The Cat's Meow Veterinary Hospital

I asked what procedure for mouth stomitis they would use since i was getting a second opinion because the vet that diagnosed her was 30 miles closer. Here is what I received
: "Cold laser therapy is going to reduce inflammation in the area, and it may relieve some pain, but it certainly isn't going to reverse the damage. The only truly curative procedure for stomatitis is to remove all of the teeth.

Until that time the best treatments are usually steroids and pain control. Please note this surgery is generally quite expensive (3 to 4 thousand dollars) and the healing time cam be prolonged depending on how severe the disease has progressed (several months on steroids post surgery). Just giving you full disclosure."
$3000 to $4000 dollars? Is really taking advantage of people. Unbelievable.

Absolutely exceptional service and care. The receptionists are very kind. From the time you walk in…to the time they bring you to an exam room and the doctor walks in…the wait is maybe 30 seconds max. They are on the ball. I was very pleased with their fair prices. The lobby as well as the exam rooms are very clean. TCM is big on being a stress free environment and that they do very well! Dr. Irving is absolutely amazing!

She is thorough, caring and very knowledgeable. She explains everything in great detail and always makes sure that all of my questions are answered. I know my baby is in the best of care while at TCM. I am so so appreciative of the entire staff. I highly highly highly recommend this office as well as Dr. Irving. TCM have lifetime customers.

After formation of dreadlocks and general nuisance of long hair, I took my cat to Cats Meow to have a partial shave and be groomed. They didn't have to sedate and he looked and felt wonderful! I was pleased to see 3 resident cats roaming and greeting everyone They also showed me the boarding room where many kitty's loved to visit when owner was away.

The condos were filled with kitty toys, lots of room to play and placed were so they were able to visit safely with people and other fur balls. I have appreciated their veterinary services as well. They always speak with me about any treatments or vaccines given as well as suggestions in future. My most thankful moment was recently when my cat got stuck in tree SAP!

He had sap matted between toes and complete underside of his belly and they were able to fit me in the next morning. There was concern that his larger claw had been immersed in SAP however they were able to safely clean it. In fear they couldn't fit me in, I had called dozens of other places including animal hospital and PetCo/PetSmart and NO ONE dealt with cats even when their website may have listed cat grooming as a service they offered!? I cannot thank Cats Meow enough and will continue to be a loyal customer!

Dr. Follman and Natalie were amazing with my feral cat. This was her first time going to the vet so naturally I was very anxious. The staff handled her so well and now I'm bringing my other cat. If you've ever had issues with taking your cat to the vet, this is the place you want to go to! Also, they are up-front about the costs. In my experience, the costs are comparable to other vets I have gone to. They are very fair.

The best kitty vets anywhere. Saved my fur babbies numerous times from dire situations, easy to refill meds, always friendly, always able to fit us in their busy schedules. Can't be thankful enough to have a great vet clinic that specializes only in Feline care.

We recently had to put our 16 year old kitty to sleep at this location. They were very kind and patient with all of our questions as we struggled to accept the reality that he had cancer and it was his time to go. They gave us all the time we needed to think it over. My job as a mental health counselor is a spa day compared to the emotional labor required of these ladies. We were very grateful for the kind and patient treatment and that they were able to extend Samuel's life as long as possible.

PLEASE READ: (real experience) Update: I did get a long email from the hospital late night that day. I was overwhelmed and afraid that I left some rude comments hurting their business. I still trusted them and went back for exams. Long story short, I scheduled another appointment on Saturday, Jan 8 2022 since the ear yeast problem was not solved. And the hospital called me today saying they are going to cancel tomorrow's appointment because I left this bad review.

They ask me to delete this review. Okay. I guess I just have to give up on this animal hospital because I am not going to delete my review. Also, I am still going to leave my three stars here. I won't leave a hateful one star. Like I said to you, this is what I have experienced and I'm giving reviews based on it. I do like the doctors and staffs here but not the way the owner communicated with me. Again, from a even more disappointed client 1.10.2022 ------------------------ I am hesitated to leave a lower review rating since everyone else's rating is so high.

