My Pet's Vet is a full service veterinary clinic for all family pets: dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and other small mammals. Here, all your family's pets can see the same doctor every day. We are locally and independently owned, not corporately owned like some other clinics in the area. Why is that important?
We genuinely care about our clients who we often know by name. Dr. Beatty knows his clients and their pets. You see the same primary care doctor at every visit and so should your pet.

Services
Veterinary medicine is undergoing a transition where large corporation chains are purchasing local veterinary clinics. Much in the way it has been in human medicine, Veterinarians in those clinics have much less time in the exam room with clients and pets. While this system increases profits, it does not benefit patients.
Our clinic and staff offers a wide variety of services ranging from in depth routine wellness care to surgeries. No matter what service is rendered, we are committed to upholding the best care possible for our clients and patients. Wellness care is the most common type of appointment made at My Pet's Vet.
Regular medical care is the best gift you can give your pet. Wellness care helps ensure that your pet stays as healthy as possible, avoids becoming ill, and lives comfortably. Wellness care includes annual physical examinations and timely laboratory screening tests. For adult pets younger than 7 years old, wellness appointments are needed at least once a year.
We regularly see avian patients (including chickens) for wellness care, injuries, and illness. As prey animals, they hide illnesses until severely ill and can no longer put up a false-front of health. In the wild, birds would be picked out by predators if they showed any signs of illness or being different.

Abby and Dr. Beatty were very pleasant and took great care with in our first visit with my sweet dog Adler. You could clearly see the experience and wisdom that comes with it as he was examining Adler. They were very gentle and took appropriate care with a shy, older dog. Very thorough, kind, and personable experience. 10/10, would recommend

Dr. Beatty and his team are extremely kind, compassionate, and patient! Dr. Beatty has been my dog's vet for the past 13 years and I would not want it any other way! He has helped me navigate my pup's senior years and for that I am forever grateful! He responds to all my concerns and always calls me immediately with any updates! Thank you Dr. Beatty and team!

Refuses to see a CHINCHILLA (tiny animal) without a $150 introduction fee. $150 to introduce him and do a freaking fecal test? THAT'S RIDICULOUS! You want a vet that doesn't cost a ton of money just to find out what's possibly wrong with your animal, this isn't the place to go. They don't care about your pet, they care about the money. Thanks to you, my chinchilla won't be able to get help because EVERY vet is the freaking same charging ridiculous prices just to bring him there, and thanks to you I get to watch him suffer because I'm disabled and can't afford this.
He gets to suffer, and more than likely die at the end of all of this, and you guys don't care. Any vet that cared about animals, like TRUELY CARED about them, would work with families to afford the visit, and the help, even if that means taking a risk on a payment plan. Because it's about the animal. Don't ever lie and say you care about animals when you don't.

I recently switched to this vet from another vet that was becoming too hard to schedule appointments with. Dr. Beatty has great rapport with my dog Ziggy. She's extremely calm, almost in a relaxed trance. She received shots today and didn't make a peep. Vet work was done in my presence opposed to my previous vet who just took my dog in another room. Seeing the same vet each appointment is great and makes a huge difference. I'll be returning here for my future vet needs.

I found Dr. Beatty while searching for a second opinion for my hedgehog, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. I could not be happier with the care he and the clinic staff provided for my baby. They're incredibly compassionate and empathetic - We felt very well-cared-for! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Beatty at My Pet's Vet to anyone in need of care for their pet!

I cannot say enough to describe how amazing My Pet's Vet is and just how grateful I am for this clinic! Dr. Beatty is the kindest veterinarian I have ever met. He truly cares about your animals and is very knowledgeable. Maggie was super sweet and helpful in scheduling my pet's appointment and also assisting throughout. My Pet's Vet will always be worth the two hour drive for me, and I would not hesitate to bring any of my pets here! They are especially good with reptiles, not to mention one of the only clinics in the area who actually treats exotics. You will not find a better clinic than My Pet's Vet!

There's a lot to say here. I'll try to be brief, but I'll likely linger on. We started our dogs' pet care at My Pet's Vet because of convenience. That was nice for about a year. Then after a couple of up charges without our consent, I became suspicious. The final and third strike was a wrong diagnosis of anaplasmosis. That's a big one to get wrong.
We were suspicious because of the circumstances surrounding the diagnosis. We took our dog to another vet for a work up and it was negative. Dr. Beatty blamed his lab. I'll give Dr. Beatty the benefit of the doubt. When I told him why we were leaving and not happy with the services he performed, he blatantly lied and said he talked to my wife about doing a full urinalysis work up for a 3 month old puppy that was peeing in the house. Yeah, you read that right. Puppy pees in the house= $125 test.
No urinary tract infection. No consent was ever given by my wife. He says he remembers it differently. If you have ANY slight suspicions about your vet, such as giving shots to your pet in another room, or adding on ear drops as a preemptive measure to the bill, trust your gut. Get a new vet!
