We have been using Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic for over 24 years! We adopted two kittens from the Clinic and we have been clients ever since. The vets we have had have always been caring and very professional. The front desk staff are efficient and always kind and welcoming. The vet techs are so sweet and thoughtful when handling our pets. And in many instances, they have been very knowledgeable and helped put our minds at ease.
Their hours are convenient and the clinic is kept clean and tidy. I would recommend Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic to anyone who is looking for excellent veterinary care! They are simply the best!

I can't say enough good things about Crabapple Knoll. We've been clients at both offices, but most of our time has been spent at the Roswell office. We've been bringing our cats, a puppy and even a hamster to them since we moved here 20+ years ago. Sadly, we've lost two cats and the hamster (!) during that time and the doctors and staff were also so caring and understanding while we grieved. They are the best!

Unfortunately we had 2 weekends in a row where our cat needed emergency care. Crabapple knoll saved my cats life both times. They are so friendly and really care about animals. They even let me come and visit my cat in the hospital while he was recovering. I honestly don't know what I would've done if crabapple knoll wasn't here. Thank you so much for saving my cat!

I love the folks at Crabapple Knoll vets. They've been wonderful in treating my kitten as he's grown now to a big cat. Everything from annual shots to frequent nail trimming - they take great care of him. I also made an emergency visit when my big dog ate something toxic. Because of their extended hours, I could come by within minutes of calling. They took great care of my dog also.

My husband just came in with our dog after taking him in for a routine check and nail trim. I can not tell you how bad he is. They cut all of his nails so low they all were bleeding so they gave us an antibiotic. It is horrible. I can not believe anyone would do that to a dog. He can not walk and is traumatized. They obviously have someone trimming nails that has no experience. Please do not take your dog to Crabapple Knoll for nails. This is horrible.

Knoll Clinic is very professional and reliable when it comes to taking care of your pets. All of my dogs have been to this clinic and it is the best that I have seen. They answer all questions, they give you all diagnostics that are necessary and some that may not be necessary to save costs. Also, when purchasing from them if you do find a lower price elsewhere they will match that price which I thought was very fair because it is convenient to buy there when you are already there anyway instead of searching online or in other stores.
They are very considerate when losing a pet, they are very compassionate. I could go on and on about this clinic but I don't have enough space. In closing, now, in future pets, they still all will go to Knoll clinic. Thank you for the opportunity to share my great experience with Knoll Clinic. Sincerely Karen

Fit us in immediately for a Sunday emergency with our pup. "Apologized for the inconvenience" that it took an hour and a half for them to sedate, clean out wounds, and get my pup back to me with antibiotics and pain meds - really?! That's fantastic, especially for a weekend with no emergency fee! You can't beat the convenience of their hours and thorough and thoughtful care. We'll continue coming here even though it's a half hour drive!

I have been regularly astounded at the compassion and reliability of Crabapple Knoll ever since I started coming to them. My cat was diagnosed with Stage I kidney disease and since then I've had no shortage of questions about managing her care. I have called with all kinds of questions and every time Crabapple Knoll has answered in detail via phone, whereas other vets just tell you that you'll need to bring your pet in.
I've simply never encountered another vet so willing to go the extra mile and provide quality care not only for the pets but the owners as well. I cannot recommend them enough.

My sister was here visiting from out of state and her 16 yr old, blind, deaf little tea cup Yorkie injured himself the evening before. This Veterinarian was open on a Sunday morning and they were so compassionate to my sisters dog and her it truly touched my heart. They were immediately responsive and gave us options. Ultimately we had to put the little guy down but this place made you feel like they truly cared. And gave her the little guys Paw print.

After all my dogs died, I haven't really had the need to go to a vet. Now that I work with animals, I am sure that will surely change. As it did. The other day I was on my lunch break, my colleague called me and said we had a dog that started bleeding and it needed to go to the vet stat. So, needless to say, lunch was cut short, and I had a dog loaded up in my car, ready to go.
We deal with Crabapple Knoll due to their pricing and their availability- which is huge (have you seen the pricing that the e-vets charge? Not cheap). When I walked up with the dog in my arms (it was about 30lbs, felt like 50 lol) and told them who I was with. Thankfully they got him weighed, and we were seen right away. They asked me what foot, I told them I didn't even know, I was just the dog bringer lol.
The rooms are nice, with a nice large slab, and a computer in there (I had only been in Alpharetta Animal Hospital my whole life so I never saw another vet office before!). Thankfully, the pup was seen right away. And even better, it looked like the bleeding had subsided, so they were able to wash it, and apply liquid bandage. I was waiting for the bill, and thankfully that was a no charge.
What a relief on so many levels. I am so thankfully they were able to come in the clutch, because I sure as hell knew I had no idea what can of worms I walked into, but thankfully things were a lot less worse than it could have been- so thank you so much CKVC from the front office staff to the doctors to the techs, that was huge. We will surely continue to use them for all of our non-emergency and emergency needs!

We picked up our dog and asked about his wound on his snout and was told
To put Neosporin on it. Not, oh, let me take care of that. 50.00 a day for no care, concern or return call. Once we got home, our dog cried constantly,
Could not stand and limped. He also smelled after we paid for a bath. His limp was from a sore paw that had hardened feces in it.
I had to put him in a warm steam shower to remove the small pieces of mess in his fur. His paw was red and sore as was his snout. He cried for hours. He was dehydrated and very hungry but was too weak to eat or drink. I spoon fed him cold water and put water in a saucer since he couldnt stand to drink out of a bowl. We could not get the vet to call us back. We spoke to locations and no one cared or offered assistance.