But I do feel that I need to share my real experiences to other cats owners. I did a lot research and tried to find a feline specialized hospital to my cats, so I made my appointments even I had to wait few weeks. The staff and doctors are very friendly and the environment is quite and clean. I recommended it to my friends right after the visit. HOWEVER, I noticed that two of my cats which went to the hospital had EAR MITES or EAR YEAST infection two weeks after the visit.

I did not immediately connect this to the hospital visit but I highly doubt it after I found out the other two cats which did not visit the hospital did not have infection. I did some research and called the hospital about my concerns. I explained this situation, my cats had never had this problem before, I clean my apartment everyday and they are always indoor plus they are on Revolution constantly, etc.

They did not investigate but replied that they did not think it's possible for my cats to get it from the hospital but it's possible for my cats to get it from my clothes or something. If it's even possible to get it from me then why it's not possible to get it from the hospital? I was hoping that the hospital can check if other cats at the hospital have similar infection or if staffs have practiced hygiene procedures.

But instead I paid for the prescription myself to treat my cats. I really do want to support animal hospitals and try to let them know my concerns. I'm not saying all these are certainly the hospital's problems, and really hope it's not their problems because I trusted them. But I wish they could also reflect on themselves instead of denying all possibilities. No cat owners want to see their cats suffering from any disease, so we try to take best care of them and educate ourselves. - from a little disappointed client 10.20.2021

I was recommended by my sister, and I must say I am very impressed by their professionalism. My cat needed emergency care, due to some large bloody holes on him. We called them and they very nice and honest. They said they were booked up, but we can drop him off and they will check him out. Upon drop off they were super prepared and had my pets info. already.

We dropped him off and not even an hour and a half later, I got a call and he was already done. Another thing is they gave me options that would be comfortable for not only me, but my cat as well. But the best thing they offer me is peace of mind that my pet will be taken care of. Oh, and the prices are fantastic. Thank you guys so much, for being an amazing staff and being so diligent.

The vet Susan Irving was very helpful with my cat and the price for the visit and the medication was very fair.

Always have great experiences with everyone here. I have a chunky kitty named Neal who has been struggling with new allergies this past year. He is feeling leaps and bounds better only a day after his recent visit. Thank you guys for helping keep my baby comfortable and being patient with his recurring issues. No other vet's office has ever made my three kitties feel more safe.

They always get right back to being themselves as soon as we're home and I've never seem any lasting signs of stress or discomfort- it means the world to me to have people we can trust : P.S. Neal, Mozzie and June say thanks for the new mouse

Dr. Loupe and Dr. Susan always take amazing care of my cats. Dr. Loupe is very compassionate with our boy, Binx. Dr. Susan is always knowledgeable and kind to our Sushi girl. We are so thankful to have them looking after our smallest family members!

This family of pet lovers is extraordinary! They are so much more than doctors, techs, assistants & admin. They truly care about your cat & work hard to become a partner with you & your family for your cat's good health & overall well-being. I simply can't say enough to praise Dr. Susan & her staff.

The staff here at the Cats Meow have always been kind and considerate, and most importantly they treat all my fur babies as if they were their own! The doctor always takes as much time is needed to explain their findings/next steps and answer any questions. I really appreciate everyone here and can't recommend them enough!

My sweet old lady, Chloe, was having some problems going to the bathroom. The vet was so nice, helpful, and informative. Previous vets made me feel stupid and like a bad fur mom for asking questions. I felt heard and comfortable talking to the doctor and she was amazing with my little lady and so gentle. She helped chloe feel so much better and I could never thank the cats meow or the vet here enough for helping me and my cat.

I will NEVER take any of my card anywhere else. Any amount of driving is worth the service, care, and assurance knowing my cat is in the best possible hands. My cat is usually nervous and shy around new people. She was rubbing all over and purring when the vet came in! She was more relaxed than I was through the whole thing. Will leave pics for attention. Again, i will never take my cats anywhere else!

Love this place, love the staff. I absolutely love how knowledgeable they are. My cats have EGC and two other vets couldn't diagnose it but the doctors at The Cat's Meow knew exactly what was going on and gave me comfort and knowledge on how to treat them in the future. I won't take my cats anywhere else!

