Just a heads up, they apparently aren't accepting new patients as of June 2022. :

We have a sweet little Italian greyhound that loves everything but the vet visits. I highly recommend Doctor Carter she has a incredible bed side manner and very patient. Once Ted became stressed, she stopped and give him a minute to calm down, then cleverly distracted him. He left a happy camper. We can also highly recommended Nurse James and Nurse D both very passionate and helpful.

Love our vet. Never have any issues with appt when it's urgent and take the time to talk through everything in my visits.

We LOVE JP animal clinic! we have been bringing our two dachshunds there since summer 2020. i got to go inside with them for the very first time ever just last week, and was so pleasantly surprised to see how much they love it there. the staff is always so kind, and it's clear that they treat the animals that come to see them with so much love and care.

So kind and they are so sweet to my poor old dog. Fantastic doctors

Dr Carter is very good The problem is the receptionist They block access to the docs I was unable to get a call back from the doc Despite telling the receptionist that I thought my Cat was dying Her response was "well you can bring the cat somewhere else"

We have been bringing our puppy here for 5 months. There is well over a month to be seen, even when the vet says "this could be incredibly serious, bring him to the hospital. But no we don't have time to see him." A very much "money first, care second" mentality. You will get overcharged 5x for every single thing provided to you. I would not recommend JP animal clinic to anyone. We will be driving an hour out of the city now to receive care. If you care about your pet, do not bring them here.

The staff is knowledgeable and considerate. We have an elderly cat and they are very gentle with him and the doctors are helping us balance his quality of life with his serious health concerns. Even their two office cats are friendly!

I have been going for three years with my dog, and I keep getting disappointed. I always feel put down when I leave there, instead of being supported. It's like they never know who we are when we visit (there's a chart, right?!), the prices are high, and the medical advice I have gotten (change of dog food for example) has not proven to be helpful at all. I also feel blamed for my dog being scared and not cooperative enough during the exam. I am going to look elsewhere.

I have been bringing my medium size dog here for about 6 years. Once for an urgent visit, but otherwise just annual check ups. My pup is an anxious mess and has serious trust issues. It's why I love him. The folks here are incredibly patient and kind, even if it is closing time. His exam probably took twice as long as others because of his anxiety, but they were so kind about it.

They give practical information and useful suggestions about vaccinations, behavior and concerns. They don't pressure and, after they provide the info, they let me choose what I think is best.

The vets here are incredibly paternalistic. Even when they are giving bad news they just throw a diagnosis at you and try to race out of the room. When I have important choices to make about the veterinary care that my dog receives, I want to be able to make informed decisions about how to proceed, and they failed to give us their professional opinion on tons of occasions- from how to treat a simple puppy parasite to how to manage larger injuries. Their general stance on anything regarding your pets seems to be- "whatever, I don't care". Definitely cat people.

We took (Teddy) Yorkie mix for his very first visit after adopting him months ago and the staff there could not have been nicer. From the time I called to schedule the appointment (by the way called them at 11am they scheduled it on the same day @ 1:40pm!) To the moment we walked in, everyone treated us, and Teddy, like we'd been going there for years at least that how I felt.

They were prompt, communicative, very informative and most of all seemed genuinely concerned and interested in what we had to say and the needs of our little buddy. In less than a hour he got his full examination not to mention a host of other services and we were on our way. I was worried about how Teddy would react being that he's super hyper and this his first ever visit to a vet, however, the well trained staff showed excellent poise and patience and made the experience for us all a very pleasant one. I'm happy to say we've found our vet. Thank you to you all! See you again and again and again but, not too soon I hope.

I rarely write reviews, but these guys are so awesome they deserve it. Been coming here for years with both our previous and current dog. Great staff, caring vets, easy to get appointments, clean facility, and priced better than the MSPCA. They treat our dogs like family - wouldn't go anywhere else!
