Our daughter told me about you. I was having trouble finding a same-day appointment for Wally and was so happy we could get in to see Dr. Vail! Everyone we encountered was friendly, warm and caring. I believe Wally got excellent care and I've called a couple times since my visit - always treated so warmly. Thanks!

We have been going to Kenwood Pet Clinic for two years. We have moved (still only a 15 min drive), but we wouldn't change providers. They take such good care of our dog, are friendly, quick to communicate, and always willing to answer our questions. We love Kenwood!

Great staff! They are very friendly and accommodating! The doctors are gentle and kind. The clinic is very clean, bright and welcoming. I've been taking my dog here for many years and appreciate all the care they have given him.

The staff at Kenwood Pet Clinic are amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful and knowledgeable, and the vets are always willing to call back to answer follow-up questions. There's no judgment if your budget doesn't allow to do everything at once, and they've been realistic with us about what treatments are likely to be effective.

When moving to the Twin Cities, I stumbled across Kenwood when looking for some urgent care for one of our pet rats. They were ready with an exotics vet and gave him a full check-up with a clean bill of health. That was six months ago, and to this day he is a happy, healthy rat. His brother passed on recently, but Kenwood was empathetic and made the difficult process of saying goodbye to a pet easier. They even sent a condolences card after handling the cremation which was touching in a difficult time. I can't recommend this clinic enough!

So happy to have found Kenwood Pet Clinic and Dr. Schulman! So patient with my crazy dog mom questions, and always kind and knowledgeable responses in a very timely manner. Love him and the rest of the staff here!

I really like this place. I have used them for 3 years now. Professional, attentive and always very nice. Even when my pet is not. They give me text alerts that help and have been quite pleasant whenever I've had to reschedule.

My experience with Kenwood pet clinic has been amazing, even when my older cat went through major health issues and eventually passed away this last year they were supportive and helped her and me get through it as best as possible. I continue to take my younger cat there and know that they will be getting wonderful care throughout their life as well.

Kenwood Pet Clinic has been absolutely amazing with our puppy Henry. We are first time dog owners and Dr. Vail has been very helpful, as we navigate being new puppy parents. The staff is extremely responsive and has helped us through some difficult times. We could not recommend them more and are so thankful that they help keep our pup happy and healthy.

I have a 150lb Saint Bernard, and being our vet can be complicated as he's now a senior dog (13 years old next month!), and the fact that we travel extensively year-round splitting our time between residences in Seattle, Wa, Minneapolis, MN, and the mountains of North Carolina. My husband is a surgeon, who thinks the sun sets and rises on Beethoven, and insists to my embarrassment, and his insistence on knowing EVERY detail of Beethoven's care. (E.G. what was that exact lab number result? Did you run xxxx test?

Have you read about blah, blah, blah, emerging surgical treatment for nasal arteritis in Saint Bernards?) He's an MD, not a DVM, bless his heart. Kenwood, always always answers every question, takes time with us as if we were their only patient, and willingly, PROACTIVELY, coordinates with our vets in WA, & NC to always ensure Beethoven has his current medications, supplements, clean teeth, specialist visits (dermatology & water therapy in MN), and whatever other care or surgery he may need. Going just a day without arthritis medication can make a big difference for Beethoven, but we don't have to worry about that because of Kenwood. I've been known to call them even when in Seattle, because they respond immediately with no delay, despite the hour (husband sending emails to them.). They go above and beyond, and we are so thankful to have found them as our MN vet!

My family has taken our pets to Kenwood since 2002 and we have always been very happy with their care. They provided fantastic prenatal care when we took in a pregnant cat, compassionate end-of-life care for the family dogs, and everything in between. I currently have senior cats who are developing health issues, so I especially appreciate that they take the time to call and explain test results and also talk through options and costs. The staff have all been very friendly and our dog LOVES going to see them. Highly recommend.

Very happy with the care we received today! Our poor golden doodle had a laceration on her side that required attention. When we called to get a recommendation, they had us email them a photo of the wound. The veterinarian quickly assessed it and called us back to explain how she would go about remedying the injury. Dr. Mackinnon had her in and out within the next hour. I am very happy with the results and the prompt care we got!

Being new to the Twin Cities, I knew I had to research a great veterinary clinic that would not only deliver excellent service but that it would be caring towards their patients and thorough in their examinations. Thankfully, I found Kenwood Pet Clinic to be just that! They reassured me when I found out I could not go inside with my pup (as he gets very anxious and nervous when at new places) due to COVID-19 protocols and were communicative throughout the whole visit.

Upon arrival, you first called the office to let them know you are there. Then you get a phone call from a vet tech asking you what the reason for the visit is and other general questions. After that, someone comes and grabs your pup from the car to then be examined by the veterinarian. I then received a call from Dr. Vail, who then explained all her findings and gave me recommendations regarding food options and dental products for my dog.

