Pets today can live longer, healthier lives than ever before - in part because of vaccines that help protect them from deadly infectious diseases. Over the years, vaccines against dangerous diseases have saved millions of pets and virtually eliminated some fatal diseases that were once common. Unfortunately, many infectious diseases remain a significant threat to dogs and cats that are not vaccinated.
Do you have a new puppy or kitten? Congratulations! One of the first things you should do when you bring your new pet home is to introduce him or her to us - your veterinary care team. The first visit is a unique chance to get you and your new pet off on the right foot. Your puppy or kitten visit will include a "nose to tail" examination.
Does your best friend have bad breath? Despite what many pet owners may believe, "dog breath" is not just a nuisance - it is a sign of an unhealthy mouth. Bad breath is caused by bacteria. Over time, bacteria leads to plaque and tartar buildup on your pet's teeth. The result is bad breath, reddened gums, and other common signs of dental disease.
Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Whether your pet is a youngster, a "senior citizen", or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet.

I have taken my cats to Brannan for years and today I called them because my cat is sick and I was told since they haven't seen my cat in so long that I am no longer a client of theirs. That they are no longer taking new people and they have no openings until June. So I'm going to someone new and they got me in today.

I've taken our 14 year old husky there multiple times throughout his life since the day we got him as a puppy recently doctor Douglas performed procedures on him for an ear ache which was unsuccessful. After 2 visits and $350 later said he/staff would need surgery when I called about it he/staff stated he was unable to perform those procedures why would you offer something that you cannot perform why would you prescribe any medications if you are uncertain at all!
My overall opinion doctor Douglas is uneducated with animals. There's more to a pet's health than just vaccinating! I'm not 100% confident that he knows what he's actually doing but just basics. The staff and the assistant Doctor that worked on our dog I give 4 stars. Doctor Douglas that 1 star is for you! And the diagnosis for his eyes is also incorrect your methods don't work! We relied on you. And your methods have failed.

We have been with the Brannan clinic for many years now, they have been the most caring and expert vets you could ever want! When we had to have our dog out down, they gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, and made sure it was quick and painless, it brings great peace of mind to know he was in no pain at the end. We've been taking our new dog to the clinic as well, and they're just as good and professional as ever! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend using Brannan Vet for your Veterinary needs. The staff is very professional and truly makes your pet feel like part of their own. Dr Walt and his staff are always happy, they always have a smile on their faces, and they always provide excellent customer service. I couldn't possibly expect more than what I receive every time I go there!

Extremely disappointed in this office. Made an appointment with a slot that was a cancellation for a possible eye issue in my cat. Unfortunately my doctors appointment ran way over so I had my daughter call and ask if it was okay if I ran about 15 minutes late or if at all possible to reschedule for a different day. She was told that the office was slammed with patients and they only had one Dr. due to one Dr. retiring.
I had an appointment, I wasn't trying to schedule one. Well when I got out of my appointment, I called the office and explained my situation and again was told that they were slammed and so forth but she wanted me to know the Dr. feels that an eye issue with my cat is very important and should be addressed soon! I reminded her that I was not trying to cancel just informing I was going to be late.
Well she would not see us if I was going to be late and than informed me that her schedule was booked for the next week and I should take my cat to the emergency Clinic because this could be a serious issue. I called the office at 200pm and my appointment was at 220pm and I was asking if we could still be seen if I was 15 minutes late or reschedule and she basically told me go see someone else. Is this showing care for your animals? Or is this the office closes at 530pm and I want the hell out of here on time mentality? Yeah I'll go somewhere else. All 4 of my animals will go somewhere else.
