Dr. Kris and her staff always provide the best care and attention for both my babies. I travel 30min from a differernt part of town because I believe the care we get at Goldenview is unmatched. I love that my pets are not just a number here, it's personilized care!

If you're looking for a kind, compassionate, caring, understanding, and most of all smart vet Dr Kris is who you want to see. I have 3 elderly special needs dogs who require a multitude of things because of medical issues and Dr Kris and Goldenview Veterinary Hospital have been incredible with my boys! I could not have found a better place to take my animals or a better vet to entrust with their health care! We are so lucky to have Dr Kris as our vet!

Couple of incidents have left a bad taste in my mouth. First they double vaccinated my 11 month old puppy for rabies and then acted like it was no big deal and they had no fault in it. Me being the trusting idiot I tend be sometimes we took him back for another check up at 18 months and mind you he is alot bigger and a very vocal playful pup. Dr gardener decided his playfulness seemed to aggressive for her!

How do you plan to work around animals when you don't even have the common sense to distinguish between playfulness and aggression. Furthermore, I will not be going back and will be putting the word out that golden view vet is not at all a good place to take your furry family members!

I can't tell you how much I appreciated the love and support I got when I took my two little budgies to see a vet! It was my first time bringing in my little babies and I was nervous on so many levels. Fortunately, the front desk lady and the vet were amazing, patient and loving with my little ones. Forever grateful! The vet even called me the next day to see if Lolo was doing ok! And encouraged me to call with any questions! Not that many vets who would do so much for my tiny little creatures. that I love soooo much.

We've had a great experience with them so far! We brought our pup in for a quick vaccine booster appointment, but had another issue pop up before the appointment so we figured we would mention what was going on and get another appointment on the books. Instead of scheduling us to come back, they squeezed us in between appointments and took care of us on the spot which included running a urinalysis and bloodwork!

I was so taken by surprise that they helped us out same day even though we didn't have a full appointment with a doctor. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Really fantastic service! Blueberry and I greatly appreciate it! We will absolutely be coming back and bringing our other dog in too!

What a great experience! The staff was so nice and personable, not to mention the love they showed toward my new baby cockatiel! Experienced and helpful in all questions I came with. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kris did such a wonderful job with my guinea pig, Fynn, who had an ulcer in his eye. She was really sweet with him and did a great job of talking me through how to give him his meds at home. After our visit and the medicine, he recovered in just a few days. I'll be sure to bring him and his buddy Winston in for any future needs

Dr. Kris is amazing! She is so kind and patient with my rescue dog. Also should have added that we love Amanda and Angel! They both know their stuff and are so kind and helpful.

Dr. Ahlgrim is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Excellent avian care. Very nice clean facility with friendly staff. Happy I was able to get in. Peace of mind in having a Vet you can trust with your pet family.

Dr Kris is amazing. I learn something new every time I take my exotics there. It can be hard to get an appointment sometimes, but that is because they are good at what they do and the services they provide are extremely difficult to find. They even sent me a sympathy card when my lovebird died. Also, they rehab injured wildlife and have resident animals.

Hard to improve on perfect! I called with no lead time after being displaced by the Marshal Fire and you just said Yes with no hesitation. Thank you so much! Jade and Pip were glad too;

They are so nice and the prices are good. Best place to take your exotic animal.

Apparently not accepting new clients. Never heard of a vet that doesn't want a new client. All my dog needs is an updated vaccination. Can't recommend them because you won't even be able to go. Don't bother, go somewhere else that will actually accept your business. Take your business to wheat ridge animal hospital apparently. Reply to comment: I did not go to wheat ridge.

Not sure if that's true as I was able to find another vet the same day and schedule an appointment with them for that same Saturday (A Saturday nonetheless!). Thrive pet care ftw, they are great there

Love Dr. Chris. She and the Vet Tech Ann took great care of both of our dogs. Ann called the following day to see how both dogs were doing after getting vaccinated and the following day with test results.

Everything was great! It's so hard to find an avian vet, and even harder to find one you really like. And this is exactly what I found at GoldenView! The vet had a great "bedside" manner - treated both my bird and me very warmly and professionally. She took the time to answer all my (many!) questions, and did a thorough exam. I am so happy to have found such a great local resource.

We've had great experiences with both of our dogs in the past two years that we've been going here. All of the staff are friendly and so sweet with our dogs. We usually see Dr. Matt, but both Dr. Matt and Dr. Kris have been responsive and communicative regarding our dogs' care and helpful in filing claims with our pet insurance company. Compared to other vets we've been to, the vibe is warm, clean and professional yet relaxed.

Chose this as our primary vet because of the location but couldn't be happier! They are conscious of COVID but will let one person enter with the pet, which is helpful. Unlike the emergency care we went to that ordered an excessive battery of tests, this vet seemed to balance common sense with good medical advise. We enjoyed their personal touches with a welcome card and their accessibility over telephone for follow up questions. Thank you for helping keep our cat healthy and happy!

I had a rare healthy parrot that I left in the hands of GoldenView Veterinarian hospital run by a Kris Alhgrem. We boarded my Bronze-winged Pionus, named Bronco, because we had to visit a sick relative in Florida on Friday March 6th. While in the care of GoldenView Veterinarians in Golden, they conducted a wellness exam which results showed that Bronco, our parrot, was healthy. 2 days later, we get a call that the parrot fell off his perch and Dr. Kris Alhgrem sent us a picture of our bird, who had just past his wellness exam, dead.

The veterinarian sent us a horrifying picture of our bird. They sent a picture of our dead parrot to our cellphones. Autopsy was performed in house (to clear the vet of any wrongdoing, cremation followed). Needless to say, my wife and I were devastated. I need to now move because every thing about my present home reminds me of my poor 3 yr old bird that passed away due to something that happened in the vets office that the vet is not coming clean about.

Today, the doctor just called me to tell me that they were charging me $409.00 for the wellness exam, which showed he was healthy.

I am at my wits end, because I loved that bird with all my heart and these heartless vets are trying to take advantage of my sorrow. Additionally, the bird was proven 100% healthy by the very same veterinarian in the wellness exam conducted when he first arrived at the clinic. They cremated the bird to remove any trace of wrong doing and are now trying to charge me an excessive amount of money due to their incompetence.
