New Castle Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Stephanie joined the staff of New Castle Veterinary Hospital 21 years ago. She started as a receptionist and veterinary assistant and now handles many of the administrative roles in the practice. She is also the preceptor and mentor to new staff. Stephanie spends many of her personal vacations working in shelters and rescuing animals.

Great vet with terrific support staff. Dr. Kaufman has been treating our 14-year-old dog Shadow since she was a puppy. He has provided excellent advice and care on many issues big and small. I grew up with lots of animals, and have know a lot of vets over the years, and Dr. Kaufman is one of the best. I once called him at 2 am with an emergency and he calmly talked me through how to solve the problem.
He is a great listener and explainer. His office is extremely well run. Appointments are on time and insurance forms filled out quickly. His staff could not be nicer or more competent. He donates care to wildlife and has a rescue dog. Dr. Kaufman has always been there for Shadow.
