We are a full service pet care facility. The hospital, led by veterinarian Dr. Michael R. Moyer, offers a full range of services, specializing in preventive care exams, vaccinations and surgical care. Dad wasn't kidding when he said Brady is a momma's boy, he came prepared with his gloves and all most of our patients are happy to see us, but not all of them. Check your pups pantries! Federal officials warn against eating any of dozens of food items because of a multistate salmonella outbreak. Just a reminder!

The hospital, led by veterinarian Dr. Michael R. Moyer, offers a full range of services, specializing in preventive care exams, vaccinations and surgical care. Some services offered include lab testing, X-rays, heartworm testing, skin care, ear care, dental work, screenings and more. Additional services include wound repairs, spaying/neutering and declawing.
Pet insurance works a little differently than people insurance. With human insurance, you'll normally pay a co-pay when you go to your doctor. The doctor's office then bills your insurance company and you receive a bill for whatever portion you are responsible for. With pet insurance, you pay the veterinarian in full at the time of your visit.
Below are some questions that we're often asked. If you'd like to have your question addressed here for everyone, please email it us at info@bridgewaterveterinaryhospital.com and let us know that you'd like it to appear on the website. A: If we have a pretty good handle on the type of infection (bacterial, yeast, mixed) and your ability to treat it, and if we've seen your pet within the past 12 months, we'll refill.

After being referred to this veterinarian by a close friend and our dog trainer, we were pleasantly surprised by the demeanor and personality upon entering the office. It was clean and inviting. The entire staff was very thoughtful and caring. Dr. Moyer was extremely nice and very patient. He listened to all of my questions and gave me all of my options. So glad that we switched veterinarians.

Without doubt the greatest vet practice I've ever seen. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, the vets take their time listening to concerns and explaining, rather than rushing you out. I've never waited longer than 30 seconds in the waiting room. They try to schedule dog and cat appointments at different times so that cats don't get nervous waiting.
But hand down, the greatest part is the vet (Dr. Moyer I believe? I haven't met the other one but I hear she is also good.) He is so honest and intelligent. He's like the Bill Nye of cats. I'd trust him with my life. Anyway, best place to take your furry family members.

I decided to try a new vet (2009) and this vet was recommended by a neighbor. I took my dear sweet 9 yr old tuxedo cat "Oreo" for a checkup. He was fine, just seemed a little lighter in weight. Well, the whole ride over to this new vet, I assured Oreo that this wouldn't take too long, just a check up and we'd be home soon. Well, that didn't. happen.
They took Oreo in the back, told me he was in CHF and they were going to give him fluids. WHAT?! No way was he in CHF. No weight gain or water retention. He is here because he is a little lighter in weight and fine in every other way. This is just a check up! Well they did give him fluids. The next thing I saw was my Oreo running frantically.
