping this vet clinic as our forever vets. The same staff has been there since our first visit and you can tell they love their jobs and are so professional! No matter what the concerns are they are eager to get you in and get our pets taking care of! I highly recommend this place!

I cannot recommend Abrams Forest Vet Clinic enough. We got a new puppy in March and they have been tremendous in her care, answering any questions we have, and fitting her in for easy appointments. Our vet, Dr. Stickley, is hands down the the most professional, caring, and knowledgeable vet. She is so patient in helping us navigate puppy life and is so attentive to our pup when she sees her.

In addition, the front desk and vet technicians are so friendly and always make us feel welcome. We feel so lucky to have them and truly feel we are in great hands for our newest family member.

We absolutely love this vet and so does our pup. Dr. Stowe is incredible and we are so grateful for her! Wonderful people and wonderful facility. We have taken our dog here ever since we got her as a puppy almost three years ago. They have taken such good care of her even through 2 surgeries. Our dog gets so excited when we drive up.

The wait time for this clinic is long. My dog usually doesn't get picked up until 45 min to an hour after the appointment time. I get that they're busy but it's a bit much. I'm trying to understand that due to the pandemic the curbside service may take longer, but they should've adjusted and scheduled appointments according to that slowdown. One thing I do like is that the vets don't try to rush you and try to give you as much information as possible before you make any decision. I've been serviced by two vets here (Dr. Taylor and Dr. Kim) and they've both been helpful. The front desk staff are very friendly as well.

Dr. Stowe must have been an animal in her past life and thats what makes her the best veterinarian in this life. Thanks to you all for taking such good care of my Hunnicut.

The staff is very friendly. The staff cares for your pet and they will tell you what they did or did not find and the treatment if any.

I had a great experience at Abrams Forest Vet clinic. This was my first time visiting AFVC, and I arrived 30 min before closing with my 4yr old Pug, Oslo. I could tell he was not feeling well but I was worried that we would be rushed and not closely cared for. I was wrong. The receptionist Stacy, the Vet Tech-Terry and Dr Allison Merrill were outstanding! Dr Merrill was so sweet and caring, she got down on the floor with Oslo, watched him walk around the entire clinic, did some examinations and ultimately gave him a clean bill of health.

I was not not treated like a new patient, they made me feel more like an old friend. Dr Merrill and all of these wonderful people genuinely care about the pets they see. I highly recommend Dr Allison Merrill. I will be coming here regularly with all my p. Thank you all SO MUCH!

I've been taking my cats to this vet practice for several years now. But they really became important to me in March when my older cat started having some issues. I've been there often since then. Last Saturday it became clear that the best thing to do for my older cat was to end his suffering. During that visit everyone was incredibly thoughtful and kind.

I cannot imagine what more they could have done to help me through that difficult day. Yesterday I received a sympathy card in the mail from them. Just wonderful people. I will be taking my younger cat there for the rest of his life.

I'm have been using Dr. Merrill for the past 15 years. Trust is earned and not given. They have earned my trust. It's time to. letgo for of my loved Maggie.

They have surpassed all of my expectations in a veterinary clinic. Being a first time puppy owner, they have made the vet process so easy and have been so helpful in managing care for my pup! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, I could tell that they were good and trustworthy people the moment I walked in. Dr. Merril is absolutely wonderful.

She answered all of my new puppy questions and more. The examination was very thorough; she had very clear communication with her findings and what our plan would be with my pups healthcare. My pup didn't even whimper once when she administered her vaccination! They also gave a folder full of new puppy resources that have been incredibly helpful! Their online pet portal has also made things super easy regarding exam overviews, when my next appointment should be, lab work, and scheduling. I cannot say enough positive things about this place, I'm so happy to continue my care here!

Dr. Stickley is amazing with my 5 year old little 4lb chihuahua. I called to set an appointment for a teeth cleaning for my lil chih and was told I needed to come in for an office visit prior to setting the appointment. I was able to get in the next day! They have weekend hours which is awesome! Dr. Stickley was very kind and gentle with my chihuahua.

She noticed she was out of date for a few of her shots and let me know when her other shot would be due. She also suggested a heart worm chewable and considering the mosquito population in the south is much different then the northwest I took her suggestion. I was left with an estimate for my chihuahuas teeth cleaning and was able to get her scheduled 2 days later!

When I came home, I saw than my 8 year old rat terrier looked like he went a few rounds with several mme fighters. His face was extremely swollen and I was a scared, panicked momma. I looked this bet clinic and was able to get an appointment within the hour. The vet staff and veterinarian were pleasant and after a check up, informed me than my son was suffering from an allergic reaction.

A steroid shot and a few hours later, my baby's face was staring to look recognizable and that made me feel one hundred percent better! Thank you guys for being able to see my Joseph so quickly and getting him back to his friendly, lap dog self!

I have been taking Bailey, my pup, here for over a year. Abrams Forest Veterinary Clinic offers a low cost vaccination clinic on certain weekends and is well received in the community. The veterinarians are friendly and knowledgeable. All of the employees are so good with my dog Bailey and make an effort to get to know you. I also appreciate how willing they are to send over medical records to me, personally, or to Bailey's doggie daycare. I would recommend Abrams Forest Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a great place that they trust.

Recently moved from Phoenix, AZ and had to find our doggies a new veterinarian. Thankfully, we came across Abrams Forest.

Dr Meyers is absolutely amazing. Answering the million questions I may have, calling us after a few days to check up on the doggies, and even calling us back just from making an appointment to check up on the dogs himself

The staff is super nice and every time I have a question, and Dr Meyers isn't there, they make sure he gets the message and he calls back! I've been to others vets, but not one this.
