I have taken my 3 year old Cattle Dog/Lab mix Winston here for a few years now and I have never had a bad experience!

Last summer Winston got in an accident and lost one of his nails entirely. The Goodison staff made time for us right away and proceeded to share best tips with me to avoid infection. They recommended a few follow up appointments to check on the nail and ensure it was growing back normally. On the last check up, the vet looked over it and assured us all was well and did not charge us for her time! It was a great gesture and really showed how much they truly care about Winston's well being.

Highly recommend Goodison to all pet owners!

The very best vet clinic I have ever used. I have had dogs for over 40 years and Goodison is by far the best .

The vet center I had been going too since 1988 changed when the vet retired and his family took over. I didn't like the uncaring staff and incompetent. Goodison came highly recommended. My fears of change were put to rest. They were organized and extremely caring. Grateful to now have them for our 3 cats.

Every vet, tech, and receptionist I have been seen by there has been incredible. Even my anxiety-ridden dog doesn't mind going in and actually seems to get excited about it! They are SO patient with her and give her lots of attention, which she loves, so any lingering fear she has had of going to the vet's has disappeared She has a history of mast cell tumors and so requires surgery every year and a half or so to get them removed and they are always super clear about pricing and are willing to try to identify ways to safely cut the cost.

Obviously surgeries are expensive but I do think their prices are reasonable. I also really appreciate that the morning of the surgery you meet one on one with the surgeon to go over what's being done and address any concerns you have. Previous vets I have been to have had the expectation that you'll just drop off your dog and go, so having that meeting is a welcome change. Goodison is a bit of a haul for me but even with gas prices as they are it's a trip I'm more than willing to make to ensure my pets receive the best possible care

The worst practice I've ever been to in all the many animals I've had over the years. Went there thinking my dog had an infected tooth. Dry young female vet took her next door to the dental clinic for a few min exam with vet over there. Came back into the room and informed me that she has cancer. Just like that, cold and inappropriate deliverance of a devastating conclusion. Was given a couple of specialist referrals. Called them and they had no opening until July.

So after searching I found a wonderful cancer clinic in Canton Mi. That made an opening for her right away. Dr O examined her and couldn't understand at all why they would have concluded that. She suggested a CT scan to be absolutely sure there was nothing there. After the scan I gratefully recieved news from the oncologist that there is no cancer.

That she needs a dental cleaning. I would never wish Goodison and the veterinary dental practice attached to them on anyone. They should pay me back the 1400.00 the CT scan cost. Don't trust them with your pets that you love.

Today our Dinah Kitty has officially been granted a clean bill of health! When we adopted her last January, she was 6 pounds, sniffly, weepy-eyed, had runny poops (didn’t know), but was absolutely the sweetest kitty on the planet. Eternally grateful for the exceptional staff at Goodison Veterinary Center and Michigan Animal Dental for believing me when I called frantically asking for help, fitting us in several times emergently, and always being so kind and taking such great care of her. Looking forward to her first healthy birthday in 5 years! Thank you Goodison Vet and Michigan Animal Dental Teams!

I've never been here but I was referred here by my vet. It isn't common that any business will tell you, "thanks for the interest but your cat doesn't need us." I got a call from the dentist, after scheduling my kitty to have all his teeth extracted, that she had reviewed his chart and found all he needed were some medications. She consulted with my vet so that unless there were further complications, he doesn't even need a dental visit. The integrity here is *chefs kiss* great. Will be my first choice for any future dental needs.

I was able to come in a family member when it was time for her dog to pass. I don't go here ever, but I'd I lived around this area, this vet would be on the list. Our situation was kind of dire.very sad.but the Doctor Doug and all staff that got my canine cousin in and assisted in helping my two footed cousin. THANK YOU highly impressed.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. Do not bring your pet to be seen by these careless pseudo-doctors. Our healthy, 8 year old German Shepherd was prescribed pain medication four days ago after we suspected something was wrong with him. After his condition worsened, we brought him back yesterday just to find out he had a ruptured spleen, cancer, and an enlarged heart.

How does this go unnoticed? It is IMPOSSIBLE for all of these conditions to develop over one single weekend. Shame on this practice for not taking the life of our dog more seriously just last Thursday when we brought him in and choosing the easy way out by prescribing pain medication. You have forgotten the mere reason why you chose to attend veterinary school in the first place.

