At Home Veterinary

When our dog was suffering at the end, we called about 5 vets before we found At Home Veterinary. They made arrangements for Dr. Gransky to be at our home within 10 minutes and took care of all the details so we could focus of grieving. The sympathy card they sent after was beautiful. Their compassion and care are evident.

If I could rate more than five stars, I would. I am so happy to have found At Home Veterinary and I would highly recommend them! I have two boy cats who were in need of a new primary care doctor. One of them has a health condition with his heart. I didn't want to have them seen by a random doctor at Banfield. I called At Home Veterinary and was assigned an appointment pretty quickly.

The doctor and nurse arrived on time and were super nice. They treated my boys with love and kindness. I was so impressed - the doctor definitely did her research because she knew all of my boys' medical dates and notes, etc., etc. This proved to me that she cared about my boys and their health. When the exam was over, I received copies of all documents (vaccination records, bill, and visit notes) via email without me even having to ask! Incredible! Overall, I am so happy.

I could literally cry of happiness now that I found someone who will care for my boys and make house calls so we don't have to deal with the scary carrier and car. Thank you, At Home Veterinary!

I highly recommend this vet practice- they are knowledgeable, kind, and diligent in helping pet owners through the joy and sorrow of having pets! My cat Pookie was well cared for, thank you Dr. Gransky and all the staff.

At Home Vet is just excellent. They are great with their communication and staff is always attentive and wonderful. What I love most is their compassion and love for the animals. My dogs appreciate the fact they have their vets at home when they're seen. In the years before I went with At Home and went to a local vet in a traditional setting, it caused such severe anxiety for my dogs. Now it's a breeze for everyone including myself as an owner and my dogs are calm and don't shake and no longer go into panic mode, which is a huge relief!

I'm a little late in posting this, but last year my 16-year old cat was not himself for a few days. I was getting concerned and called At Home Vetinerary. They immediately came to my home in the early afternoon and told me my cat was in heart failure and was dying. I was In shock and heart-broken. Without a peep from him they gently put my prince down as his Gray Tabby companion of 8 years bade him farewell and mourned him for 4 days by not eating and only sleeping. Drs. Krieger, Melinda Persson, Jeremy Gransky (who followed up with me to be sure Alexi was coming out of his depression) and others have been so compassionate over the past couple of years and have always had someone available to answer the call. I greatly appreciated and admire their passion for helping animals.

They were so nice and so patient with my kitty who is sweet but hates to be held.

Dr. Persson and the office team took exceptional care of both me and my pet when it was time to say goodbye. Their kindness, expertise and compassion made this sad experience a beautiful one, too- they made it possible to say goodbye to my dog at home in a familiar, peaceful setting. From setting up my account, answering questions and even providing support via text, the office team was absolutely top-notch: responsive, informative and caring. And, on the day of the visit, Melinda's care of me and my dog was absolutely exceptional. I especially appreciated her graceful bedside manner and gentle sense of humor on that day. I already look forward to my next visit from At Home Vet on a happier occasion!

Dr. Gransky, Dr. Persson, Dr. Krieger, and everyone I've worked with from At Home Veterinary has been great! My cat Madeline doesn't like to be touched by people at all, so taking her to a vet's office is an undertaking. However, the At Home Veterinary staff has taken good care of her for about 8 years so far, minimizing the stress for her and for me.

The fact that Dr. Persson has the ability to do ultrasounds in the home has also been very helpful for us. However, they have referred us to other great clinics for care when needed, including dental work, a biopsy, and consulting with an oncology specialist. In addition, they communicate promptly and have flexible scheduling.

This is a great group of people! I have a super skittish cat, and it's nearly impossible to get her into her carrier. Dr. Krieger came to the rescue, managed to gain Posey's trust and took very good care of her, all while exercising appropriate Covid precautions. They're on the expensive side, but totally worth it!

Rebecca at At Home Veterinary was wonderful. My 7 year old golden retriever Duke was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in November. Learning what a fast aggressive cancer this was I researched pet euthanasia a couple months later when he started to slow down. It was all foreign to me as Duke was my first dog. I contacted At Home Veterinary and spoke with Rebecca.