The veterinarians at this practice are incredibly kind, and genuinely care about the health of your pets. They are current on all the latest medical literature, and take the time to discuss treatment and options with you. I never feel rushed, or feel as though they are pushy about certain things. I have a menagerie of animals, and I am very very picky about who treats them; I would not take them anywhere else.
Their vet techs are also the best I have ever seen at a veterinary practice. They are so wonderful, they put you and your pet at ease the minute they walk in the room. Amazing energy, and animals know these things. I think my pets get excited to go and visit a few of them! The front office staff is also great. And don't get me started on the hours they are open. A vet open on Sunday's? Yes, please! Just wonderful. Love them.

I brought my 11 year old mini Yorkie to Crabapple Vet at one of their busiest times-6pm. Their process for examining and admitting her for treatment for acute pancreatitis was swift and highly professional. On pickup the next day, the vet and staff were caring and very thorough with her discharge and instructions for home care. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for fitting us into your schedule. Sky received excellent care. Both the tech and the vet were so gentle with our timid dog - giving her time to meet them and acclimate to the new people and office. The price was affordable considering the service given. Everyone took their time to explain what what going on with our dog and to give us treatment options.

Our 5 year old French bulldog who had a heart defect suddenly started vomiting and panting on a Saturday afternoon. Our own vet was closed but we called Crabapple Knoll and they said to bring him right in, even though they'd never seen him before. His breathing became more of a struggle on the way over. The vet tech literally ran to the truck, scooped him up and ran back inside to try to save him.
The vet and staff performed CPR and other lifesaving efforts but our boy did not survive. As devastating as that was, we know he had the best care possible. Everyone there was dedicated to saving him and we were treated with kindness. We will use Crabapple Knoll for our other dogs from now on. Their priority is the animals and we can take comfort that everything possible was done to help our dog.

It's so sad to see a vet practice treat the dogs with such little care or consideration. Even more so the dog owners. There was one vet only in this whole practice that knew what she was doing. My dog is my whole world and now he is dying from acute liver failure. I understand its not the vet's fault, but how they treated our case, misplacing his lab work, not communicating with me or calling when supposed to and how little they showed to care breaks my heart in so many ways.
If you need something simple such as a bath or nail trim, they can do it but that's about the only thing they seemed to be good at. I don't usually write bad reviews and I am only doing so because I don't want anyone to experience what I experienced. Now that my dog is dying, I wish I could have done things differently and gone to another vet sooner. But now, there is no time left. If you are reading this and still have that time, look harder and try to find a better place.

After many second chances, we're finally done. Every time we schedule an appointment here something is always done in poor taste. I've made appointments where they have taken walk ins over me that weren't emergencies, while I sit for an hour past my appointment waiting to be seen. Dr. Carson has laughed in my face when I asked about mosquito repellant for dogs. I've waited over 2 weeks for insurance paperwork that was followed with rude emails and filled out incorrectly each time.
But the worst of all is that this place plays off the fact that you will do anything for your animals and they charge accordingly. I recently had a test done on my dog where the results came back positive and they refused me medicine until I came back for a physical exam. I'm sorry, but if you went to the doctor for strep throat and went home to wait for the results, would your doctor make you come back in for a physical?
No chance. They knowingly charge you so much because the love that you have for your pet is too great to say no. We have found a new vet and will be switching today. You all should as well.

Finding Crabapple Knoll was such a blessing. Our 13 year old chihuahua fell really ill and we had to make the horrible decision to put him to sleep. Our regular vet was closed so I called them and they were angels! They made a horrible and stressful situation as easy to bear as possible. Everyone from the office staff to the techs and the doctor were compassionate, caring and wonderful.
They treated us like family and though it was so sad, we left feeling comforted and well cared for through this experience. We highly recommend their team! Great job and a big thank you to them!

Just moved from California and we needed a place to board our 3 animals. It was our first time boarding pets let alone flying with them and we couldn't have chosen a better place. They worked out best for us because they stayed open until 5pm on Saturday since our flight came in at 2pm. They were so welcoming of our pets and made us feel like our pets would be well taken care of. We picked our pets up three days later and you could tell they enjoyed their stay. Great job guys!

I left my last review in 2014. Want to reaffirm that these folks are great! The treatment my dogs and I have received at Crabapple Knoll has been outstanding! I have lived in the Roswell/Alpharetta area for nearly 40 years Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic is one of the best finds I have ever made! Great, happy, courteous employees and Vets. Spot on treatment and diagnosis.

Thank you so much for being wonderful people! Our dog Shay decided to re act scenes out of Shawshank Redemption and dig under fence and escape while we were at nephew's graduation. Good Samaritan found her on road by our house and took her to Crabapple Knoll and they took her in and waited for me to make 130 miles trip back at closing time. Thank you so much for taking care Shay!

The technicians, doctors and front desk staff are friendly, warm, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Their hours of availability is Also key for a pet owner. The owner Dr. Gadson is extremely accomodating and truly loves his job and gives back to the pet owners community. Also check out their cat house. They make the lives of these cats pleasant while they await for a family to adopt them. RS