After doing some research, I have found out that cancer of the spleen is a leading cause of death in German Shepherds. Roush was a patient of this clinic for years, and he deserved to be checked out for the LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH FOR HIS BREED, four days before dying in emergency surgery.

I have been a customer of Goodison Veterinary Center for almost ten years and over that time we had many ups and downs. 4 years ago, I had 2 old dogs who left this world with peace and dignity by the gentle care of the Doctors and staff. However, since then the front desk staff has changed the tone of the entire office. When I would arrive they are indifferent and make me wait to be acknowledged.

They seem to wait each other out to see who will speak up or help the customer. During COVID it got much worse, until one day I was chastised in a loud voice for not following their strict protocols. Understand I am a nurse so I understand and respect the need for containment measures. I had made an appointment and called the desk when I arrived. They told me to come in so I walked within 6 feet of the front desk and stopped.

When inside the staff looked at me and said " DID YOU CALL IN. I said yes. She then said "AND WHAT ROOM WHERE YOU TOLD TO GO?" I said I don't recall. She said WHAT IS YOUR NAME? and then "GO TO ROOM_____." I felt belittled and bewildered, and when the Doctor arrived I expressed concern over the atmosphere that was now changing this once very nice office.

She apologized and said she would share this with the staff. After that I personally saw no change, so sadly we have left. I truly hope this helps others and possibly this organization to refocused and remember that their patients and their owners are a package deal. When one is hurt, confused or disrespected they both feel it deeply.

I live in Saint Clair Shores and my dogs vet was always booked way out and at one point I couldn't get him his shots on time. In order to get him covered for his shots, someone recommended this place to get him in. I have had a few emergencies and every time they have been so attentive and got him in quickly. I eventually switched over to be with them full time.

I drive 45 minutes to go here and don't regret it one bit. Today they even called before they opened to respond to a message. This is an amazing place and would recommend to anyone. Great job Goodison Veterinary Team and thank you!

I love this place! The doctor I had the pleasure of meeting was so perfect with my baby boy! The technicians were so sweet and kind. The service was FAST and in my opinion they went above and beyond! The price was extremely reasonable as well : I will definitely go back, although I hope my dogs don't make us go back haha! Very professional and respectful. It is more important to me to find people, and a place that treat my dog with respect and love than to find a place that is close to home and cheap.

Have always had good experiences with Goodson,have had good experiences with every vet we have seen there. Our pets are our family

Dr. Catalina takes care of our ferret Domino, she is amazing! He had a very rare tumor and she got it out, now he's even better than before! He's very comfortable and loves being around the staff so I know they're great people, plus the girls are pretty funny;

I love everything about this clinic! even after moving an hour away I still go there for the wonderful staff and especially Dr Yee!!!! You will never find more compassionate people to care for your animal's than the staff here!!!

We used to visit another local vet until just recently when two things happened. #1, the vet we previously visited changed their days of business, and are no longer open on Saturday’s. #2, our favorite veterinarian Dr. Kristin Beeson relocated to the Goodison Veterinary Center....
Today was our first visit to see Dr. Beeson at the Goodison Veterinary Center. The employees at the GVC were very nice, and Dr. Beeson was as AWESOME AS ALWAYS!!!

We've been taking our little Lucy to see Dr. Catalina for a couple years now. We love her! So does Lucy! She's kind, patient, knowledgeable and takes her time to explain things. Everyone at the clinic (reception, vet techs, etc) are so nice and welcoming. I have and will continue to recommend Goodison!

They have helped me through all the bumps and bruises and the hard decisions that as Animal guardians have to make
They are all very kind and caring and respectful
I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through it if it wasn’t for Dr. Doug loving care for my cats I am forever grateful

They are some of the nicest, most professional people you will ever meet. they are very up front with you, but not pushy the way some vets can be. I just can't think of anywhere you can get this kind of love for your pets.

Our experience at this vet center has been absolutely amazing since day one; Dr Molly you are an amazing person, and we are so thankful we were referred to you. The staff at this place, beyond professional, they treated my dog like their own from the get. I was so scared to walk into this place and get the judgmental looks because my animals is a pitbull, but I didn’t get those looks, matter of fact I got compliments of how well behaved my dog is, and how he was such a “gentleman” - Goodison vet center, please whatever it is you’re doing, keep doing it!
