Unfortunately our dog Wilson has had to have multiple surgeries over the past few years. Luckily we absolutely LOVE the entire staff at VSS. We trust them completely with our baby Wilson. Dr. Cambridge is our go to for any surgical needs! We love how attentive and passionate they are about their patients. During this last surgery every time we go both nurses Rob & Kelly are always there greeting us with a smile and giving Wilson so much love. We highly recommend VSS. We live in Burbank so it's a drive for us, but it is 100% worth the drive knowing our animals are getting the best possible care. We love their honesty, compassion and dedication to their patients. Wilson's previous surgery was experimental and tough. Dr Tony Cambridge went above and beyond in his search to help Wilson and it was successful.

Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. I felt good about taking my dog there and comfortable about him having to stay the night after his surgery. The doctors and techs were awesome and took the time to explain everything about my dogs surgery. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Dr. Cambridge has been incredible. He went above and beyond! The overnight nurses were great. Very happy! The care given to Bear was thorough, consistent, everyone always answered my questions. I felt relieved every time that I talked to Dr. Cambridge and felt that Bear was very well taken care of. I came to VSS in 2016 for a different dog and didn't want to go anywhere else for my other dog in 2022.

This is HANDS DOWN the best place in my 7 years of having dogs, of all my numerous experiences with vets and animal hospitals, I can't think of a more caring, better run, professional facility. Dr. Cambridge is an ANGEL, Dr. Sebestyen is very kind and caring and the whole team of nurses are wonderful. This is a special place. :

I was referred to Dr Cambridge when I received the devastating news my Lucky Bear had a mast cell tumor. News I wish upon no one. Not knowing anyone at VSS, everyone we encountered was not only compassionate and knowledgeable, they were genuinely happy to answer all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed and no one made feel like the crazy dog mama that I am.

The day of Lucky's surgery I was an utter mess. Dr Cambridge called from the operating room letting me know what he saw and I received a text letting me know once surgery had began. When surgery was over I received a phone call and shortly after a call from Dr. Cambridge. That evening they sent me a text and an update with how Lucky was doing. Through the whole process knowing how Lucky was doing every step of the way helped reassure me. Dr. Cambridge and his staff have provided by far the best medical care I've ever had for one of my fur babies. I truly feel Dr. Cambridge saved my dog's life and I'll be forever be grateful!

Great service overall. Different specialties on site. Location is ideal for all in one services with nearby pet emergency, food, eye care, etc. Long wait times 2-4hrs or more depending on services being provided. I do believe it is because they provide undevided attention to each pet and owner with unrestricted time. I do prefer the thorough work over quicker time.

I am so happy with the care my Daisy is receiving! Dr Cambridge and the staff are so compassionate, professional and have awesome customer service! No matter how many times I have called, I never feel like they are rushing to get off the phone. They take the time to answer all of my questions, and when they say we will call you back, they actually do! I am very impressed! Your compassion

Everyone at VSS has been so helpful and answered all our questions/ calls. We are so glad to see our dog doing better and his recovery has gone well! I appreciated being able to check in on our dog during the night post surgery, and the overall excellent surgical care.

Dr. Cambridge did a wonderful job on removing my labs tumor on his tail. He was able to do full skin closure on the tail which helped with wound healing. He was very professional and had great communication. The staff were great too.

I have had the best experience with VSS. They fixed my doggy's leg/knee.actually corrected a surgery that was previously done. I wish I had came to vss first or sooner but glad they were able to correct the problem. Glad to see my dog walking on 4s again. Professionalism and correcting a botched surgery is what I got from them. They also took great covid precautions.

Can come across quick and insensitive but I understood. Nurses were nice and explained things. Dr. Craig at consultation was confident she could correct the surgery. Told me the hardware from previous surgery were too tight making leg unusable. She gave me a call after the surgery. I saw a difference immediately in the leg. Long recovery ahead but I see the progress. my biggest problem is slowing the dog down. Lol Also Loved they kept my dog overnight for observation and a sent pic (added). Previous surgery they sent her home same day.and that night was so stressful watching her. Great experience overall.

My 4 month old puppy fractured her ankle and required surgery. I knew exactly where to take her, as Dr. Sebestyn had done surgery on my other dog years ago. This was a traumatic situation, so knowing she was in good hands helped greatly. The expertise, knowledge, and compassion of this staff is excellent. I trust them and highly recommend them to anyone with surgical needs for their pets.

