We had an absolutely positive experience with Dr. Hendrick. He really impressed us with both his care for our dog as well as understanding for how to treat her. He took a very balanced approach between ruling out major issues and proceeding from there in cost-effective and minimally aggressive way. He dealt with us as both a vet and a dog lover (which unfortunately not all vets do). We would highly recommend him for anyone whose dog needs ortho care.

I have mixed feelings about our visit. When we called ahead and arrived on site, no one told us it would be a four to six hour wait. We waited from 12:30 pm until 5:30 pm. to be seen. We came because our vet had no appointments during the day but we didn't get in until after hours anyway. Our dog had an injured back leg and couldn't put any weight on it.
I'm sure time in the waiting room was uncomfortable for him. I had surgery three weeks ago and the long wait was most definitely hard on me. The vet was wonderful but our visit lasted about 15 minutes. If I had known the wait would be so long, we would have seen our normal vet the next morning and spared everyone a long, stressful day sitting in a waiting room. I guess I'd recommend it only if it truly is a life or death situation.

Having a pet that is not feeling well is a very stressful experience. At every point, from the front desk, the Vet Techs, to the Veterinarian, Dr Weisman, all made us feel we were at the right place for our beloved dog. Welcoming, courteous, thorough, and professional. We left our appointment feeling we had a good understanding of our situation. We called the next day with some new questions and had the same exact experience as we did in our appointment. We are very grateful to these wonderful professionals.

Positive: It starts with the front desk being pleasant and helpful. Then Dr. Greenberg and her staff are kind, helpful and qualified. My 13 year old dog, Maggie Mae, had to spend some time in the hospital for eye surgery due to her diabetes and did very well. When I called in the late evening to see how she was doing, there was always someone there for me to talk to.
I was afraid she might not want to return but she was always happy to go in the front door to see her friends. She passed May 2nd and we may never return for their services but I would always recommend them.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The Dr. Was thorough, and gentle with my kitty as well a me. She listened to me and seemed competent. Since they offer 24 hr service and I arrived about 10pm, the fees were high which I had expected. It was difficult to diagnose without further testing which would have cost a lot more. I recommend their services!

I went to Newtown Vet. Specialists to see the Oncologist, Dr. Jennifer McDaniel. My kitty, Zach, 14 years old, had been diagnosed by ultra sound at my vet as having pervasive cancer in his abdominal area, and they referred us to her. l was very nervous and frightened. Everyone was friendly and caring. When Dr. McDaniels assistant, Jessica, took us into the exam room.
She examined him gently and then brought in the softest, most comfortable cat bed, covered it with a big towel, and put him in it. You could see him relaxing. Dr. McDaniels had reviewed the ultra sound report and examined him. Then she talked about treatment options and I agreed with the treatment she proposed. I didn't feel rushed at all. I took home the chemo therapy pills she prescribed and gave him his first dose that evening.
I get a kick out of the way they responded to Zach as though he was the most wonderful kitty they had ever seen. The staff at NVS make you feel special and confident that they are working to help your pet live as long as he can with a good quality of life.

The staff was great. And they took great care of our Petunia. The vet called us after the procedure and explained everything to us, begore we picked her up. Only down side was the long wait, she was there for 8 hours. They were up front about that we arrived. I hope they can get more Veterinarians the need is there. Thank you for taking care of our baby.

Excellent, more than impressive and thorough Vets, diagnostically, etc., I cannot express that and more enough. Their immediate actions / expertise saved my diabetic 15 year old cat's life. I gave notes to the front desk regarding my cat's status even down to feeding him treats with his insulin. And when Dr. Baker called to debrief me, it was immediately evident that she missed nothing.
His nurse I spoke with was exceptional and very kind to me. And aside from each front desk staff member I dealt with being ultra professional, they too were very kindhearted which gives you some ease during a very upsetting situation. What's fantastic and key is they ultrasound during the weekend and that can be crucial for your child!

Our almost 14 year old Border Collie awakened one day with necrotic type tissue on her lip and a red spot that started to bleed. We went to NVS and saw Dr. Wiseman and her staff. They were excellent. Over the next three weeks we had antibiotics and two more rechecks in case she needed surgery to remove it. It healed the bad tissue fell off and she was back to normal.
We suspect it was a spider bite of some sort. There was one rude telephone receptionist during the calls back and forth over three weeks but Dr. Wiseman and the very qualified technicians were excellent. Thank you to all for taking care of our Border Collie, Vhari. Margaret Eslinger

Had a great experience as a new patient with Dr. Constantino for my 2 year old Pomsky. I am new to Yardley and wanted to establish veterinary care. We had an unexpected positive on her stool test and the office called the next day with results and what the plan of care would be! I feel like my dog is in good hands at this practice.

Newtown Veterinary hospital and namely Dr. Jaaron Graham have been our go-to for all vet services since our 12 year old (chocolate lab) Vito has been a pup. I have been told by several ppl in the community that there are more affordable places to go to, but I have never felt taken advantage of, and all services offered have always been reviewed before performed.
As a matter of cost and services I have always been pleased and felt a familiar feel during those times of distress with Vito. No small degree of savings would ever change that and I am sure there will be other pets in my future and they will go to NVH too. Thank you all for being there

Dr. Graham is the best! We had to put our Pug to sleep over the summer, and he was the only vet I wanted to perform the euthanasia because he is so kind and has a great bedside manner. I can tell he loves his job. He always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. We just got a new puppy and brought her in for her first visit at NVH and she loved Dr. Graham as well!

