Services
The doctors, technicians and staff at Pulaski Animal Hospital are experienced and dedicated. We provide your pets with superior care and are devoted to helping ensure the health and well-being of our patients. Our hospital, with more than 50 years of service, has earned a reputation for excellent treatment at affordable fees.
Increasingly, our clients are learning that it is just as important to have their pets' teeth examined and cleaned regularly as it is to protect their own teeth and gums. Our services include cleaning, polishing, tooth extraction and oral surgery. Detecting medical problems early can be invaluable for successful treatment. And continued care that starts when your pet is a puppy or kitten can assist in their well-being as they become geriatric.
As summertime BBQ time heats up we just wanted to take a moment to warn dog owners against feeding their pets corn cobs. While corn on its own is not toxic or generally harmful, leftover corn cobs can be dangerous for dogs to eat since they do not digest and many times get stuck somewhere in the digestion tract causing partial or complete obstruction.

The vets and the staff are amazing! The prices are a little high for people who live on a budget, especially for the southwest side. ( Check out Summit animal hospital when finances are low) Kind and compassionate euthanization services, and you plus one person is allowed in the room for this service during pandemic when cases are low. Not all vets allow 2 persons, I was so grateful they let my support person in with me during this painful process. 9/10

Very rude and negative. Dr. Spindor had the audacity to write me a letter telling me to never bring my dogs there again. Reason; I was having a financial hardship and making payments but obviously not as quick as he wanted. I remember one lady he had working there that was extremely rude. I would Never go back to that place.

I've taken my corgi in for an annual/vaccinations and dental care. My only issue was not receiving timely blood test results, but they did return my phone call promptly and helped me set up an appointment for her dental right away. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and ready to answer questions. They only allow your pet to enter the facility, but they handled my nervous corgi with lots of care.

Please take your pet to another location, , this place refused to see my dog and i got promised a call from a doctor to see what was going on. Never a call!. Never a call back to see if they could of seen my dog. I called every day in the mornings to have my dog listed as emergency to see if anyone had cancelled. Noone ever called me back or atleast with a update.
This morning my beloved dog passed away. Please I beg you to take ur dog elsewhere if needed for prompt attention. I wish my dog was still with us. Btw I got a appointment until November 13th. My dog couldn't wait that long. He didn't get to make it. I will be calling today to inform them of this incident. I will forever not ever take my dogs there anymore. Ungrateful people.

This is more of a question I will delete my question/review when answered. But I called today to ask if they do urgent care and the lady said no. Can anyone confirm this because I when I saw the services it stated emergency care which I don't really understand If there is a difference. She didn't really sound like she was all that interested.

We've had a couple bad experiences there. We hoped it would get better but it hasn't. Originally they missed a very severe case of flees on my cat even with two visits. They also gave me back my spayed cat with her paw swollen to three times the size because it was wrapped too tightly. They prescribed my cat medication he had a reaction to, he couldn't walk because of it, we did research and made the decision to take him off the medication after multiple calls with the vet who never even acknowledged that the medicine might be causing his walking problems as a side effect.
Following that we had a very hard time getting appointments and walk ins for sick animals. My family has used this vet for more than 20 years, my grandma use to take her cats there. They use to be accommodating and compassionate and now they're unresponsive, disorganized, and dismissive. The doctors won't call back, you have to wait two weeks for an appointment even when your animal is actively sick.
I would never recommend this place anymore, it's really quite sad how down hill they've gone. Through the pandemic I had an easier time making appointments at a vet we had never been to before and received far more attentive care. I hope they can work on improving and taking the time to treat patients with care instead of just grabbing money and providing minimal help

This hospital literally saved my dogs life! I needed emergency pyometra surgery for my dog and everywhere I went they weren't accepting any new clients or they were completely booked until June/September. I called Pulaski and right away they were able to keep my dog overnight to have her prepped for surgery the next day. Extremely professional and reasonably priced for me! kept me informed of how she was doing and how her surgery went. I will not bring my dogs anywhere else but here from now on.