It was such a devastating call to make because Duke was only 7 and this disease came out of nowhere, hes always been so healthy with no medical issues. Rebecca answered the call and she was so caring and knowledgeable about the services at At Home Veterinary. (she mentioned that she was new to the company and I would have never guessed that) She came across so sympathetic and kind and so sensitive as to what we were going through. February 8th came and Duke passed away that night at home.

So we ended up not having to use At Home Veterinary services, but we were prepared to and appreciate how warm and thoughtful Rebecca was when speaking with her each time I called. Thank you! Duke's Mom

At Home Veterinary was simply wonderful when we were dealing with the heartbreaking decision to humanely end the life of our beloved cat Dill, after a 6-month fight against GI lymphoma. From the first call to Jane, to Dr. Melinda Persson and Laura, who came to our home, we couldn't have been more grateful for the kindness and compassion we were shown. They made one of our saddest days bearable and allowed us to say goodbye to our sweet girl in the most peaceful way.and in her home. Thank you so much.

We've been using At Home Vet for years. The quality of care is excellent and eliminating the stress on our cats of dragging them to an office is amazing.

I would definitely recommend At Home Veterinary. Dr. Persson is great with my 3 cats. She's gentle, takes her time and is always very thorough. Although you may pay a bit more for the services, being able to have vet care done well in the comfort of your own home is a great thing.

Had a visit from Dr. Persson a few months ago because my pet is insanely scared of the vets office. He hyperventilates, poops himself, etc. Dr. Persson was so great with him, extremely patient and an all around awesome person. I also thought this place would be highly costly, but it wasn't bad at all for the services they provided. I would recommend this place to all my friends with nervous pets. Thank you Dr. Persson!

We worked briefly with AHV towards the end of our dog’s life. We felt confident that AHV could help us navigate the palliative needs of our dog. We recommend AHV without reservation.

We wish to express our most sincere gratitude to Dr. Gransky. Our regular veterinarian who was helping us with our very sick dog was unable to come and put her to sleep due to a personal injury. Our dog had taken a sharp decline in health and Dr Gransky was willing to come see us on Saturday before Christmas for an emergency visit. He was professional, informative and very sensitive both with us and our dog, Lily. He was very respectful with her body once she was asleep. We recently made the heart wrenching decision to put our beloved 13 year old dog to sleep and decided we wanted to have it done at our house. I called At Home Veterinary and connected with Jane who was amazing! She explained the process and how we could stay in contact for when the final time came. I then called one evening and Dr Gransky came out the next afternoon.

Simply said, Dr Gransky is amazing. He was so kind, calm and professional and reassured us we were making the right decision. He sat right on the floor with us and explained everything he was doing and made the agonizing process very peaceful. The paperwork was very quick and Dr Gransky was able to do it with my husband while we all sat with our dog.

We were able to do everything slowly and never felt rushed everyone felt like we had plenty of time to say goodbye. The entire service was not inexpensive but considering the amount of time Dr Gransky spent with us and the fact it was done in our home with our dog in his own bed - it was absolutely worth rhe money spent- It was the perfect way to send our old man over the rainbow bridge We will certainly use Dr. Gransky for any future home vet needs.

Melinda Persson from At Home Veterinary helped our sweet cat Gracie come to a tender and beautiful end. Gracie had settled under a tree in our yard, and it was clear she wanted to be there. Melinda was perfectly accommodating and understanding. We all helped Gracie pass out of this life, outside under that tree, with her human family offering comfort and a kind and gentle veterinarian doing all the right things to ease that difficult time. Melinda and At Home Veterinary have our gratitude and highest praise.

We'd been in contact with a well-regarded home euthanasia vet from another company who is incredibly caring, wonderful and responsive, but when our cat suddenly became acutely distressed, that vet was unable to get to us in time, and recommended At Home Veterinary. We were very fortunate that Dr. Melinda Persson understood the urgency of our situation, had a cancellation and was able to slightly shift some other appointments to get to us. Dr. Persson is extremely kind and gifted with compassion; she talked us through everything. The euthanasia itself was peaceful, and we are so grateful she was available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or the other vets at At Home Veterinary.