Dr. Loupe was great! She was gentle and empathetic, yet knowledgeable and on top of treatment options available. Her assistant and the front office staff was also very nice and hospitable. We have found our "forever" Veterinarian. Thank you

My cat was throwing up since the afternoon the day prior to me calling. She was a new patient and they still squeezed her in that day and had her back home within a very short period of time. She was a little shaken(to be expected) but overall the experience was pleasant and streamlined. They gave my baby a bow tie!!

I thank God I found these people and I cannot even begin to adequately express my appreciation for their genuine concern about my fur-babies. Dr. Head, Dr. Irving, and Dr. Loupe - every one of them are magnificent! From the office staff, the vet techs and the team of doctors - ALL of them are just outstanding! I have 16 cats and they genuinely care about each and every one of them and providing the most exceptional of care.

Not only did they illustrate how amazing their clinic is by performing extensive oral surgery (full mouth extraction) for my Spottie and it being hundreds less than the estimate, they saved me THOUSANDS helping my Sylvester through a life-threatening situation this week! NEVER have I experienced the customer service, compassion for my kitties and immediate attention to their issues as with The Cat's Meow. I am a client for life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

The Cat's Meow this the very best. The entire staff provides the best customer service and provides exceptional care for my kitties!

I boarded my Flint and Steel here for about two weeks. Last year I boarded them somewhere else and I came back to two upset and erratic cats. This year I boarded them here and they were so relaxed when I got them home. A special thanks to Megan who sent me frequent photos of my cats. I missed them terribly but it was nice seeing them open up more and more every day!

You can see how much they opened up from the first and last photos she sent! Cats Meow is also where I take my cats for their physicals and any other issues. They fixed a dietary issue from Steel as well as helped ease Flints over-anxious behavior. The price is higher than what you'd expect from other places but I enjoy the fact that it's a cat-only facility, and so do my boys.

We take our cat "Tink" to the Cat's Meow when we go on vacation. She loves them and they love her! We get updates and pictures during her stay. I have total peace of mind knowing she's happy and enjoying her stay. I am so thankful this immaculate facility and their staff! I highly recommend them!

While I didn't like handing my baby over, I understand the precautions needed for Covid19. They were friendly and helpful. It's only been a few hours and I can tell that Lucky already feels a bit better.

Today was the first time for me to take my cat in to this vet and I couldn't be happier that I chose to take him here. Dr. Irving and staff were all so very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I'm so thankful for all of you! Keep up the great work!

I've been bringing my cat to them for kidney/digestive issues that I've been to several vets about, as well as internal medicine vets for biopsies and intestinal scopes. They prescribed intestinal bacteria specific antibiotics and during his examination, found that he had a tooth that was being resorbed. They got the tooth removed and did a thorough teeth cleaning, after which they gave me before/after photos and x-rays of his tooth/teeth which I've never gotten at other vets.

Everyone there is so wonderful and they even call regularly to check on how he's doing. Can't recommend them enough. I think because they treat only cats, they find things that might be overlooked at other vet offices.

The Cat's Meow took great care of my senior cat, Marbles for the first time last week and this week. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Drs. Sam Loupe and Susan Head were excellent with Marbles and gave great updates. Marbles had to stay overnight at her first visit which she normally doesn't do well in but this hospital is perfect for her! Just since last week she is already making an improvement and I'm grateful for the care she's received.

I'm over the MOON with this awesome vet! If I could give 10 stars I would! My kitty Tesla is a rescue, I've had him a little over 3 years. He recently started using the litterbox WAY more than usual, was lethargic and even tried to piddle in my purse! I knew something was wrong. I called, got an estimate, made an appointment. Just arrived home and have to brag on Dr. Susan and the staff.

They were more than sweet and so accommodating. He gave a lot of purrs and head bonks because he was so comfortable. I did cry when his test results came back, he does indeed have diabetes. She gave me a ton of advice and pointers. Was never making me feel rushed. The staff all of the staff came in to meet and give him a lot of GENUINE pets and loves.

I took a few rescues there to be neutered many years ago and they have always been awesome. I really cannot reccomend this place enough. Theres an awesome Phô place next door too. Go to the Cats Meow and thank me later!