In the end, I received a final phone call so that a payment could be processed - which by the way was very reasonable - and then they brought my pup back to the car and a small package that contained detailed written notes about the exam. I also received a handwritten note in the mail a few days after the exam, which put a smile on my face. As a pet owner, I can truly say it is not always easy to find places-vets, groomers- where money is not the #1 motive, and so small things like such assure me that I have indeed found the right place!

A trainer who had 10 years experience was shocked when she heard about the insufficient care our dog received here. All our concerns were completely dismissed and our 4 month old puppy became dehydrated and miserable as they failed to give appropriate medication. We were later informed that any reputable clinic would have identified the problem and had him on the right medication on the first visit. It's prudent to note that this clinic survives based on their location in the Kenwood area, rather than their ability to provide appropriate care to pets.

I have been going here for the last 4 years. This past week I had very poor experiences with two of their vets. The first phone conversation I had some concerns prior to bringing my cat in and since we can't talk face to face at this time I was trying to be thorough. One of my questions I had to ask 4 times before getting an answer - it was a specific question about sedation.

She then proceeded to talk about multiple worse case scenarios before even having seen my cat. I'm already stressed and she made me feel worse so I asked to work with a different vet. He wasn't much better. After the exam and going over some concerning results, I want my questions and concerns answered and explained. Instead of explaining things to me his response was essentially "because I'm the vet, that's why". Do not talk down to me ever! How very rude!

I only lived in Minneapolis for a few months, but both my fur babies got to make an appearance at Kenwood while I was there. The staff was incredibly helpful, supportive and willing to go out of their way to make sure we were all taken care of. If I had stayed in Minneapolis, I'd be a customer for the life of my fur babies.

Daisy, my 16 year old Shih Tzu has been seeing Dr. Schulman since October 2007 (when I adopted her). I appreciate the time that Dr. Schulman takes during her appointments to go over his concerns, my concerns and what is best for Daisy especially as she gets older. The staff at Kenwood Pet Clinic is awesome too - I call them monthly to order food and medicine for Daisy. I have and will continue to recommend Kenwood Pet Clinic to my family and friends.

Very caring and professional staff here at Kenwood Pet clinic! I went online at night requesting an appointment when my cat Boots was in pain and not pee'ing normally. The very next day they called and fit me in in an afternoon appointment! The office was very clean and Dr. Borck was great with Boots even though she can get very agitated when strangers handle her.

After some blood work and a few other tests since she's "geriatric", Boots was sent home with some meds and is feeling better now! Dr. Borck called and followed up the next few days with results and to see how Boots was doing. I appreciate her care and concern and would definitely recommend kenwood pet clinic!

We've visited Kenwood Pet Clinic with our dogs and cats in both the happiest of times and sadest of times. The doctors and staff are always wonderful and caring -- both for the animals and owners.

Great group of people. Got me in on short notice when my pup had an ear infection and it all worked out great. This was my first visit. I'll be back for sure. Harvey says thanks too. He's feeling a little better.

I have loved the care for my pup since coming to Kenwood. Their staff is amazing, their follow up is way above and beyond anything I expected. I think their pricing is very fair, they don't ever try to oversell and give very realistic views as to what will benefit your pet. I trust them with my fur baby with zero concern!

I didn't want to write a review for Kenwood Pet Clinic, since word may get out about how top-notch it is! I owe a debt of gratitude to the staff of Kenwood who helped my family through the very painful process of end-of-life care for our dog. Although the vet had not seen our dog until the day of her final terminal prognosis, she treated us like long-term patients.

The vet we worked with genuinely cared about our dog and couldn't have been any more comforting and professional throughout the final exams and last goodbyes. I couldn't recommend Kenwood more highly.

We brought in our elderly cat to this clinic. Usually our cat is really aggressive and mean to veterinarians but, they had a calming effect on her. They thoroughly explaining the pricing to us and didn't pressure us to do anything or talk down to us. They did a good job with our cat and everyone was happy. I highly recommend Dr. O'Callaghan.

The Kenwood Pet Clinic is the sort of place you stay behind a minute later than you need to just I chat with the extremely friendly staff. Dr. Schulman took care of my cat Fatty when she needed to have some of her teeth taken out. He and every other member of the staff took time to explain everything clearly so we knew what was being recommended and why.

They were kind and friendly to every pet there (and they all have stories of rescued pets that they ended up keeping.) Overall, their love of animals and kindness to people really shone through. Fatty had her teeth out, and I have never seen her so energetic and happy! A great outcome for everyone. I highly recommend them if you need any vet work done for your furry friends. They are great.