I can't say enough good things about At Home Veterinary. I have had both Dr. Gransky and Dr. Persson visit and both were excellent. The Vet Asst, Erin and Practice manager, John are equally impressive. They call back within a reasonable time and Visits are easy to schedule and in very timely manner. Everyone I've dealt with has been personable, responsive, and takes the time to explain things. The cats are much less stressed by the whole procedure and enjoy being comfortable in their own home. I will definitely be using in the future.

Dr. Gransky is fearless. When she is restrained and her belly is palpated, my cat produces a continuous loud moan that periodically shifts into a piercing scream, which I cannot explain unless she has somehow learned the art of circular breathing. She also suddenly develops the strength of five men. If this describes your cat, rest easy. You're in good hands. Dr. Gransky is skilled, calm amid chaotic circumstances, and is an excellent communicator.

If your pets don't travel well or appear to be possessed by evil spirits when placed in a vet clinic's waiting room, and you can afford to pay a little more for the convenience of a home visit, I think you'll be very happy with it.

Dealing with Dr. Gransky and his staff is always a pleasure. The office staff is pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Gransky is wonderful with my elderly cat. He is gentle, thorough and caring, and I aways recieve results with lightening speed. If a recommendation or prescription is required, I have it within a few days. My cat is thriving under Dr. Gransky's care and I appreciate all that he does for us. It is slighlty more expensive to have an in-home visit from the vet, but it is worth every penny if you have an elderly animal that hates to travel like mine does.

Dr. Gransky and his team are genuinely caring, skilled, trustworthy, and attentive--everything you could ask. When we had a recent emergency, Dr Gransky gave me great advice. Erin was very patient with me as I was probably more freaked out than our sweet cat, Sly. I had to take him to an emergency room and she called in advance to make sure they were expecting me and knew about his situation. That was vastly appreciated. Recommended very highly.

Dr. Jeremy Gransky took care of one of my cats this past week. It was a crisis and I was amazed that he could see Shadow in this crisis. He was kind, helpful, and great at explaining and putting both me and the cat at ease. He was clear about possible explanations, best course of action, what the charges were, what actions I should and should not pursue, and what the lab tests may show, as well as short and long term implications. He even taught me a great way to get the pills into the cat! I cannot recommend At Home Veterinary services highly enough. Thanks!

Following up after the follow up visit-- everything went perfectly, and Dr. Gransky couldn't be a nicer guy. What a relief to not carry my two RAMBUNCTIOUS kittens to a clinic! The best!

So thankful he was able to help us at the end of our dog's life. She had a fear of the vet's office so there was no way I was taking her in to put her down. On her final day, she was having seizures and Dr. Gransky was able to clear out a stretch of time to come out as early as possible and it was a beautiful experience. He was kind and gracious and I am forever grateful.

We (the cat and I) have had the pleasure of Dr. Jeremy Gransky as our vet. since 2007. Both of us are delighted with his attention and caring. The cat (a retired attack cat) loves Dr. Gransky and he will let the vet. do everything from bloodwork and clipping claws to weight with minimal to no hissing. This is the same cat that has had vets terrified and shaking in corners while I consoled them and tried to coax them out.

Somehow I imagined I would be consoling and coaxing my cat, not the vet-which is what lead to finding a vet who comes to the house. There is a charge for the home visit, but as my cat was traumatized into attack mode by car rides, this is easier on both of us and well worth the additional charge. Dr. Gransky even caught my cat's symptoms of hyperthyroidism and after expensive bloodwork (I highly recommend pet insurance if you don't have it--I don't.) it has been controlled ever since.

My cat is happy and energetically himself thanks to the care and concern of Dr. Gransky. I know that my cat would not be here without his care (he was starting to have heart, kidney and liver failure prior to control of his hyperthyroidism) and it is wonderful to have his later years be as active and full as his younger ones. He is our favorite vet to date.

The cat likes his gentle and efficient appointments, and I like the follow up phone calls and emails that answer my questions. Dr. Gransky always is quick to respond to messages and is ver y punctual with his appointments.
