People often say that a horse either passed or failed a pre-purchase examination.
Preventing problems before they start is key to enjoying your horse for as long as you can. Pigeon Fever, the disease that causes swollen chests and pus filled abscesses is prominent this fall throughout the bay area.
Regular dental floating is an important part of wellness care for your horse to help them accept the bit and chew their food better. Dr. Novick uses power dental equipment to give your horse the most comfortable feeling possible in their mouth. Dental problems are a challenging and important part of routine care and medical care in equine practice.
