Dr. Mansour founded Evergreen Animal Hospital in 1985. After obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cairo University in Egypt, he moved to the United States. He is currently licensed in three states: California, Maryland, and Florida. Dr. Mansour completes more than 30 hours of continuing education each year.
I understand that if my pet enters the Pet Resort with fleas or ticks that it will be treated at my expense. All vaccinations must be current within 1 year and Bordetella within 6 months. In case of emergency or illness I authorize Woodland West to treat my pet using our veterinarian and I am responsible for all charges. If medications are necessary for treatment I give my permission to the practice to administer such medications.

Seven years ago, I entrusted my dog's spaying procedure to Evergreen Animal Care Center, under the care of Dr. Nabih Mansour. My initial encounter with Dr. Mansour left much to be desired, as he insisted on a costly laser surgery option, despite my student budget constraints at the time. As a result, my dog underwent the traditional spaying procedure, with assurances that all sutures would naturally dissolve within 1-2 weeks. To my surprise, I recently discovered that stainless steel sutures were used during the surgery, thanks to an X-ray conducted by her new vet clinic. This revelation raised questions about the choice of sutures and whether cost-saving measures were prioritized due to my refusal of the $2,700 laser surgery.
What deeply concerns me is not just the choice of sutures, but the lack of transparency regarding their use. This has prompted me to share my experience in the form of a review, leading me to uncover a slew of negative reviews about Dr. Mansour and the associated pet resort on platforms such as Google and Yelp. The recurring themes in these reviews include mistreatment, neglect, and poor handling of animals, further underscoring my apprehensions about this veterinary practice.
Several reviewers narrate disturbing incidents. One recounts Dr. Mansour's inability to diagnose a cat's colonic inflammation, leading to a biopsy and major surgery that ultimately proved unnecessary. Another mentions a lapse in Dr. Mansour's license, a glaring violation of the law, as they sought vet clearance for international travel. Yet another reviewer describes a shocking recommendation to euthanize a pet without any blood tests, only to find out from another vet that the pet had a manageable infection.
These accounts collectively paint a troubling picture of Dr. Mansour's practice, marked by unethical conduct, a lack of regard for animal welfare, and, in some cases, gross incompetence. Given these distressing reports of mistreatment, unethical practices, and the apparent disregard for the lives of the animals entrusted to this practice, I am genuinely concerned about the competence and ethical standards upheld by Dr. Mansour, calling into question his suitability to hold a veterinary license.

This place is good when your pets are alive. When it came to cremation, they cheat & lie. They charged an enormous amount for cremation (easily high 3-digit figure). If the pet is dead, why charged the fee for the vet to LOOK at the body? What a joke! After we protested that fee, they removed it & said body would be picked up in a week for cremation.
They blamed COVID & short staff (DUH?). When called back a few days later, they said no it hasn't been picked up. We demanded money back & bring body somewhere else. Then, they quickly put us on hold, came back & said: yes, body has been picked up. I would not recommend dealing with business lying. For remaining pet services, I would take it elsewhere.

Today was the day all pet owners dread. End of life for your beloved pet. My son's Chihuahua was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge and we couldn't have chosen a more compassionate place to take her. I can't say enough positive about Dr. Mansour and I wish I had gotten the Vet Techs name because she was also amazing. They treated us with dignity and compassion, allowing our family to be with Mika as she passed over. After going to many vets through the years Dr. Mansour at Evergreen will have all my animal care. Bless you and your staff.

I'm going to say never mind the negative remarks below. I've never been there before until today when my puppy pug had a emergency type visit. They helped me figure out what was wrong with my pug then when done and was checking out they said there's no charge! What a great gesture from the doctor! I've gone to vets in Stevenson ranch and all of those places definitely make you feel like they just want your money but not this place.

