Both facilities are full service emergency hospitals open all night and on all holidays. Services range from emergency room outpatient care to intensive in-patient care. Close contact and communication are maintained between the Croton Animal Hospital and KBVC/VEG. All hospitalized patients must be current on their rabies vaccinations.
At Croton Animal Hospital, we understand that it is not always possible for pet owners to bring sick pets to the animal doctor for treatment. For this reason, we offer mobile veterinary service in Croton-on-Hudson, NY and surrounding Westchester County communities. CAH is the best experience I have had with any vet pertaining to my two small, elderly dogs. Looking back at my first visit, Dr. Popolow really took such great care of both Cookie and Paco from the beginning. She listened as I voiced my concerns and helped me when it came time to make difficult decisions. Everyone is so friendly and make the process of taking your pup to the vet that much easier :

My dog is infested with baby ticks. After calling my primary vet along with another vet in the area and not getting much helpful information from the front desk staff, I tried another vet and called Croton Animal Hospital for advice. The receptionist on the phone was so kind and helpful. She ended up putting me on the phone with Dr. Gustavson and he immediately understood my concern and said "don't panic!".
He gave me so much helpful information on how to take care of my dog, and walked me through everything I needed to do. It was very nice of him to take time out of his day to speak with me and answer all of my questions when I'm not even a patient of his. I will be switching over to this vet because I had such a pleasant experience. You can tell he really cares and takes his time with each patient. Thank you!

My family has been using CAH for over 20 years. My fiance and I adopted an 8 week old puppy (who is now almost 16 weeks). The CAH has been amazing, especially during this tough time, caring for our puppy and administering all of the necessary vaccines.
