As part of your pet's annual vaccination program, we will give your pet a thorough physical exam. This procedure allows us to determine the overall physical health of your pet. It allows us to examine your pet for problems that may be considered breed specific. This simply means that certain dogs and cats are pre-disposed to certain health problems.
We are dedicated to helping your pet achieve the highest quality of life. Our team provides exceptional care while showing respect for you and your beloved companion. Becoming a client is easy. Feel free to call our veterinary clinic at 256-851-PAWS(7297) to book an appointment and we'll gather the registration information over the phone.

I make a 30 minute drive from west Madison to Chase Animal Hospital for all my pets. It's worth it. There are a lot of options in Madison for vet care, but this place has A+ care and attention. I fell in love the first time I brought my dog here a few years ago, and the vet that saw her got on his knees and played with her for a couple of minutes to get her comfortable for her exam.
I've seen many of their vets over the last few years, and I've had great experiences with all of them. Several of the vets I've seen have followed up with a phone call a week or so after our appointment to make sure everything is going okay or to go over test results personally with me. Also their reception staff is amazing! Everyone I've interacted with has been so helpful and gone out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed for my furbabies.

My boyfriend and I had two friends independently recommend Chase for boarding our puppy, which is why we decided to go with them when boarding him for the very first time. We knew it wasn't going to be the easiest experience for him being away from us for the first time, and when we picked him up on Sunday the two employees said he had an accident in his crate in the morning and they had to clean him up before they brought him out to us.
We picked him up in the afternoon, which made us wonder if he had not been taken out of his crate all day if he still wasn't cleaned up. Once the employee brought him out, he had a TERRIBLE stench of urine and was clearly still not cleaned up. His fur on his underside was yellow and clotted. She didn't mention anything of it, handed him to us and went right back inside.
I will also say we paid an extra $8 per day for a "TLC package, " meaning he'd get a little extra love and attention. Seeing that he sat in his own urine for half a day, I don't think he received adequate attention. Perhaps they are just understaffed or the employees are not properly trained, but we will NEVER bring our dog back here for boarding, even as an adult, and will recommend against it to our friends.

I have been coming to Chase Animal Hospital for a few years and always had a great experience but yesterday they went above and beyond. I had to say goodbye to my dog of 16 years. I was a complete mess, could barely communicate and was an all around basket case. Every single staff member took such great care of me and had so much compassion every step of the way. I will never forget it.
