Dr. Shook and the staff were absolutely wonderful with my cat, Smokey! He had to stay for two nights and it was his first time away from me. They sent me pics, texts on his progress, and even a video. Loving. Thoughtful, and considerate, doing the best they can for my boy. I will continue to use them!

Staff is amazing! We drive from cleburne because we love how they treat our dog. They gave him a ball to play with, a bowl of water, and a treat.

Very responsive to emergency events and the vet staff are personable with dogs, getting down on their level for assessment and treatment. Wait times are surprisingly short.

Worked our pet into their full schedule of appointments. Took the time to listen and check our dog out. Very thorough. Very pleased.

I am very picky when it comes to Vets and I am so happy to have settled with Chisholm Ridge. They usually know who I am when I walk in the door for our appointments and am quickly put into a room. My Australian Shepherd tore her ACL/CCL and had her TPLO surgery here with Dr. Vaughn, who did a wonderful job. Each follow-up appointment has been incredibly easy and I fully trust each tech & vet I have had the pleasure of working with here. Pricing is fair in my opinion and well worth it. Also, the communication provided from this vet is top-notch. I get a confirmation phone call before each appointment, quick follow-up calls when promised, responses to any email I send, and professionalism/kindness from each employee.

We have been clients at this vet office for over 12 years. My dog had a sudden bladder infection and I called to bring her in on an emergency visit. The vet said he was too busy and couldn't see her today! Outrageous! As it is they're overpriced too. They charged over $700 to clean her teeth and give her vaccines. Find a vet that cares about your pet a little more than this place. They're obviously only interested in your money.

We absolutely love Chisholm ridge vet & all their staff! One of my dogs gets incredibly anxious whenever we're there, and they take such great care of her to make her feel as safe as they can. The tech Brandy is phenomenal and took her time to make sure my dog was comfortable, and was giving her the sweetest lovins. The dr staff go above & beyond for their patients. We've been using them since I was in middle school, and plan to continue as long as we have animals!

Always outstanding service. I have 2 kitties and 1 pup and they treat them all so well. I can't imagine letting anyone else take care of my babies. Thank you so much for always giving them the best care - and dealing with their difficult mom!

I love this place already! We used to go to another vet, but after numerous issues, we decided to try Chisholm Ridge and I'm so glad we did! Each and every person our new puppy and I came in contact with was amazing and kind. I didn't feel like our appointment was rushed like it was so many times at our other vet. The vet tech spent time listening to my concerns and spent time getting to know Luna so she would trust her.

The vet and vet tech came in to do her shots and they both got on the floor and loved on her for at least 10 minutes before administering the shots. Every question I had was answered without judgment. I will be transferring our other dog to them as well. Christina, the tech, was delightfully warm, professional, and helpful. Dr. Griffin was outstanding! She is kind, perceptive, and quite knowledgeable. She took incredible care of Iris and me! I highly recommend her as a family vet! The clinic is clean and organized so you can feel confident you will get excellent care here.

This has been our trusted vet since we moved into the neighborhood in 2007. They have taken care of all our dogs with professionalism and compassion. All their vets are great, but we especially love Dr. Krall. She seems to care about our dogs just like they were hers. Highly recommend!

Dr. Carrie was so helpful and loving to my cat! She took time t explain everything to me. She we above and beyond to be sure my cat was comfortable and well taken care of. Everyone from the front desk to the technician were kind, friendly and genuinely cared about me and my cat. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My new vet for my entire animal family!

Dr. Russell Johnston and Dr. Krall have seen both my pit bull mix (Maui) and my Maltese (Bella) and I really can't express how awesome they are! I have been taking my babies to them for about two years and I always feel so comfortable when I have concerns about my babies they always listen and always attend them very well like if it was their own.

And I can't forget about the staff, the staff is always so kind and always have a smile on their face. Anytime my dogs have anything they always get me in as soon as possible. As far as cost I feel it is affordable and they do take care credit as well. Bella always had such anxiety going to the vet and now when we pull up for her appointments she is so excited she barks at me to let her out of the car.

The veterinarians and staff at Chisholm Ridge are very good and compassionate. Our Molly really enjoyed going there.

I was new to the area but needed to get my dogs rabie shots up to date. I yelped a vetenarian and these guys popped up. I made an appointment and they were awesome! The doctor found a hot spot on my dog that I didn't even notice. She shaved it and cleaned her up for me. She also removed a skin tag my dog had that I was worried about. I was so thankful for that. Prices weren't ridiculously high either so that was a plus.

They were upfront about everything. I also had taken my sisters dog and was a little nervous about taking him because he can growl when he's nervous. They were so helpful and not scared of him at all. It made me feel so much better. I will definitely be returning here as long as I'm in Fort Worth. :

We’ve been taking our dog here for a year now and I cannot say enough good things! The staff is wonderful! They are always quick to help when I call or return after hours messages. Dr. Krall and Dr. Griffin are absolutely wonderful. They make sure to take care of my furbaby in every instance. Everyone knows him by name and I love feeling comfortable leaving him if/when necessary

These people are the best. I've moved about 6 times since having dogs and cats. In that time I've had great vets and less than great vets. Make that way less. So my husband and I wanted to start off with a great vet upon arrival here. Chisholm Ridge came highly recommended by our realtor when we moved here 14 years ago. And deservedly so.

