The greatest compliment we can receive is your recommendation and to keep bringing your pet in for more than just an emergency vet but for all the preventative things as well. If we have fallen short of our goal, please give us the chance to make it right.
We know that your pet's health care is as important as your own. If you can choose a lifestyle that incorporates a holistic philosophy for yourself, why shouldn't you be able to do the same for your pet? We are fortunate to have on staff a veterinarian who is licensed to practice traditional Western medicine, Chinese acupuncture, and herbal therapies.

I cannot express how happy I am that my little Luna and I switched to this vet! We previously went to a vet that just made me feel awful and like my pup was such a burden. She is so sweet and has never been aggressive in her life! But they would constantly suggest muzzling her and sedation for something as simple as a nail trim (I could go onnnn about them!) Needless to say, Luna became absolutely terrified of the vet and those people, so we had to make a switch.

I received a suggestion to take her to AMCL and could not be happier! Worth the 20 minute drive for us. They are always so respectful and kind. And Luna is not shaking with fear when we go! Highly recommend them for caring for your pets :)

I switched to this office after some questionable practices at a previous office. I was recommended by an employee I trust and gave them a go. I'm so glad I did! When the love of my life was passing, they were so gentle and understanding. It was expensive and added insult to injury, but there's nothing you can do about that. When I adopted two new babes, they were very accepting and worked with both the rescue I used and me.

That's not always easy to do and their cooperation and willingness to find alternative solutions (backed by science and medicine) was incredible. I'm a fan. Also, Brittany and Kelly are angels. No joke.

Wonder team of doctors and technicians. They are so friendly and caring. They always take time to ensure I fully understand my pets health concerns and they work closely with me to put the best plan in place to help my fur babies feel their best.

Zero (0) Stars Review I called in on Tuesday 4/7/20 and talked to Marsha who was supposed to send me some forms to fill out (she never did) and was supposed to put me on the schedule for Friday 4/10/20 @10am in the Brambleton Office (she never did). I am surprised because we had a good chat about my two new Yorkers. My husband showed up at the Brambleton Office.

The receptionist there told him to step out of the office and wait outside. Understandable with this situation of the virus. He waited 30min. He saw the receptionist come and call in every other person with their pet. Coincidentally, he was the only colored person in the group waiting outside. However, receptionist should be civilized and explain what the procedure is before barking orders.

I thought as a medical center, you would need patients/clients. I called the Ashburn office and Marsha picked up. She informed I was not on the schedule and never was. WOW, talk about a chaotic office. If the center cannot handle the administrative part, I could imagine the rest. I wouldn't trust this medical center with my puppies. Please do not hide my review or delete. Other folks need to know how you treat prospect clients. Karen

During this pandemic they handled everything wonderfully and I was still able to get my cats their annual vaccines. I definitely recommend this animal hospital in any global situation.

We have been bringing our two kitties cats for two years now and we are very satisfied with the care and attention all of the staff provide. I think that we have had appointments with every vet in the office and each have spent a good amount of time with us and explained the conditions and treatments fully. My only suggestion is if they could have a Wellness Plan, and other offers to help with cost, I believe then the full care overall would be even more superb and assist pet owners to take care of their pet family.

We saw Dr. Grasso at this practice, and quickly learned that she is an unnecessarily expensive vet who uses no common sense in her special billing practices. The other vets at this practice charge reasonable rates, but Dr. Grasso is the only holistic vet there. She charges a lot for her initial holistic consult (about $300), which we were fine with to become established with her. However, when she charged us $100+ for the same exact issue within 1 month (and requiring not even 2 more minutes worth of cognitive thought), we refused the treatment and left.

The charge is for her time "thinking about" the remedy needed. I thought that was why she was already charging her higher than average exam fee, but I thought wrong. Following holistic methods is not an excuse to price gouge people, and I suspected she was charging these ridiculous prices to help her only work part-time. She also did not respond well when I questioned her about her prescribed treatments. It's unfortunate, and she's taking advantage of the fact that so few vets in this metro area practice holistically.

I will never go back to this vet office again. The staff was completely insensitive after my pet died and all they seem to care about is money. This is not the first pet I have had treated there, but it will be the last. The whole experience makes me hesitant about ever having a pet again. Thanks AMCL for making a terrible experience worse! Good luck to you.
