My dog was having some stomach issues, I called and was able to have him seen that day. I had a friend go and drop him off since I had already left for work that morning. The staff called to tell me he was ready and I told them as soon as I got off I would come and get him. I do not get another call until 4:50 to ask if I was planning to pick him up because they closed at 5.
I informed the woman I was coming right away but I would be late because I was under the impression they closed at 6 (per their door and website). When I was three minutes from the building I got another call saying they were closing and I could pick him up at 7AM I begged them to just wait a couple of minutes I was only three minutes away to which they told me no.
I sat in the parking lot for about 5-10 minutes in disbelief when another car pulls in the parking lot and goes around back an comes back with a dog, I asked if she worked there and she said no she was just a family friend but she also thought they closed at 6 so they put her dog in the back so she could pick her up later. So due to the staff's poor communication my already anxious dog had to spend the night in an environment he is unfamiliar with without my consent. I would not return here under any circumstances.

Thank you so very much for taking such good care of our REX over the years and for being so compassionate when the time came to let REX cross the Rainbow bridge. Dr. Whitworth and his staff were excellent in all dealings with them. Thank you Jennifer for making all of the arrangements to take care of REX's remains. I highly recommend Whitworth Animal Clinic to take care of your pet. Wayne

Dr. Whitworth and his staff are amazing! Jennifer, the manager, is very knowledgeable and kind. The technician Paige is very experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate! Gabby and Hannah are also awesome technicians! Olivia is the lead kennel tech and she works wonders building the trust of nervous animals. There are many other great staff members who will treat your pets like their own! I never hesitate to take my crew in for veterinary services at this wonderful clinic!

I took my three dogs to get their annual check ups here today for the first time. The staff was so nice and welcoming, and all three of my dogs loved them. Dr. Whitworth made sure to listen to all of my questions and concerns, and answered them very thoroughly. Truly a great experience, and I’m so glad I decided to take my dogs there! Will definitely stick to this clinic in the future, and will recommend to my friends/family.

Great service, got me in last minute. (7 months ago) Recent visit May 2021: took my pups in for shots, wellness check, and nail trimming. The staff from front desk to the Dr. treated us wonderfully. The staff is really great about printing out price estimates for various services as I've been to other local vets and walked with receipts ranging from $300-$500 a visit. Thankfully the pups are healthy.
I didn't realize how traumatizing nail trimming can be for a frenchie, he's already screaming bloody murder before the clippers actually touch him. No other place in town can actually get those nails trimmed, it takes 3 staff to manage him during the process. I have found the service is great and prices are reasonable.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Whitworth for 20 years and I've always thought he was great, but this week, he and his staff have shown me how truly caring and wonderful they are. My little 5 lb fur baby was badly injured. I have been in there every day and they have gladly helped me get her to eat and take her medications. Jennifer is absolutely fantastic.
She has gone out of her way to help. I will forever be grateful for their kindness and support. On top of it all, they are far more reasonably priced than anywhere else. I will never go anywhere else.

Dr Whitworth, Jennifer and all the rest of the staff are amazing! My family has been using Dr Charles since he began his practice in Madison. He is so caring and he takes his time with any questions or concerns you have. Jennifer has a huge heart and a love for the patients and the “parents”. I highly recommend Whitworth Animal Clinic for excellent care, companionate hearts, and all the warm and friendly staff. Thank you for always taking care of all my “babies”!

When your baby has to go to the vet every day for testing you worry. But then you get to the vet to pick him up and you find him being carried around like the baby that he is! Everyone that I saw in the office told me how much they loved him and how sweet he was. I’m so thankful they loved him so much and took such great care of him! He’s finally on the road to being healthy because of all of you! Huge thank you to Dr Whitworth and the whole team from us and Mikko!

Dr Whitworth and his staff are the best of the best! I trust them completely and know my babies are in good hands. I really want to recognize Colleen for going above and beyond today. She sent me an email just to make sure that I received a rebate for the cat food I purchase through them. She had to track me down when the rebate came back to them in the mail because I had moved.
She didn't have to but she did! How awesome is that??!! This is a perfect example of the excellent service provided. All the gals at the front desk are wonderful as is the rest of the staff!! Thank you very much for all you do...all of you!!

I owe a debt of gratitude to the staff at Whitworth. A while back my puppy Jamie, a year old Dachshund/Scottish terrier mix ingested rat poison. I was unaware that she had consumed the poison and wasn't sure what was wrong when I brought her in. The team at Whitworth quickly diagnosed her symptoms and began treatment immediately. She was near death when I brought her in and I feared the worst.
The team kept her over night, and after she returned home I was forced to return with her when her condition quickly degraded. The team never gave up on my puppy, and one of the staff even volunteered her own dog for the blood transfusion that Jamie required. After a few days of recovery, Jamie was back to her energetic and hyperactive self. Without the team at Whitworth's quick action and attention to my pup, I'm sure Jamie would've never made it through.
She cares the name of a good friend who passed away, and with his spirit and their help she still welcomes me home every day! My appreciation for their hard work can not even be expressed in words, but I hope they are aware of the great things they are doing in that clinic!

Stay away from this place! It's all about the money and I felt like the vet (who never even introduced himself) was so fake and phony. My kitten checked out perfectly, yet they want to do all the same tests in 3 weeks just to be sure. That makes no sense except to be able to charge me another $119.00. Soon after walking in the office manager came out and treated the receptionist horribly because she had made a scheduling error.
I wish I had walked out then. If they don't respect one another then there's not much chance they will respect my pet when I'm not there to look out for her. They can keep all their samples and pretty folders with charts. I'll try to find somewhere that cares more about animals than money.

My dog died because they assumed from blood tests that she had only pancreatitis due to her diet. No x ray was done, therefore no one saw that she had a foreign body in her stomach and intestines. You would think the first thing that should have been done was an x ray to rule that out. I lost all trust and will not take my other dog back.
