Lotus Veterinary believes in integrating Western medicine and surgery with acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and nutrition. A truly holistic approach to your pet's care involves incorporating multiple treatment modalities, and choosing the combination that is most appropriate for the individual animal. We believe that medical care for pets is best achieved as a collaborative effort, and thus place great emphasis on educating clients and fully explaining all treatment options.Providing care in the home is much less stressful for both pets and their human caregivers-especially for animals that are nervous in a hospital environment, or that have painful or debilitating conditions.
A thorough physical examination is the most important part of your pet's medical care. One of our doctors will review any pertinent medical history, information about diet, recent changes in the household, and relationships with other pets and humans. They will carefully assess all of your pet's systems to detect any early evidence of potential problems from both a Western and Chinese medical perspective.

I was looking for a new doctor for my cat. I was going to Pets Unlimited for quite some time and the frustration was having to see a new doctor EVERY single time I went. There was no consistency and the doctors would give me different recommendations for Noelle (my cat). I was digging around on the Internet to see what Vets were out there and read some reviews and testimonials. Ended up calling and scheduling an appointment with Lotus Veterinary House Calls.
They incorporate both holistic and western veterinary practices! Most importantly, they do house calls! Well, that's all they do and although a bit on the pricey side, it's WAY more convenient because my cat would get incredibly sick and poop all over the place when I would bring her to the vet in the past. Not fun at all. I met with Dr. Araba Oglesby, DVM and her assistant, Danielle.
They were incredibly friendly and Dr. Oglesby is crazy knowledgeable and gave me some great advice on how to take care of Noelle. I highly recommend them. Please keep in mind that if you need vaccinations for your pet, you will need to let them know so a tech can come out to your home as well.