Their staff is amazing and super friendly and helpful. They have 3 excellent veterinarians, each one as good as the other two, with great bedside/tableside manners. They take the time to explain everything so that we understand it, they are kind and gentle with the animals. When my beloved Jackson had to be put down, I wanted it done at home. I did not want to stress him with a vet visit on that day.

A doctor and nurse came to the house. They talked me through everything and took such good care, even making sure my other dogs came out after the procedure so they would hopefully understand and not go looking for him. They think of everything. I was extremely grateful. I have come to know their staff a bit and wouldn't take my little fur balls anywhere else. Even with the challenges imposed by COVID, they are super helpful and informative. I know my precious little fur balls (Gus, on left, and Bixie) are in good hands.

Called on a Monday at 7:30 to see if they could get my new puppy Williw in to see about her incision from when she was fixed. They were able to get her in that morning. All the staff and the vet that saw Willow were very caring and professional. I was very happy with the visit I will recommend them to, and already have, to my friends and anybody that needs a local vet. I will definitely be back.

Dr. Sandra Krall is one of the nicest, sweetest, caring veterinarian, this was the second clinic I had came to because my lab was tested positive for heart worms (the first clinic I took him too was uncaring and presented me with couple papers of their prices, felt cheated out of $50 to be just given papers and had done nothing) I was referred by a friend and I am glad I listened to her. Dr. Krall did a blood test, looked at his blood through a microscope to see how bad this case was.

She eased my anxiety I had over this ordeal. She gave me enough information so I could make a confident decision. I am confident that our lab will be cured in no time. Dr. Krall is one of few veterinarians that love what they do. Thank you once again!

Staff is very friendly and the vet was as nice as you would expect. They are reasonably priced and have a real concern and commitment to the pets.

We are so thankful for this place! They have taken amazing care of all of our animals from the first time we came in. We've never had a problem getting in same day when something urgent comes up, and everyone there truly cares about your pets well-being. We normally see Dr. Krall and she has helped us through everything from puppy vaccines to losing one of our dogs to cancer. On top of the normal veterinary things we see them for this is the only place I trust to board our older dog with anxiety issues. We'll never go anywhere else.

Great staff and Dr. Krall is very informative, warm, and happy to answer any questions. The nurses were friendly and we never felt like a number. Happy we have a new vet just down the street.

I LOVE the Vet hospital! All of the Vets here, are GREAT! The entire staff is SO NICE, very knowledgeable, and so helpful! I look forward to seeing them, each time. They treat my lil Doggies, like they are their Favorite, Every visit! Highly recommend, this place to all of you!

Our family loves each vet at Chisholm Ridge Pet Hospital. Over the years, they have helped us care for numerous cats and dogs, as well as the dogs our grown kids adopted from shelters. They are not only compassionate to the animals and the pet owners, but discuss financials with treatment options without the awkwardness of us having to ask how much each treatment will cost. They truly care for the whole family.

Recently moved to the area and from the reviews we chose this vets office and I am sooooo glad I did. They are amazing. Every staff member was friendly and made me and my dog feel super welcome! Dr. Sandy was so nice and very knowledgeable. I felt like she had my dogs best interest when making the diagnosis. It was easy to get an appointment and the facility was really clean. If you need a veterinarian this is your place!

Great vet. They understand what you want and are not trying to sell you things that aren't important to you and your pet. We originally went here when are dogs were younger then when we moved further north and started seeing a vet closer to the lake. They were always pushing surgery and unnecessary test and were not considering all options. The staff at Chisholm listened to us and understood what we were looking for instead of pushing their own agenda. Two thumbs up!

So grateful I found this place! My dog was not feeling well, but our regular vet was being extremely slow about returning calls and finally said they couldn't get us in til Monday. I was not going to let my pup be in pain for several days. I found Chisholm Ridge through a google search. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were able to get me in right away. Dr Johnston was very kind and gentle.

They saw us quickly without feeling rushed or pressured into extra tests, scans, etc. I am very happy and will likely become a regular patient, although I hope future visits can just be for regular check ups and not because of a sick puppy.

This place is great! I went there for the free checkup I got after adopting a dog from the Fort Worth shelter and I liked it more than the place I was going. The front desk girls are super nice and the woman vet (or one of them sorry I don't remember a name) is seriously some kind of cat whisperer. She somehow got my cat to cooperate like he has NEVER done for me. I'm not kidding. He was even purring. I now drive the extra couple of miles to come back.

Love this place Dr Johnston takes his time with all of our animals. They are rescue animals but he treats each and everyone of them like they are his personal dog.

Over the last three weeks, our cat hasn't been eating as well as she should. After charging us $350 for "tests", the vet concluded he doesn't know what is wrong with our cat and sent us home with the recommendation to try a different catfood. We are already feeding her Royal Canin so I doubt it is a food problem. So here we are $350 poorer with no prognosis as to what is wrong with our cat. This vet says the next step is to do expensive exploratory surgery. I sure won't be letting them do it.
