Park Ridge Animal Hospital

I recommend Park Ridge Hospital to any one who wants caring Vets and friendly and competent staff. They certainly have helped me with my pets through the years.

Our dog has chronic kidney disease, on his last two visits he saw Dr. Rosen. She is very professional, takes time to answer all questions, and educates me on my dog's current condition. You can see that she truly loves animals. I would like to add that the entire staff - all Doctors, med techs, front desk girls are all professional, friendly, caring and very very helpful. We highly recommend Park Ridge Animal Hospital and would never think of going anywhere else.

I recently got a puppy and had many visits to Park Ridge vet as you do with new dogs. I am extremely disappointed with how they handle their billing and pricing information. My pup had an itchy ear (very common) I brought him in and almost left paying close to $500 just for an ear infection! I had asked for pricing before making any decisions and of course was shown the two most expensive options.

It wasn't until I pushed back that they then told me there was a $40 medication I could buy instead. this is not the first time this has happened. I was also quoted over 2k for my puppies neuter and umbilical cord procedure. I spoke with multiple other vets who were shocked by this pricing! Being a first time dog owner I wasn't sure how to gage the pricing and they were absolutely taking advantage of this.

Thank god I asked for another opinion. I was also told I had to get blood work done 3 times because the results were coming back wrong. which I was to pay for all three misreadings! I am so outraged by how careless they are with pricing and billing and they absolutely take advantage if you are not paying attention: Please be aware of your bill and don't be overcharged!

Park Ridge Animal Hospital (PRAH) are great. Vets and technicians know their stuff. When we call for assistance when our dog is sick or injured, we get an instantaneous response. Our dog is 6 years old and has been consistently healthy, and PRAH shares credit for that. Unless there was an emergency and they were not open, would not take my dog anywhere else.

Very happy with PRAH. Their staff are polite, helpful and listen to all my concerns regarding my dog. The Doctors explain what they find and what is needed to help when she is not feeling well, or needs regular care. I also like that they follow up with how she is doing.

Dr. Scaglione and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful. I met Dr. Scaglione when I took my Golden during covid ( he is our baby but he is 12 years old). She immediately knew something was wrong without knowing him before and she was correct. She has taken wonderful care of him since and so has her office, absolutely wonderful! She calls to check up on him too which means so much to us. We are so fortunate because we know she saved our little boy's life and we know they truly care for our pets: Thank you for being who you are, we are so grateful for you.

We absolutely love the whole team at Park Ridge! They are a little more expensive than other vet offices, but, I know they care more about our fur babies than others. They go above and beyond to to everything to keep pets safe and healthy.

This office is the reason my angel passed away, due to the neglect and misinformation given by their staff. Before your business replies and negates my comments, please be ready to provide the phone conversation transcript where you failed to let us know my cat needed an ultrasound that could have saved her life. Not only this, but her vet openly admitted in a phone conversation that the “advice” given by another vet in the office was poor and should have never been given under the circumstances.

Whether this was an oversight or a blatant disregard, they do not have the proof to back up what my entire family knows to be true. Three witnesses to their neglectful staff can tell a lot more about their office than the lies they decided to tell us on the phone. Please do yourselves and your pets a favor and never take them to this office. Please note that if this review gets deleted, I WILL be leaving another.

I have used Park Ridge Animal Hospital for 5 years now. I have had annual check-ups for guinea pigs and annual check-up and sick visits for our dog. The secretarial staff is very friendly and helpful. The vet assistants are all very friendly as well. The veterinarians are all very caring and spend as much time as needed explaining things to you. The response time for results and call backs with questions is very good. I definitely would recommend bringing your pet here.

For several years now, i have been taking my dog to the Park Ridge Animal Hospital after becoming dissatisfied with the level of care she was receiving at another animal hospital in the area. I am so glad I did. The difference between the two was apparent from the first visit to PRAH. They follow up every visit with a phone call the next day to see if your pet is feeling better.

The other hospital never did that. You get the feeling they really care about your pet because they do. So if you need first rate veterinary care for your pet, give the Park Ridge Animal Hospital a try. You'll be glad you did.

I have been bringing my dog to Park Ridge Animal Hospital for nearly 11 years. throughout that time, various sick visits and well care, Dr Manderino and the entire staff at PRAH have been caring, loving and extremely knowledgeable. They offer great Veterinarian care!. Additionally, they have a brand new state of the art facility which is beautiful and accessible in every way

My new puppy has been a “frequent flyer” at park ridge animal hospital and the doctors and staff could not be nicer or more caring! They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. I completely trust them with my Charlie - they are the best!

PRAH is incredible! I work in town at the assisted living and our house therapy pup got a terrible ear infection. I didn’t want to wait to get her to our usual vet in Essex County, and PRAH was beyond accommodating; they squeezed us right in and we had an amazing experience. The doc and staff were some of the warmest, most helpful individuals ever! Rosie and I will definitely be back.

We've been seeing Dr. Manderino ever since moving to Paramus, NJ almost 2 years ago. The Oradell Animal Hospital is down the street but we find them to be far less personable and they charge 3 times more. Aside from wellness checkups, one of our dogs has had to have 2 dental extractions and the staff here are beyond supportive, kind and go above and beyond.

For each surgery, we were given updates immediately after surgery, including photos, and they even went the extra steps to make sure our procedures would receive maximum coverage by our insurance company (Trupanion). They even went back to check one of our bills from the first procedure and got us more money back from insurance! They called to check up on our fur babies to monitor their recovery as well.

Every time we come, the staff makes you and your fur babies feel like a part of their family. Kudos to all the kind souls working here to keep our fur kids healthy and happy
