So we were attending the Westminster dog show this year, June, 21-23,2022 and one of our "kids" developed a serious issue with gagging through the night, first thing Wednesday morning at 8 am we stopped into the Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital, greeted there by Manager James, who took a serious look and started the ball rolling, then came Dan along with Dr Doherty and whole staff jumping in to help our boy with taking blood, X-rays and complete examination in a matter of 45 minutes. Diagnosis was grim but hopeful, quick action with a few injections etc and we were able to travel back Canada to get further help here. All through the 7 hour drive Dr Doherty kept tabs on our boy to make sure he was stable and calm. Thank you for all the help and compassion shown to complete strangers

Meh. I see reviews about how much "They Care" for your pet but at the end of the day Dr. Romano is not really much of a skilled veterinarian. He outsources and refers pretty much everything to more talented, experienced doctors. Kind of a "Dirty ears and Diarrhea" limited type of doctor, but he and the staff are very friendly. SHAH is "Okay" for routine check-ups but if your pet is sick, this is not a place I would recommend, at all. Do your research.

We can not say enough wonderful things about Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital! In 2020, we moved from Manhattan to Tarrytown and after coming from a wonderful vet in the city, we were on the hunt. After a lot of research, we decided to take our Frenchie, Dozer, in for a general check-up and to receive any shots he was out of date with. The moment we walked in, we felt at home.

Every member of the team is friendly and welcoming. The vet techs are gentle, kind, and extremely informative. Once we met with Dr. Romano, we knew that SHAH would be our home. Dr. Romano is a true professional and extremely knowledgeable. We immediately felt we could trust him and his guidance. Recently, our Frenchie had to have surgery and the team did a wonderful job.

The communication and wealth of knowledge provided was top notch and extremely appreciated. We never felt pressured into making any decisions that we weren't fully confident in. We can't thank Dr. Romano and team enough. Our dog literally runs into the door each visit and loves everyone. Thank you all for your continued work and most importantly, your genuine love for what you do - it never goes unappreciated!

I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else! Dr. Doherty and the rest of the staff go above and beyond in answering any questions I have and treating my cat like one of their own. Highly recommend!

Dr Romano and Dr Doherty are the best of the best! They are both patient with all my questions and amazing with my cats. Prices are fair. Everyone in this office is amazing! from the second you walk in it's always a pleasant experience. At my prior vet, my senior cat had to be put under anesthesia every time we took her because she's very aggressive.

Since we've been taking her here, Dr Doherty is amazing with her and is able to do her check ups, administer shots, take her blood, nail clippings, and shavings with no problem. I cannot say enough good things about sleepy hollow animal hospital. You can tell everyone in this office really cares about your animals. They are careful, thorough and kind.

Dr. Romano and Dr. Doherty are both great. They clearly love animals and are so gentle and also thorough in their exams.

Great place with one of a kind bedside manner. They treated my dog with kindness during his vaccination appointment. Glad to have them around in Tarrytown.

I take my FIV-positive cat there and they are so kind and good with him. They listen and give him attention and make him very comfortable before procedures. This vet was highly recommended to me by the shelter where I got my cat and I can really see why! I fully recommend them.

We love Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital-- Dr. Romano and Dr. Doherty have been so thorough and helped our french bulldog recover from GI issues that another Vet hospital was unable to treat. Our frenchie is a handful, but both doctors and team members Dan and Edgar are always so welcoming and loving towards our girl. We are so happy with the care our frenchie receives and highly recommend this hospital.

Dr Romano and his staff have been our baby's Dr for over 10 years (since he was born). He has always been available, attentive and compassionate. Not to mention- patient with all our questions. Wouldn't go any where else!

The staff care and competence is reassuring. Our 4 yr old, 5 lb tiny toy is returned in a happy state. And the same is true when I sometimes pickup our daughter's 2 yr old German shepherd mix rescue and 15 yr old cairn terrier. I can only compliment the veterinary expertise and referrals to the top veterinary specialists. They want what is best for our dog, and that counts a lot with us.

We've struggling to find a vet that we're happy with, but with sleepy hollow animal hospital we've found them. They are really great and genuinely care about your pets! The only downside would be that because they are so great, it's sometimes hard to get an appointment in

A quality experience with Sleepy Hollow. I had a first time visit (I recently moved), and found it a SHAH combination of efficiency and care. The parking in the back had spots both times I visited, and the vet techs and vet were great on the phone. My dog is not a fan of the vet, and they actually administered his vaccines while I was on the phone. I loved our old vet but have found a replacement.

I cannot say enough kind things about Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital and their wonderful staff. My boyfriend and I rescued a four year old Dachshund about 6 months ago who had a rough start of life so he's very nervous and anxious. The staff was so gentle, so kind, so understanding, and they educated us on all the medication/items needed to keep our baby safe.

I have called a number of times with random new dog mom questions, and Bobbi, is so happy to help me and she is quick to calm any concerns I might have. They are so personable, professional, and you can tell they absolutely love animals. I consider my dog my child, and I trust Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital with him entirely.

Bentley loves his visits to the vet. It is very clean there and all of the staff we have met are very welcoming, friendly, and nice. We have met all 3 vets and a few of their technicians - all very knowledgable and helpful in answering our questions.