I am extremely disappointed in this place. I am new to the area and came across this doggy daycare/pet resort/hospital. Now it didn't have the greatest reviews but I still wanted to give it a try because why not. The staff were extremely friendly - especially Hannah! We brought our puppy here a few times for daycare and boarding Hannah was amazing and my puppy loved her, she gave my partner and I a great vibe. Yesterday, We had set up a reservation to drop off my puppy for doggy daycare and the lady over the phone told us he was due for his Bordetella shot.
Now we are very good at keeping a schedule on our puppies shots. He wasn't due until July 31st. When my partner dropped him off for daycare the lady at the front desk had informed my partner about the shot but he explained to her that he wasn't due until July 31st so she told him that he could pay the $30 after pickup. I called and wanted to confirm again with the staff that I did not want my puppy to get vaccinated because he had gone through a very intense and overwhelming experience and it was too soon for the Bordetella shot.
I did not want my puppies body to go through anything at the moment. She told me she could possibly waive it but would have to talk to the veterinarian (Hudson). Hudson answered the phone and explained to me that they had a specific policy and that they require a dog to get the Bordetella shot once very 6 months!!!! Are you crazy????? After I had explained to her that this shot is required at other facilities ONCE A YEAR.
I told her I was completely against her policy and wanted to pick up my puppy. THAT IS ANIMAL CRUELTY!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE. Not sure what kind of facility they are running here but that is unacceptable. I've taken my dog to other facilities and they're ANNUALLY - as it should be. Hudson should've had a little bit of compassion knowing my dog had recently gone through surgery or waved it for the day.
They must be desperate for money! Because prior to today's visit they never brought up the Bordetella shot. They just lost a client - all because they refused to wave the shot for the day.

I have had quite the hospital experiences these days between one cat just passing away a few years back and a cat with a tumor on his pancreas. I decided to go to Dr. Mansour because I had heard how proactive he was, more affordable than the highly integrated hospital we kept our cat in and that he will always be 100% truthful. The cat that passed away, I had unfortunately had a bad experience with.
They seemed un-truthful and un-proactive. My cat went in for a check up with slight respiratory issues and after they pretty much forced this anesthesia box claiming he was hard to handle, he died about a week and a half later in a all cat hospital.
Dr Mansour allowed me to be with my pet as he began to do blood work and conduct ultrasound. He was compassionate, loving and the relationship with himself and the technician was like a harmonious dance.
My cat responded in a very positive fashion, something new comparing to the other hospital he has been at. The hospital facility is quite lovely. Everything was clean, the building was upgraded and staff has a sparkle within their personalities. I am so thankful that I have found a hospital home for all my cats and future dogs and cats. I really feel strong about having a doctor that really cares, someone who will research to make sure that this is the best care for your pet.
I dont care if I move out of the state, this is my only doctor for my pets and they mean too much to me to gamble on tests or to 'wait and see'. I need someone to think like me, willing to do what it takes and not be waiting around. Thank you Dr Mansour, we are very lucky to have you in our lives!

This place is mindblowing. We rescued a rescued a dog (I never use that term but this time it is real). The previous vet diagnosed him with an ear infection (right ear) and a infected wound on his ear (left ear). The infection on the left ear turned out to be a hematoma that the OTHER vet just suggested "squeeze it" (I have the email). We called Evergreen (off a recommendation) and they saw our pup immediately, found other major issues, did surgery the next morning. He came back to us happy and relieved of any visible pain and well on the way to recovery. These people love animals and I am THANKFUL for their help

I am the proud owner of three lovely dogs Lucky, Kobe and Frosty. It's really hard when any of them get sick. I have been all over different places to search for the best care, finally found Evergreen Animal Hospital. I had a good feeling about the place, well kept facility. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Recently, my Golden Retriever (Kobe) came to visit for an ear infection.
After Dr. Mansour examined the dog, his explanation and extra care made it easy for us to decide to have Kobe admitted for left axilla tumor removal. In my heart, I had no doubt that they would do a good job. That same day of operation, Kobe was able to walk, he got great oral and ear care done- what a relief. My family and I are grateful to Dr. Mansour and his staff for delivering excellent care. I highly recommend them for their excellent customer care!
