A native of northern Maine, Dr. Ouellette graduated from Madawaska High School in 1986 and went on to complete his undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montreal, earning a degree in Microbiology and Immunology. In 1996, he earned his veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada and followed with a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.Dr. Ouellette has practiced in southern Maine since moving back in early 1998 and became owner of Casco Bay Veterinary Hospital in March of 2005.

We have three pets who are patients at CBVH. They have provided excellent well-pet care and the occasional diagnosis and treatment for minor ailments, all with good humor and expertise. They seem to truly love the pets they are caring for, and are patient and understanding with their human clients as well. There are places nearby that are less expensive, but we don't mind paying a tiny bit more for the extra time and care they have to spend on our furry family members.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! They were all so kind and took great care of my senior dog. When I asked if they could trim his nails they said they would get what they could, and when he came back out after only maybe 20 minutes for the whole checkup, he was still a very happy boy AND had the nails on both his back feet nice and short - the hardest ones for me to get! I'm so glad we started coming here, and I know he will be in very good hands for all future visits.

Took my newly adopted dog for his 1st visit and they were great! I was not sure what to expect given that it was curbside and we had to wait outside but after the visit was over, the vet techs and vet came out and chatted with us about everything regarding his visit and made sure all our questions were answered.

My cat and I were readily accepted as new clients and, despite need for curbside services at this time, I was able to have an informative conversation with Dr. Gregory to handle all my questions and comments. Fees were affordable and I appreciate subsequent information and pet care tips. I thank my friend for recommending Casco Bay to me.

Though the waiting room is still not open, the staff were prompt and responsive. Dr Leven spent a while discussing my cats' findings with me outside near my car in cold weather. Much appreciate that this was not rushed. Also impressed this office does bloodwork ahead of an apptmt requiring general anesthesia (vs same day as procedure), to make sure animal is healthy enough for anesthesia.

We've been taking our 2 dogs to Casco Bay vet for 7 years. We feel so lucky to get the level of amazing care we do. Everyone who works here is so kind, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Both dogs adore going here, and actually get excited when we pull into the parking lot because they know a safe and friendly environment awaits. I really can't recommend them enough!

Dr. Jeff and the staff at Casco Bay are really caring, patient and knowledgeable. I really appreciate Dr. Jeff's thoughtful and patient post-visit calls where he takes as much time needed to describe and explain test results and next steps. He is more patient, warm and kind than some of my own doctors! You get the impression at Casco Bay Vet that they truly love our pets, and that goes a long way in feeling well cared for there.

You all are just amazing. I am so appreciative of your thoughtful attention and care of our senior dog. I was frazzled and stressed (and late for our appointment on Friday), but Kim took the time to chat with me about Olive in the parking lot.
