Services
If I am not at the hospital, then I am with Andrea, her son Dayton and my daughter Abby. We have a cat named Kit and a dog named Vinnie. We enjoy sailing on our boat out on Lake Superior. If we are not at home then we are out exploring the great outdoors, biking, boating, skiing or just enjoying life.
The Promise Fund is designed to offer financial assistance to owners seeking emergency care for their pet. The Promise Fund is funded solely by donations from clients and our TLC doctors and staff. Whether an owner is facing financial difficulties due to the loss of a job or an illness, these donations enable us to help them in covering the cost of emergency medical services.

We have been going to TLC for over 15 years. We took our dog Lael when we adopted her at 6 months. He put her so at ease she fell asleep on the exam table and didn't even wake up for her shots. Dr. Clinch is amazing. He is honest, patient, compassionate and a darn good vet. His prices are fair and upfront. We are so appreciative of the time he gave our dog from her first visit at 6 months to the time her bad days outnumbered her good days at 15 and a half. He was there every step of the way. We are adopting a new puppy, we have already booked his first check up with Dr. Clinch. We cant imagine taking our animals anywhere else.

Doctor Clinch is great. I was in my car while my dog was inside, and he still made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that everything would be okay regarding the the unfortunate circumstances of my visit. It was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after a short phone conversation with him. I've seen other vets here too and I don't have any complaints! My dog has some serious vet anxiety and they all handle it very well. Highly recommend, and I'm grateful to have found this place.

My father is a veterinarian (not at TLC), but I mention it because I have very high standards when it comes to medical care for my cat. Dr. Clinch (at TLC) is a very capable veterinarian, and I feel comfortable trusting him with my cat's care. Kitty has a respiratory issue, and he was the first to identify that she might have allergies exacerbating the problem. I appreciate his willingness to walk me through his evaluation of Kitty's issues and why he proposes the medications that he does. Thank you, Dr. Clinch!

In Oakdale, there are only a handful of vet clinics to bring your pet to & this is one of them. I brought my cat into this clinic on a whim one afternoon because she vomited 3 times along with diarrhea in a 24 hour period. Out of concern for my pet, I brought her in. I was greeted pleasantly by front desk staff & very soon after, seen by Dr. Thraen. Dr. T is a very sweet & gentle vet, my cat wasn't freaked out by this stranger touching her.
After Sage was given the all clear, Dr. T had me schedule her annual exam for after the new year. I brought her back, saw Dr. T again & had the same pleasant experience as before. I've not seen or met any of the other vets in this clinic, can only speak of Dr. Thraen, but would recommend bringing your pet to TLC if you live in or near Oakdale. She & her staff are all very nice.