Dr. Cambridge, the nurses and staff are exceptional. Dr. Cambridge performed a high risk surgery on my 7 year old 3 pound dog with a Porto systemic shunt. She is now thriving. He absolutely deserves the reputation he has. The nurses were also outstanding. I could call and check in 24/7 and they would text me pictures of her as well. I felt complete confidence in them and appreciate the care and time they spent with us through this experience. Highly recommended this practice.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Dr. has answered all questions in a very personal manner. So far, Darwin is doing very well. Being able to communicate with the staff at all hours of the day or night has been very comforting. Great communication from Dr. and all assistants. Dr. came highly recommended by several neighbors , having had excellent surgical outcomes. Even though I have to drive about 2 hrs. and may not be the least expensive, I believe it has been worth it.

Your staff is amazing. You are all so kind, considerate and caring. You all have hearts of gold and truly care about your patients. You are all so helpful and very informative You all made sure that my dog Rex was well taken care of. You took the time and effort with him and I feel you went above and beyond. Thank you nurse Laura! The follow up calls from all staff were a great help because I was able to have questions answered if I had concerns.

My cat Chewy broke his leg back in September. Badly. They were the first place I called, also #1 recommended by my vet. I called several others, and in the end I chose VSS. I am so glad that I did. They rushed to get my cat in, we were scheduled next day. If I didn't live so far, we could have even made it in that very day. Dr. Cambridge performed Chewy's surgery.

My kitty needed permanent hardware installed in his leg. The surgery went well, and we came in weekly for awhile for Check-ups and bandage changes. EVERY SINGLE PERSON knew my pet personally, and was so very friendly, compassionate & helpful! They treated my kitty with so much respect. It blew me away. I can't say enough how great everyone was....from the front desk workers to the techs to the surgeon...A++!

Another great thing was the cost for EVERYTHING is covered at the beginning. Once you pay.... no more being charged at every follow up visit...no upselling for this and that every time you come in. Just care. I highly recommend VSS. I pray that no one needs this place, but if you find that you do, GO TO VSS. They are THE BEST!

Dr. Tony Cambridge did a successful key hole surgery on my French Bulldog almost 3 years ago. She had a heart base tumor and it is almost unheard of for a dog to live almost three years post surgery Dr. Cambridge did on Bella Bereczky. Dr. Cambridge, thank you for giving me 3 more years to love her, she sadly passed away on 12/21/2020, but because of your amazing work, I got to love her almost 3 more years - thank you! ❤ I recommend Veterinary Surgical Specialists

Our 7 year old golden, Harley, blew out his cruciate ligament right before thanksgiving. We saw our regular vet, and were given 3 referrals. Although VSS had the longest wait for our initial consultation, we were very comfortable with the preliminary information we received. From the first moment we got there, Harley was treated like a member of their own family! Dr. Cambridge carefully went over the procedure and the recovery process with us.

We have returned already for two visits, and have been so impressed with each and every staff member! Forgot to mention that the night of Harley's surgery, I called and texted several times, and they even sent me a picture of my baby! I would recommend VSS to anyone needing surgery for their fur babies. The caring and knowledgeable staff are so impressive!

Thank you to VSS for the amazing care for Hunter, Monte and Molly. Hunter came to us with a healed and fractured jaw, Monte with a dislocated hip and grade 4/4 luxating patella and Molly with 2 grade 4/4 luxating patellas - Dr. Sebestyen performed amazing work on our Pawsitive Tails To Remember rescue pups. Their willingness also to work with our medical grant made the whole process so much easier. We really appreciate this group of people and the care extended to our dogs. Highly recommend for quality and complete care. This is our go-to for specialty surgeries.

Everyone has been professional and kind. Never wavered in handing over our pup to anyone, especially with covid restrictions keeping us outdoors while our pets were taken indoors without us. The efficiency with the appointments was perfect.

We can’t begin to explain the kindness we experienced by everyone in this office. Very loving and compassionate. Not just to our fur baby but to us too. They went out of their way to make this nervous 🐶 mommy feel much better. Post-surgery, they sent us pictures, texts and updates throughout the night. Our boy is still on the bend but he’s getting better every day and his personality is coming back more and more! Our prayers have been answered and we’re so blessed that these wonderful people at the Surgery center were recommended to us.

Amazing doctor and staff...as i was waiting to drop my dog this morning for surgery .. i got to talking to a man that drove down from San Francisco area to have surgery for his dog...that tells you how knowledgeable and talented these doctors are ..I was referred from my vet who had her dogs surgery here as well.. and i drove only 1 hour!! Thank you Dr Sebestyen for the follow up call after surgery and to Jennifer for the pics and text as my dog was in recovery ... great place / great care !

We came all the way from Colorado to receive the best possible care and we did. My beloved Ella is having fun and her quarterhorse Teddie is glad his golden retriever is finally home.
