They appear very caring and they provide excellent aftercare instructions and so forth but my great Dane was diagnosed with severe allergies due to some unusual purple red bloody pimples on her face and Frequent redness around her head and chest areas. We've been treating her with allergy medication. She has become lethargic and limping over the last couple of months and we took her to another vet and found out that she has had BLASTOMYCOSIS for some time and it has gone into her bones.
The primary diagnosis at first was bone cancer but were told we had the option to test her for Blasto and it came back positive. This is a very serious illness that could possibly kill. Heartbreaking. I've read up on this since and it is more common than you would expect. And can be frequently misdiagnosed as allergies or cancer. The funky looking pimples are a indication as well as symptoms normally associated with allergies. Or a unexplained limp if it's gone on for too long without treatment. That means that it's in their whole body by then. Please be aware of this fungal disease.

If I could give a negative star I would. We have been clients of this practice for many years, and with many dogs. Unfortunately with the change in ownership I have seen a major shift in care and customer service. I will never go back to this practice. My female starts becoming Ill and I take her in. They diagnose the issues as caused by arthritis. Wasn't agreeing but hey you are the vet.
As 4 days pass my female starts discharging blood from her back area. Signs of pyometria. I take her in again and they diagnose it as such. Which requires emergency surgery. What do they tell me? We can't do it today we are having a meeting. All vets were upstairs and no one would help us. My female is becoming septic and they tell us good luck and send us out the door. . There is no way that should have happened. Especially when the dog is an actual client and not a walk in.

Love this team! During the pandemic my 11yr old dog when he was dying. His original vet refused to see him. It was difficult to try to find someone to ease his suffering. They took very good care of him and me. I vowed they would always have my business after that. Now we have our 10 year old, an 19 month old and our 9 week old. Our 2 younger pup only know them and love going there. Thank you Bargersville team