I am most certainly am a customer of this business. it is hardly comforting that the doctor tries to cross reference and check responses via the businesses database. did it occur to the occur that people move. i stand by my review. the vet is infuriating to interact with. once you breakthrough the barriers of an antiquated phone system, you are almost certain to encounter a staff member who hurriedly responds. they can not get you off the phone fast enough. hiding behind the pandemic is truly sad. hiding between small business status is sadder. if you look at publicly available information (https://www.federalpay.org/paycheck-protection-program/newtown-veterinary-hospital-llc-newtown-pa) you can read: "Newtown Veterinary Hospital, LLC in Newtown, PA received a Paycheck Protection Loan of $332,200 through Live Oak Banking Company, which was approved in April, 2020.
This loan has been disbursed by the lender and has not yet been fully repaid or forgiven. The exact status of ongoing loans is not released by the SBA. We have been taking our pets here for many years. Unfortunately we had to put our Pug, Katy, to sleep last week and I would not want anyone else to help us with this difficult choice than Dr. Graham. He is so caring and compassionate. Thank you for making this painful decision a little more bearable for us. Katy was so peaceful when she passed.

Newtown Vet Hospital and Dr. Tim Ireland are the most compassionate and professional Vet Group. They have cared for our Springers for 30 years. Our first springer lived to be 16 1/2. She had been declining towards the end, but Dr Ireland's treatment helped her last another year. Early on a Sunday morning, we knew it was her time. We called Newtown Vet.
She was in bad shape. The last thing we wanted was to pack her in the car. Dr. Ireland came to our house and kindly put her to sleep. This is the kind of person he is. We subsequently used Newtown Vet for our second springer. He lived a long good life and he too received excellent care from Dr. Ireland and other staff - including two ACL repairs. The staff has always been kind and helpful as well. I HIGHLY recommend Newtown Vet

The staff at Newtown vet are exceptional! I have 4 German Shorthaired Pointers, that are working dogs, so injuries happen frequently. Dr Ireland and his staff are always there to help when we need them. The facilities are immaculate and the service we receive is top notch. I highly recommend Newtown Veterinary Hospital!

I've been taking my cats there for a while. The docs there saved the lives of two of them. And the owner always responds to messages and is more than helpful. I've always found them to be efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. Covid stinks. The place is doing its best to remain safe. It might be a bit inconvenient but most vet offices are just as stringent with rules.
I know of a tiny vet place that isn't --and you wind up close up with patients and their parents. Not cool. TY Newtown Vet. My cat fam and I are particularly appreciative of Dr Ireland and Dr Graham. You both rock.

The utmost professional veterinary services! Kindness and impression compassion. I drove almost and hour and a half for Dr. Ireland to perform surgery on my fur baby! From the second I called to the follow, everything was just perfect. Additionally, this surgery was done two months into covid. As a health care professional myself, I was incredibly impressed by the measures taken by NVH to keep me, my fur baby, the staff and providers safe!
The contactless system was well thought out, efficient, and effective. The staff kept me well informed and Dr. I was so patient with me and made sure all is my questions were answered any fears relieved! Thank you NVH for being so amazing during this pandemic and thank you for finding a way to continue you passion and keep our babies healthy! K.M Sewell, NJ

We have been taking our pets here for over 20 years. Each year the service got slightly worse as they turned into a Corporate Money Making Factory. The final straw was when our Golden Retriever needed a simple oral vaccination to be boarded and they ignorant staff couldn't "fit us in for over 2 weeks". Cha-ching! $$$ This place is a DISGRACE!

I cannot say enough good things about theses vets. I have 2 boxers who required considerable care over the past couple of years. After visiting various vets on multiple occasions Newtown vet were the only ones to help. Between my 2 dogs, they received mast cell tumor removal, ACL repair, dental care for multiple cracked teeth and tumor removal, biopsy of arthritic hind foot lump and treatment for a serious bite infection.
They are compassionate and caring in every aspect of what they do. Options and treatment are laid out in very detailed way. I am so pleased with all results. Thanks to them my dogs are doing well and I no longer worry about their care. They are well worth the extra miles I travel so the my dogs can see a Newtown vet!

Brought our 12 year old poodle for a cleaning but unfortunately needed all teeth pulled. A little frightening at 12 to go through anesthesia a but they were great. Great staff. Doctor was excellent. Had tried this a few months earlier at vet in Kingston and they had to stop in the middle due to tech giving wrong meds and nervous vet. They are my new go to. Travelled 1/2 hour but worth it.

We have used the Newtown veterinary hospital ever since we moved to the area almost 27 years ago. While there have been a few small occasions on which we have felt things might have been done better, for the most part we have been thrilled with this practice. These are smart, wonderful, caring, humane and dedicated people who only want what's best for both pet and owner.
Our dogs have been spayed there and gone under anesthesia for other purposes, as well. I always put my trust in these vets. We have also used the kennel, and they do a great job there, too. My only disappointment there is that you can't pick up your dog on a Sunday, while other local kennels do allow it. So if you board your pet here, an extra night will have to be added if you come home on a Sunday. Dr. Kohler in particular has helped us so much, and we are very grateful.
Her patience, kindness, and empathy when it was necessary to euthanize our pets helped make those painful and intimate family moments go as smoothly as they possibly could. There are many veterinary practices in Bucks County. We are lucky to have many VHUP graduates in our area. Even my dog's excellent trainer recommends the Newtown Veterinary Hospital over the others.

This practice is amazing! My Great Dane pup and I had a horrible experience at our previous vet which made him terrified of the vet. Dr. Bairstow and vet tech Ally went out of their way to take their time and make my pup feel at ease for his exam and the front office staff was so pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable as well. I couldn't ask for anything more from a vet practice. They are awesome!

We visit this animal hospital because they have a great doctor who can handle behavior issues - Dr. Summers. The staff here are very friendly and understanding of our special needs dog. They see us promptly and are always gentle and friendly with our dogs. The facilities could be bigger - which is why they're building a new location - but that is my only complaint!
