They are decent but won't come very far in an emergency. Provide decent service however when something important needs to be done such as a euthanasia turns into let's extend the life with multiple shots is their decision instead of the benefit of the animal is euthanasia costs $700 (the horse tripped broke his neck and was dying but their decision was more injections). thanks for letting my family's heart suffer and taking our pocket book.
Thought the senior pasture discount was a decent deal but after doing the math it really wasn't. If they are close to you good but 45 min or more away no. It's hard for us folks out here because we do not have a reliable vet in our area.

My 32 year old mare Bailey had reached the time in her life where she let me know to love her was for me to know when to say goodbye. Dr. York came to my home on a Sunday morning and with the kindest heart, caring attitude, soft and gentle voice gave my mare the peace she so deserved. Dr. York has such a quiet and gentle spirit and thru her caring words told me I was making the right choice for Bailey.

I have used Springhill Veterinary Clinic for many years. Not only for routine care for my horses, but for emergency as well. They have always delivered excellent care and have always been available. The clinic isn't far from my home, so I prefer to bring my horses to the clinic for their care. Yet, they do have mobile Vets as well. The Veterinarians at Springhill Veterinary Clinic remain up to date in the newest information proven for successful treatment. The office staff are friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for better service for the care of my horses.

From day one, the doctors and staff at Spring Hill Equine have been absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond with client and patient care. They excel at educating owners through blogs, webinars, and podcasts. They are very accessible, no matter the time of day, and treat their patients as if they are their own. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr Abbot and crew came out to do yearly check up and to meet the farrier James for our three donkey's. Wow. their professionalism and desire to make sure the animals were comfortable for the farrier was fantastic. No sedation needed and the donkey's were very good and easy to work with because of the skill of the Spring Hill team. James, the farrier, was excellent as well in his ability to work with the donkey's.
I recommend him as well. One of the best I've seen. I have found that from previous visits that Dr Lacher and Dr Abbott are both extremely skilled vets and will not only put you as an owner at ease but your animals as well. If I had the ability to give them 10 stars I would. Thanks Spring Hill Equine.

The vets are wonderful at Springhill Equine Vet Clinic. We use them for our wellness exams and all reproductive work. We have 20 Gypsy Vanners at Gypsy Tales Farm and they keep everyone healthy and happy. The techs and office staff members are also knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend this veterinary practice!
