Annual or semi-annual dental exams ensure good oral health for your pet. Clean breath and healthy teeth make for a healthier dog/cat. Specialized dental procedures can correct abnormal bites and prevent long term dental problems. With each dental cleaning, our practice provides a thorough oral exam to evaluate your pet's gums, teeth, tongue, and tonsils.
We provide the latest equipment for performing ultrasounds, endoscopies, cardiology diagnosis, ophthalmology, computed tomography (CT scan), surgeries or orthopedic injuries, thoracic surgery, cryosurgery, neurosurgery, oncology, Penn Hip, OFA and oxygen therapy. These services maybe offered to your directly by one of our veterinarians or they may result from a referral by your current veterinarian. We do not send bills.
We use many diagnostic methods to provide a thorough ophthalmologic examination including slit lamps, gonioscopy, tonometry, fluorescein, Rose Bengel stains and Schirmer tear test to assist in diagnosis, surgery and treatment of eye disorders in dogs and cats. Specific breeds of dogs and cats are prone to abnormal development of their eyelids.
Fracture repairs, patella luxation repair, cruciate ligament repair, intervertebral disk disease surgical management are a few of the surgeries we can perform. Surgeries are dropped off in the morning, the process takes 10 - 15 minutes depending on if you see the doctor or not. Then your pet will usually go home that afternoon, depending on the surgery that was performed. Sometimes your pet may have to stay a extra day up to a few extra days. We do not send bills.

Excellent bedside manor! Dr Arndt took his time with us and our dog. He was very kind and made the effort to get to know her before hauling her back for surgery. We received continuous updates throughout her day as well as opportunity to discuss options to the procedure when they presented. We have a timid dog, and we're extremely nervous about how her behavior would be the next day at pick up, she's normally nervous, shaky and seemingly afraid in vet ofc. But she came out happy and waggy butt loving on the tech and us. My only disappointment with the Dr, is that he's in Omaha, and we are in Lincoln!

Had fine experiences until recently. Unsure if the front staff just don't listen or some type of poor communication. Went in for my dog's regular vaccines and they asked if he needed one for kennel cough in which I said yes. Come to find out two weeks later they just didn't give it to him. I had to take off work to go in and get the additional vaccine and pay extra for a nail trim which also didn't happen during my scheduled appointment.
I had spent over $200 the day of his first scheduled appointment (just his regular yearly appointment and he's perfectly healthy) and would have thought after spending so much everything was done as expected. Will be finding a new vet where I can trust my pet is being taken care of and not have to question. Update: they did add credit to my account for the price of the vaccine I had to go back and get.

Dr. Bailey is the kindest and smartest Vet I have ever known! She did a surgery to remove bladder stones from my little dog, and left no brusing, and a perfect suture. The vet that did the same surgery a few years before, there was a lot of brusing. The Vet Techs are kind and very competent! Thanks Dr. Bailey and the Harvey Oaks Team!

Dr. Arndt, Dr. Bailey, and the entire staff are the best. as dog parents to 3 elderly rescues they keep them healthy and happy. Highest of praise for the multiple surgeries and procedures on our Sheltie who severely broke her leg. Dr. Arndt has worked with our Mollie through the slow healing process with patience and love. I can't say enough good things about the staff and care at Harvey Oaks. I am beyond grateful!

My dog Aspen was referred to Dr. Bailey and her team for an ultrasound an endoscopy. Aspen had been having GI issues for a few months. Last week I had to take her to my vet again. Since she was not getting better my vet referred us to Harvey Oaks. They were able to get us scheduled for an endoscopy within a few days. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and so helpful.
I was so happy the way they treated my dog. The doctor explain everything to me about what she was going to do and how they do it. I felt a ease leaving my girl with them. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable. Harvey Oaks is a 5 star animal hospital. I will definitely refer my friends to Harvey Oaks. Keep up the excellent service.

This is the best Veterinary clinic around. Everybody is really nice and the vets, especially Dr Arndt, are excellent with my dogs. My dogs love him. They can always work a client in when something seems urgent. Most importantly though, they are in it for the welfare of both the animals and the owners. Their rates are very reasonable and they won't try to sell you things you don't need or can't afford.

Totally outstanding! Doctor Arndt Really took the time to listen and examine my baby very thoroughly. The Yet reason I went here is because they are allowing us to go into the clinic with our animals rather than just handing them over curbside and hoping for the best. My last veterinarian Steele had not started allowing people who are fully vaccinated in and as much as I hated to do it, after probably 10 years I had to go to Harvey oaks because I could be with my animal. I have a new doctor for both of my current dogs and I am sorry to see my old veterinary clinic has lost my recommendation

All around a great place. Very compassionate and attentive group of people. Our fur babies can’t tell us what’s bothering them, so it’s comforting to know that these wonderful people dedicate themselves to taking care of not just our babies but to our peace of mind as well. Thank you for taking such great care of Sid.
