Dr was ok, we knew no more then we did when she was at our Veterinarian in Ocala. Wasn't worried about $$$ as much as they were. I have 5 rescues from Annapolis Maryland before I moved here 2 years ago, We have had theses babies for 10 years and all up too date daily, my kids. Was looking for more help here, wasn't there.

Took our fur child there to get looked at for neck issue was a bit confusing to find building. Was impressed with our dr with explaining everything. Cons having to sit in veh for 2+ hrs in 90 degree day. They only do curb side. No indoor waiting. Recommend an MRI. could be 6-7 hrs wait. Outside?

I can't say enough wonderful things about this institute. If you have a pet that needs a specialist, stay away from UF animal hospital and give your pet the care they truly deserve and visit IVS. I have the highest and upmost respect for Dr Borde and all of his colleagues they truly care about your animals as if they were their own.

I took my tabby girl, Olivia came here because she needed a cardiology specialist to diagnose and give me a prognosis. Turns out Olivia is much healthier than we first suspected and can be treated rather easily. Her Cardiologist, Dr. Borde and Technician, Sierra were very caring and gentle. Their knowledge, experience and explanation was clear and concise. Questions were encouraged and answered.

The staff of receptionists were amazing! They made sure I was where I needed to be while at the facility. If you are referred by your veterinarian or simply looking for a specialist, I feel confident in referring anyone to the Institute of Veterinary Specialists.

Dr Mangan examined our 9 year old cat who has been having eye problems for almost a year, that our other regular vet didn't seem to be taking seriously. It turns out he has an inflammatory condition of the iris, and it has spread to the back of his eyes, and now needs very intensive treatment to clear up - as the nerves are being affected. Dr. Mangan is extremely knowledgeable and caring, and spent a great deal of time with us detailing a plan to try to reverse the situation, find the source, and provide relief to our cat who has suffered greatly with this condition.

This apparently was above my regular vet's paygrade, although we kept umploring her to look further. We could see the massive amount of debris floating in his eyes just with our bifocals on. When he started bumping into things, crying non-stop, and his pupils looked uneven, we knew he was potentially in big trouble with his eyes. I am so glad we found Dr. Mangan, who seems to have a handle on his condition and how to fix it. Puma our dear cat already acts more comfortable and calmer after just a few days of putting the drops in, and giving him the liquid medication.

Very professional and efficient. I took my dog for cardiology related problems. The exam was thorough and the report was well written and helpful. I would not hesitate to refer my friends here.

All went smoothly and quickly, and I appreciated not having to wait inside (pet pickup from car) and still having opportunity to meet with tech and cardiologist in a room. Techs and reception were kind, warm, interested---made it feel personal. Vet explained conditions well, but assured me I could always call back for more info if I had more questions or concerns.

Our 13 years old dog received excellent care. He had MRI and visit with dr. Clemmons. Caring doctor and stuff. Thank you
