Belmont Heights Animal Hospital

I requested this vet to prepare a part of the document to transport my dog to HI. Dr. Jin is kind, and our trip to HI was success thanks to the document prepared by him.

Exceptional pet hospital. The staff is all kind and compassionate. Their love for animals is shown in how they treat my pet.

This place is reliable, friendly and amazing! At the end of 2021 we had to put our 17 yr old cat down and other vets would NOT allow you to come inside their office due to the pandemic. We needed to be with her as she went, and Belmont Heights gave us just that. They got us into their office the same day that I called saying it was her time ( I called a few days earlier to inform them of what was going on, so it wasn't a complete blindside).

They were so amazingly kind and sympathetic. I immediately switched our younger cat to their office from a different vet. So far they've been able to squeeze in our cat during emergencies and overall are just amazing. Their friendly office staff is what sets them apart. "Ok, let's see when we can get your baby in" a phrase like this tells me they love what they do and that our boy is in good hands. I definitely recommend!

I brought my dog Rafa in because of what appeared to be an infected bump under his upper leg. After 1-2 minutes of examination, this vet told me he would likely need a $900 surgery. In the subsequent days, they called me multiple times trying to schedule the surgery. In the mean time, I took him to a different vet - one I had used before and trust, Belmont Shore Vet Hospital - and they solved the issue with a $180 cryotherapy treatment + $30 cone.

That was never even suggested or brought up at Belmont Heights. My perception is their goal was to upcharge me the highest rate and the most expensive option to solve this issue. Thankfully their rushed process made me skeptical enough to go elsewhere. I recommend others do the same.

The whole team at BH Animal Hospital are wonderful. Dr. Jin was so sweet to me and my dogs and very accommodating to my last minute needs. Ariana, Erica and Patty were all so caring with handling my old dogs. They were all very communicative over email and so compassionate with me as I cried all over the place. Too many good things to say about this place & this team. I am so very thankful to have them in the neighborhood. 20 stars if i could give it

First time here and what a great place. Straightforward, no nonsense, no extra costly treatments. Dr and staff were very sweet to my little pup. Can't recommend enough!

Dr. Jin An is by far the best Veterinarian we've had! He take the time to answer any questions we may have regarding our fur babies. In person and through emails. Dr. Jin An is very informative when it comes to what tests our elder cat needs but he's never pushy on it and I don't ever feel like they're trying to make money off of random tests like other places.

The staff and Technicians here has always been sweet and kind as well! I highly recommend this practice because they do really care about your babies! Thank you Dr. Jin An and the whole staff! My fur babies and I really appreciate you all!

Dr. Ahn is such an awesome, thoughtful, and generous vet. He always has the best interest of your pet. I drive all the way out to Long Beach from southern CA because he is the best vet I have found thus far.

Dr. An and the staff here always make my dog feel comfortable even though he has anxiety. He is very patient and does great work with him. Highly recommend!
