I was moving my daughter to Nashville and I live in SC. While here, my dog got very sick and VCA Animal Hospital took him right away. My dog has Addison’s disease and can become sickly very easy. They took such good care of him (Dr. Elvin and staff) I was blown away. So professional, so understanding and extremely caring!! They had his background from my vets at home immediately! What team work!! Definitely would recommend this facility! Brink and I thank you so much!!

As someone who currently works at an animal hospital, I was a little shocked at the treatment my cat received at this clinic. I adopted a cat from the shelter and was given a free exam and up to $250 for treatment at a VCA. When I arrived I was told I was checked in and waited exactly an hour after being “checked in” to call and ask for an update.
I was told I hadn’t been checked in and after I gave the name of the person who checked me in they profusely apologized and were out to get my cat. According to the doctor, they gave my cat a full exam and stained her eye. Except all of that happened within 10 minutes and my cat’s eyes were dry to the touch and there was no fluorescent stain on her.
When the doctor was at my car going over the procedure on of the technicians came to my car and took my cat back in because they forgot to weigh her. On top of that I was told that although I had money given to spend on treatment, they had no medicine available to dispense and wrote me a prescription instead. I would definitely NOT recommend taking your pets to this office.

So many great things about VCA PetMed. The love and care for our cats is present and felt from the time we walk in the door and with every staff encounter. There’s no one I trust more for boarding when I travel. The care and concern they provide with each visit is reassuring, comforting and appreciated. While our preference is to visit for boarding, grooming and routine check-ups, we have had been cared for and comforted during periods of illness, and given the utmost respect, dignity, and compassion with the heartbreaks of end of life with a pet (with kindness and understanding for me too as our babies “mom” all along the way). We just cannot rave and thank everyone here enough for all they do and give to pets and pet-families.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Mark and his staff at Petmed. Unfortunately my 12 yo old cat had fluid on her lungs due to cancer, they helped me make a difficult decision to put her down, explained to me the way she was feeling and what would happen if I didn’t. Not only were they very informative, but they were supportive too, let me be in the room with her and someone even went and got her another blanket because she didn’t think it was cute enough for her. I can’t put into words how caring the staff is here and while it was the hardest thing I ever did, they did everything they could do make it better.
