There was a time when parasites like fleas, ticks, and roundworms were considered mostly a nuisance. Now, however, we know that parasites can cause serious illness and even death in pets. Finnegan despite his senior years still has the energy of a puppy! All thanks to the wonderful care he receives at Lewis Animal Hospital. Recently Finn underwent surgery on his eyelid and he recovered quickly and was comfortable. All my questions are always answered, and I am greatful to know Finn receives the best of care for routine health checks and surgical care when needed at a fair and reasonable fee.

They are great with my pups! Prices are good and care is reliable. They work hard to get you in when you need care ASAP! We had a dog we lost this past fall and they were straight up with us and I appreciated that. They could have recommended things that would not help but instead chose to give us recommendations that were real. We ended up losing him but their honesty and care was appreciated.

Baby Graycee loved her visit. We were referred to Dr. Mason but a current pet owner because of dissatisfaction with a previous vet. The front office staff are amazing, so friendly and courteous. Dr. Mason and the techs, keep your pet with you in the exam room and does the exam and needed shots right there so you can be with your pet, so they know they are safe. Dr. Mason is very kind and gentle and you can tell a true animal lover. So glad to have my Graycee at such an amazing Vet office.

I got my baby at 6 wks old (too young) and had him until he was 16 1/2. Dr. Mason and Dawn saw him from puppy visit until his golden years. My poor baby had many medical issues throughout his life and Everytime Dr. Mason and Dawn were there to care and treat him back to health! I am so grateful for all Dr. Mason and Dawn have helped me and my family through. When I have another dog join my family without a doubt she/he will be seeing Dr. Mason and Dawn! -Ashlie

Always a warm friendly welcome upon arrival, never a long wait to be seen by Dr. Mason and his staff. My elderly dog recently received excellent care for a surgical procedure and all my questions and concerns are always answered. I find that the cost of treatment is always very reasonable as I am on a fixed senior budget, but most importantly my little dog is always happy to greet the staff and Dr. with a happy tail wag and shows complete trust in their gentle touch and care.

One of my street rescues has been sick and the first vet we went to didn't even bother to run test. Dr. Mason and his staff, on the other hand, have been nothing but amazing with my grumpy boy. They've run tests, they've loved on him and told him what a good and handsome kitty he is and showered him with love. To go from a vet that didn't think he was worth the effort of helping to one that has gone above and beyond to try to help is amazing. Other places might be cheaper, but the quality of care and compassion is unmatched.

After I came home and one of my dogs could no longer "jump up" I made an appointment for the next day. He touched my dogs back and my dog sat down so he stated he had a "strained back". No x-rays or anything else. Sent me home with a pain med and told me to make him stay still for a few days and they would call and check up on him. They never called.
Three days later his hind legs were paralyzed and a real vet sent me up to an amazing hospital in Farmington for emergency surgery. I wish I could sue this place. And the super aggressive blonde tech is a real piece of work as well. In this instance you CAN judge a book by it's cover. if you care about your pets, I would drive on by.

I love Dr Mason and his staff. I have been taking my dogs to Lewis animal hospital since 2011. I originally went because it was near to my house, but now I would keep this veterinary surgery even if I lived miles away. Dr Mason is so good to my dogs, you can tell he genuinely cares for them and all his little (and big) patients. They do complimentary nail clippings too which I am extremely grateful for, as I hate to do that! i get them trimmed every time I go! Well worth taking your pets here.

We love it here... and so do our pets. If our pets didn't, we would be going somewhere else. LOL. It's a small town kinda of feel place, that make us feel like family. We have medical professionals in our family, and feel confident enough in saying that our pets are in good hands. (We can spot a quake I should say.) We don't get that feeling from this vet. They seem to always care and show concern. Very happy with this place.
