Village Vet broke my heart with their mistreatment and rudeness of my both myself and my pet. My family had been going to Village Vet for over 15 years (we love Dr. Trimble), so when I got my first dog, a golden retriever, naturally I went to Village Vet. Our first visit with Dr. Trimble when my dog Emma was 8 weeks old was great. Then covid happened and everything at Village went to crap. Dr. Trimble had to leave, but no one at Village informed me. Their reception staff became extremely rude and one of their vet techs in particular was so rude she shouldn’t even be working with animals. No appointment reminders. No follow up calls after surgery. No review of after care protocol post spay for Emma, including telling me she needed to come back in to have her stitches removed. When I finally called about the stitches not dissolving, they berated me for not bringing her in to have them removed sooner, even though I explained no one went over this with me. When Emma went in to get the stitches out she just met with a vet tech. I couldn’t go in with her. She was inside for 5 total minutes and she was so scared to go in. The vet tech brought her out and told me that because Emma was nervous, she was clearly “poorly bred” and this has been happening with all the Golden Retrievers in the area. She told me I needed to do a better job training her. Again, Emma was only 1 and was a covid puppy. At Emma’s first wellness exam at Village Vet with a new vet, the vet told me Emma had a heart murmur, which I thought was odd because Dr. Trimble never heard one. This vet told me to take Emma to a heart specialist which would have been an exorbitant expenses. Her first exam at Kulshan Vet - no heart murmur, just like Dr. Trimble’s findings.
Some of this has likely improved since covid in regards to scheduling and information, but the rude staff and vet tech likely has not. It feels very commercial there now. All of this actually gave me and Emma PTSD about going to the vet. I was terrified to go to the vet because I was so used to being berated and criticized after every visit. There was no welcoming or patient environment. No safe space to ask questions. My first visit to Kulshan Vet after switching from Village was like walking into another world. Everyone was so kind, patient, and nobody criticized me for Emma being a little nervous. It made me realize THIS is how vet visits are supposed to be. They’re supposed to be positive and encouraging

While traveling back home from our RV trip through Washington, our dog started feeling unwell. We decided to stop by Village Veterinary Clinic even though we didn't have an appointment. The front desk staff promptly accommodated us, and we were fortunate to see Dr. Lee-Gilson. She attentively listened to our concerns, conducted a comprehensive examination of our dog, and accurately diagnosed the issue. Her professionalism, communication skills, and expertise were outstanding. We felt genuinely reassured and well cared for during our visit to Village Veterinary Clinic.

I've had a few bad experiences at this practice with my Staffy. The staff just are not able to handle a large fearful dog at all. Very disappointing service. I've now moved vets and they were shocked at how badly the Village Vets had handled our dog's case. They're a chain vet with no real care or consideration for the animals they treat. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Only giving two stars because of location and the occasional nice vet I had dealings with.

Money orientated vet. Called for an emergency appointment, when I called they advised me this needed immediate attention (bank holiday extra cost) Unfortunately i lost my bank card and asked if I could possibly leave a cash deposit and call in Tuesday with balance (when banks are open) all of a sudden my pet did not need an appointment till late Tuesday. This discusted me. Paying customer for numerous years will not be returning or recommending to any one

Recently my dog was bit on a walk by two dogs and was left with an open wound. This was on a Sunday and I noticed that the vet clinic was open on a Sunday which is great! I brought Indie down in a panic with an open wound and their manner was so lovey! They took her in as an emergency patient and ensured me it would be ok and they stayed back after the practice was to close to ensure that Indie would get all attention needed and stitched her back up! She left in great form and they were so kind to her throughout the entire process!

Not a great experience with recent visit with my dog Max for surgery to have some cysts removed. Dog is fully recovered. However :- Poor patient communications about extent of surgery Elizabethan collar too big - dog couldn't walk Stitches left in which should have been removed (returned on 2 occasions for that) Results of bloodtest (paid for) had to be requested and was simply told all OK. Requested printout which I received but no explanation of results Vets seem too busy to explain!

I would like to say thank you so much to the staff of Village Vets. My little dog Ellie was unwell. I was so stressed and upset as she is my baby. When I arrived at Village Vets the friendly professional staff had Ellie checked over and diagnosed within 15 minutes. I can't thank the staff enough for fixing Ellie and reassuring me, I am incredibly grateful. I would highly recommend the Village Vets.

The staff at the Village Vet were very helpful when I called in an emergency with my dog Hooch who had lost the use of his back legs. Caroline gave him a thorough examination and identified the likely cause. Hooch was made comfortable for long enough to get him through the night before bringing him to my local vet the next day. They carried him to my car and phoned the next day to check on his progress.
